Aventura has a number of well maintained parks. What makes them different from parks in other south Florida towns I have visited is that they are all gated. Sometimes it can be a little tricky to find the entrance and parking but if you make the effort you are rewarded with beautiful green spaces. This park honors all of the military veterans. Unlike some of other parks in town, it has a dedicated parking lot. It also has a camera aimed at the parking lot to discourage break ins. Smash and grabs are a problem for people enjoying south Florida parks and this added level of security is welcome. Park amenities include a Veteran's memorial, very nice covered playground, open play area with soccer net, picnic shelters with tables, shade trees, paved exercise path, and restroom. This is a great place to take the kids to play and picnic with the added bonus of knowing your car is being watched in the parking lot.

Great little park. The play structure is nice and looks well maintained with shade for the sunny days. There is restroom facilities on site and parking available by the entrance. My kid loved it. Although I believe this is a resident only park there is no guard checking id's. On the plus side, there are a few tables so you can make it a day.

I like to take my children to this park. well taken care of and plenty of parking. Park has bathroom, water fountains and a small path for bicycles/rollerblades. Everytime I had to interact with other parents all of them seemed to me very nice. Recommend 👍

My kids really enjoy going to this playground. I really like how well maintained it is. The playground is always clean. My only concern is the bathroom on site is by the entrance of the playground and the door is out of view. Whoever designed the bathroom didn't take into consideration the safety aspect. Maybe I'm just an overly concerned parent. I'm that over the parent that karate kicks into the bathroom 🤣. Other than that the park is awesome.

Very nice playground. My four year old and I are here on a Sunday afternoon and there are some families here. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The play structure is in excellent condition. I fully recommend this park!

Small but very nice park.

gate closed to pick or drop off kids area to get school.. Need security there make sure walk from park is safe.

The slide is right under the peak sun with NO covering. So bad that my 2 year old daughter AND wife were severely burned because of this lapse. Why would you out two overhead coverings with a split in the middle and the plastic slide right in between under the sun!

Very pleasant but not big enough for the kids to have enough options of what to do. Still a worthwhile place and it has a parking lot. both positive things for an inner city park

Beautiful well kept park and kids playground is great to keep the kids entertained. There's well shaded shelter with a picnic table that works awesome for a small gathering. Will definitely visiting again.
