😠 DO NOT EAT HERE!! This place does not store their desserts properly. There was mold in some of them, and my daughter ended up eating a piece of chocolate cake that didn't seem to have mold on it, and ended up throwing up at night. I completely regret going there and giving her that piece of cake. Wh... People often mention nice,

The waitress who spoke no English at first was very friendly. However, after being given our drinks and food(which was cold, although OK), we literally never saw her again. Not a single waiting staff was seen for the rest of the meal in the entire restaurant. All the customers were asking each other what the heck was going on!! The worst service I've ever had. She was on her own and then disappeared. We shouted to the back of the counter, as did many other customers, with no response, we must have waited at least 30-40 minutes after eating. The toilet was filthy also. I suggest visiting many of the other great restaurants in Aveiro.

We were just visiting for a weekend but apparently every Saturday and Sunday afternoon there is live music in the outside sitting area. We were lucky enough to see it, although totally by chance. That just made it all perfect really, the tea house is beautiful and you can have one of the million different tea options or a nice and perfectly prepared G&T if that's more your thing. Obviously lots of nice food to go with all of it. The final star goes for the staff, helpful and welcoming obviously but more than that always smiling and going out of their way to provide a perfect visit. A must go.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! This place does not store their desserts properly. There was mold in some of them, and my daughter ended up eating a piece of chocolate cake that didn't seem to have mold on it, and ended up throwing up at night. I completely regret going there and giving her that piece of cake. When we informed the waitress, she did not throw away the desserts that had mold, and I believe they are still there on the shelf that is not refrigerated. Dangerous place to eat! Also, the waitress was new and was completely by herself. Service would have been horrible if we were not the only customers that at the time.

Great food, we had a Tuna salad, some prawns, a hot sandwich and some bread (it was a little too much, but it didn't stop us sharing a cheese cake!). The food was all very tasty, watch out for the piri piri oil, wow that was hot!!! Service was very good, nice court yard to eat in, we would be happy to go back.

A very fancy place to enjoy your midday escape. ;) I love the atmosphere of the cafe. It's bright and the staff is also very nice and speaks good English. The prices aren't too high. All in all enjoyable.

Tuna salad was good, followed by a proper cheesecake. Nice little courtyard setting beneath an art nouveau building.

Good food, but very small portions. The staff was not entirely friendly. The restaurant overall had a nice atmosphere.

Staff didn't check for covid certificate. When we sit down, nobody asked what we wanted. Basically they didn't give a F.... We left. Worst experience in Aveiro. The space is beautifull.

Super nice place. It's a coffee/bar with snacks in a museum. It is a wonderful idea to use the space and make the museum more attractive. Staff is friendly, price is fair and quality is good. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy a good talk with friends

Beatrix, Eva and Alex couldn’t have been more accommodating! Charming location, intriguing accoutrements and a really great energy - nice drinks and not too expensive. The staff celebrated our honeymoon with us and we just had a really lovely evening nestled in the up-the-stairs nook. Perfect!

The place is nice looking but we literally waited 1 hour and half for a poor sandwich. The waitress was nice too but it doesn't change the fact that we waited too long for nothing.

All of the food was bland and disgusting. The service was terrible and they kept forgetting our orders and the food took forever to be ready even though there weren't many people. Do not eat here. A complete waste of time and money.
