Food was soo good and fresh. Shout out to one of the best waitress Kasandra and to the cook!! Will definitely be back!!

We went for Mothers Day weekend, and of course, it was PACKED!!!! But the staff being the professionals they are handled it excellently. One food item was a bit salty but still worth my coins. The shrimp was on point, my steak was cooked to perfection, I ate the rest with eggs the next morning, my broccoli was deliciously steamed and the chicken was the salty item but the shrimp replacement was a worth it exchange. I had a mango margarita that was everything!! I'll go back everytime!!!

How does a place turn away a family of 20 in town for a funeral? Amazing we call to make reservations for our family already going thru a difficult time and the lady on the other end tells us it could be up to an hour/-and half wait even after we have called at 2pm letting them know our arrival 6pm seating arrangement. Longhorn has always a family and friendly go to place here and Avon, that had never let us down. I even had written so many great food reviews in the past and to help things it's endorsed by AMEX platinum. However incident set us back during a hard time, cut the entire family. The action of 1 single person also hurt Longhorns reputation and took money away from servers/waitresses that work so hard. As a result of not being accommodating we placed a call to the Avon staple restaurant "OPA" and no issues. We got reservations there with ease. I will also say this isn't the first time we have had issue with the seating in past here at Longhorn. They have before said to us as we entered it will be an hour wait; only to be seated within 15mins. Leadership needs to help these younger kids understand where their bread gets buttered. Update to next visit (2 of us): This place continues to always struggling with seating, and definitely needs more help with accommodating the walk-ins. Still the only sticking point at this location. Everything else including our waitress, food, and overall price was spot on. We were completely satisfied and feel if they can do a better welcoming experience the restaurant would be worthy of a perfect score - but they must improve. Update June 2023: Tabby and Katrina doing there absolute best to make it a great experience for my wife and I. You 2 are superstars and if I was a millionaire with my own business on the beach, you both would be running it because I would steal you both and pay you what you deserve!!! Thanks to you both: We got ahold of gift card services and found that our gift card funds had been stolen remotely. They see the errors and now just waiting on a new card next week and we will definitely return!

Waiter Jared was awesome. Steak was a little overcooked but still very good. (Actually was the best steak I've had in a very long time) Salad was fresh as was the bread. Loaded baked potato was yummy. Overall very good experience. Sadly prices have increased just like everyone else.

Started out with very poor, or no greeting from hostess, and then led us to a table in the bar, without asking us if it was alright to be seated in the bar. We declined the bar location, and was led to a half booth against the west wall, and I asked if we could have a booth, and was promptly told no. Got off on a very wrong foot with us, since I recently had surgery, and needed the softer booth seating, and didn’t want my wife setting in a chair. However our waiter turned out to be excellent! He made up for the poor welcoming committee at the hostess area. Food was great, service was great, and was delivered promptly.

Steak was cooked perfectly! very juicy. The loaded mash potatoes were different from last visit. We usually do take out, but we figured lunch time was not as busy so we decided to dine in. Customer service was well and inviting, the margarita was well prepared as well.

BOTH of my and my husband's steak we ordered was to be medium-well done and it was cooked medium-RARE for both of them. They were disgusting and it really made the meal difficult to eat. Both of us were highly disappointed and if we were in the restaurant they would have been sent back and we would have left. Our dinner was ruined and we live 20-25 minutes away from this restaurant so it is not like we could have taken it back.

All I can say is I'm satisfied from head to toe. God food, good price and very comfortable atsmophere. I love eating at a restaurant while feeling relaxed. If my food is good and the waitress (waiter) do their job I even leave a nice tip. I always say keep my butter bread coming to the table. Also keep my refill of sweet tea if available coming. This is just one good place!!!

The service was very quick, my steak was a shade over medium but still good and the shrimp was very tasty. The bartenders drinks were on the money. Good amount of food, for the price. We will return.

This restaurant is always the tops!! Great service is always on tap here!! The steaks are so tender and cooked to order. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. I keep coming back for more!! This time Gina did a fantastic job treating us like royalty!! Thanks guys!! We love it here!!

Delicious and capable of handling a party of 13 on Father's Day!! Food and service was top of the line

Great food, one of the best steaks I have had in a long time! Steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare). Salad was very fresh with very creamy/tasty blue cheese dressing. The crispy brussel sprouts are AMAZING!

This is the only sit down restaurant that we go to in Avon that is actually consistent with good food. All of the others are sub par at best. We love this Long Horn and come atleast once every other week. Please keep up the good work from the Chefs to the customer service workers.

Went tonight to celebrate my 11th Anniversary to my love. He ordered a 9 oz Flo filet, mac n cheese with asparagus. I had an 8 oz sirloin steak, loaded baked potato, salad. We shared onion petals with the zesty sauce. The waiter was very nice, funny and attentive. Great job Longhorns! You must try!

We were greeted with a big smile and bigger personality! Ordered the French onion soup and lobster bisque. Both were very good. A cup was just enough. I ordered the lunch cheeseburger and hubs ordered a strip steak. I just had the problem with no taste on this day, which does just come and go. But cheeseburger was prepared like I wanted. Hubs enjoyed his steak! Food was great but the bill was not! Too expensive for what you get and with competitive restaurants close by!!

Mouth watering goodness! I couldn't ask for a much better meal. My burger was top notch. And my other half had the Renegade 8oz that was just as good as my meal! I would recommend you get there as fast as you can..

Ordered a carry out order. Medium rare ribeye and filet was completely raw and under seasoned. Mac and cheese was different than the other side of Mac on the order, very strange. If I wanted to cook and season my food when I got home I would have stopped at meijer and bought a better cut of steak. Horrible.
