Very good all you can eat restaurant in Aveiro! Their sushi is delicious and high quality! The service is outstanding, their staff is the nicest. One of my favorite restaurants.

I arrived to a nearly EMPTY restaurant, both inside and outside on the patio, YET waiter balked at seating me in a 4 seater under a heater (NO 2 seater tables had heaters!), I said I would PASS as they were nearly EMPTY, he responded, BUT IT'S FRI. NIGHT! I went to leave & he SAID HE'D CHECK...LOL...finally agreeing to LET ME sit beneath a heater in his nearly patio/restaurant! But though I ordered as soon as he handed me a menu, a 25 piece sushi platter, PONZU SAUCE (which he said would have to be MIXED UP SPECIAL and pot of chomomile tea with honey, service was FAR FROM ATTENTIVE! They did start getting busy but when I was finally served, it came with A TALL FLASK OF THE SALTIEST SOY SAUCE, CLEARLY NOT SPECIALLY MIXED UP PONZU I REQUESTED, but he made NO COMMENT that WAS NOT PONZU SAUCE, yet after HALF MY DINNER WAS FINISHED showed up with a small serving of 'PONZU' after the UNUSUABLE SOY 'SALT FLAT' SAUCE went without comment!!!! Shortly after, I flagged another waiter down to ask for more hot water for my tea AND MORE PONZU and he LITERALLY TOLD ME YO WAIT!!! 10 min. LATER my waiter came by to check on me (I've had no water, nor was I ever offered any, I told him I'd been been waiting for PONZU & HOT WATER and he eventually brought them BUT CLEARLY WAS NEVER TOLD BY THE OTHER WAITER THAT I HAD EVER WAITED!!! The SUSHI WAS NOTHING SPECIAL but THE SERVICE & THE ATTITUDE 'WHERE BOTH below ONE STAR'!!! And to top it off, THE LOCATION is apparently PROBLEMATIC for UBER as I was passed up by ONE driver 8 minutes away and then SELECTED by a driver 20 minutes away WHO THEN TOOK FOUR OTGER FARES WHILE I WAITED to be picked up Arriving for me 42 minutes AFTER I REQUESTED A RIDE!!! ALL IN ALL this SUSHI IS A DON'T GO!@#$% PERIOD! I LEFT NO TIP, CONVEYED MY EXPERIENCE TO MY WAITER & NO APOLOGY WAS FORTHCOMING! HE JUST KEPT SAYING, 'but EVERYTHING ELSE WAS OK!?!' What else is there beyond SERVICE/ FOOD?

Absolutely loved this place! One of the best services that I’ve ever experienced and I am really grateful for all the waiters. The food was astonishing - and the meat was delicious. This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Aveiro. Will definitely be returning!

It is the part of Brazil in Portugal. The sushi was impeccable and the meat rodizio is well served with side dishes.

Kind service Made an extra effort to trabslate all the food that was served. We had both the meat and sushi food and it was well done and tasty. Would recommend this dining experience.

An all-you-can-eat brazilian restaurant that offers a nice variety of cuts for a fair price. And the staff and service excels the expectations every time. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Aveiro!

You have three options, all-you-can-eat for sushi or Brazilian barbecue meat (various) or ala carte, but you cannot mix it. I tried the barbecue option in it's ok, picanha, maminha, fraldinha, linguiça with some side dishes like rice, black beans, fries, etc... I can recommend the barbecue.

Amazing restaurant. Did not taste the sushi, but the picanha was very good. The only thing is that I asked it medium-rare and they gave me one rare-rare... Other than that, definitely will come back for more.

Don’t you ever think that because of serving both sushi and meat the restaurant lacks quality! Actually Espeto do sul is, in my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Portugal both for sushi and brazilian style meat. It is more like 2 restaurants in one and you can choose between the sushi side or the meat side. The smell won’t cross, as they are super opposite of each other. The servers are super friendly and careful! If you choose sushi, make sure to order the Festival option, where you get unlimited sushi served in an Aveiro boat style, the moliceiro!

We ate sushi there, ordered a sushi combination for one adults and 3 kids, got a lot of of sushi of different kinds, all of the very tasty. Service was fast and kind. They also have vegan options.

Absolutely not the best place for sushi in Aveiro. Some fusion pieces just made no sense and the fish wasn't as fresh as it should.

Absolute perfection. Every single side dish was perfect to accompany the picanha, alongside some sausage and fried chicken. Every single staff member is very cheerful and welcoming, making you feel as if you were at home. Some evenings have live music and as soon you close your eyes, it takes to a new world. The perfection of the picanha is beyond words, it was the most well grilled piece of meat I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Melts in your mouth, with a crispy texture on the outside unlike any other type of meat.

Delicious! We got the all you can eat sushi festival menu. They will bring you a huge boat with an assortment of sushi and sashimi- then you can order more as needed. The service was top notch.

Not recommended at all! I chose the full one where you can eat all the meat you want, just in case ...what a disappointment! Started by a very nasty cooked chicken, followed by dausage and then, pork and and pork...I needed to ask "where's the meat I came for...maminha, picanha.." Finally it arrived, very shy. So, it's a NO GO! About ssushi...omg, what a waste of everything! Mustard in a roll? Really? Very bad "sushi" plates and extremely expensive for what they offer. Compared to Subenshi it's like this is -5 stars. Compared to Haru sushi, this is a -2 stars. So, highly NOT RECOMMENDED.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, amazing food.

This was a fantastic dinner. Amazing value for the 2 picanha set. The service was great, everyone was friendly and funny. The drinks were really yummy too. I recommend this spot for a great Brazilian dinner. Definitely go when you are hungry because there is a lot to eat!
