    The lady’s at the registers really make you feel like a bother, I stood waiting to be checked out but they were too into gossip and even looked at me stand there. Once they called me over an item I grabbed didn’t have a barcode and instead of trying to search the item up or look for the details she made me go grab another one MYSELF all because she was too into the gossip and didn’t want to step away. They kept talking about their gossip as she continued to ring me out. Couldn’t even give me proper respect of attention! (Cashier name Kiara)

    I have been getting my hair done by Michael since last Nov and I can honestly say he is the best!!! I would never go to anyone else, he’s professional and goes above and beyond ! Great energy and knows what he’s doing. I also took my daughter for a haircut and she absolutely loved him! Thank you Michael for fixing my hair and taking good care of us!

    Avondale Ulta has a wonderful staff and an awesome salon. One of my favorite hair stylists is Michael. Hes a master at his craft and he is always friendly, professional and caring. He makes everyone feel like family. I highly recommend that you request Michael for any of your hair care needs. 🩷

    I literally switched hair stylists to Michael at this location because not only does he do a fantastic job, he’s also just super dope. I feel so pampered and enjoy my time in his chair every time!

    Got my hair cut here and it was amazing. Michael took care of me and I would absolutely love to have him be my stylist forever. He really listened to me and worked with me through my haircut. He was also so sweet and personable. I've also had many experiences shopping in store here and staff is always as helpful as they can possibly be.

    I got my hair cut Friday, I haven’t felt pretty in a long time and I just wanted a refresh and blow out to feel beautiful. I went in my hair was long about midway through my back. I asked the hairstylist for a butterfly cut and curtain bangs. We discussed length and I told her it was too short to meet in the middle so about an inch off my length all around. I told her I didn’t want to look like I had a mullet because I don’t have super thick hair. As she was cutting my hair I was noticing a lot off, I kept telling her it’s too much but she keep assuring me it was not. I trusted her I also told her I never go get my hair cut because I have been worried of someone messing up my hair. As she was done cutting it wet she said she was going to do a quick dry to finish off. She started thinning it out and I told her not to I like it thick because I don’t want a mullet. She kept reassuring me that it was just a little bit. She did a blow out after with rollers well clips just rolled them up and I did not like it told her not a fan. So she dried it out better and that’s when I saw the length, she cut off about 4inches!!!! My layers were choppy and it was so thinned out that I looked like I had a freaking mullet. I reached back to see if I can feel my length from the front and I couldn’t even touch the ends and that is when I made eye contact with the customer who was sitting next to me and she made this omg face because I know she heard me tell this girl what I didn’t want and this stylist ignored everything I wanted and literally gave me everything I did not want. My length was gone my beautiful thickness was gone! I started to cry because I felt even more uglier then when I walked in and she told me then that the butterfly cut has all these layers so it will have that kind of mullet effect that I should have asked for long layers in the beginning but I told her why didn’t you tell me this in the beginning when I expressed my concerns of what I didn’t want to look like?! She told me there was miscommunication but there wasn’t. She did what she wanted and I hate my hair I went in there trusting my hair to someone to listen to me and she completely did the opposite and I hate it. They still had me pay only $20 and gave me some stupid mask that in reality nothing with help your hair grow faster then what your body does. I’m a mother of 4 and I have learned to do everything on my own to save money and take care of my kids needs that all I wanted was to feel pampered but I’m stuck looking like Joe dirt for the rest of the year. How could you let someone do this to someone. We clearly discussed everything. I showed her where the length she wanted to cut was too short I didn’t want that much off but she ended up cutting it to what she wanted anyways. I hate ulta for this I really do a women’s hair is their identity it’s what makes your outfit or what just adds on to the end to make you feel beautiful and she took that from me. All I can do it put my hair up in a low bun from now on until I get my length and thickness back. I will never ever return to ulta for a hair cut again in my life and I will not take my daughters there either. As I put my hair up now it’s such a small bun compared to how thick it use to be. Thank you for helping this postpartum mom try to feel beautiful about herself only to feel even more ugly

    Online it says the blowout comes with a wash but it does not. This is now the 3rd time I get a treatment or blowout where online it says it comes with a wash and it doesn’t. So now I have to wash my hair since my hair looks exactly the same as when I came in. Not worth the 40+ dollars. Please update your app with what comes with your service.

    It was my first time going to that location and I was left stunned. There was makeup, foundation smeared everywhere, the items all unorganized. Make up wipes piled up in the trash. It has been the first time I’ve been to an Ulta filthy and unorganized. Plus none of the employees asked if I needed help or anything. Won’t be coming to that location any longer. I’m sure they can care less.

    The average wait for an elite or master stylist was 2+ weeks so I selected a regular stylist for full highlights. Off of the bat the introduction was dry which continued throughout the experience and led to a break in communication/understanding. I told her I wanted 8/9 level highlights after pointing it out in the color book. I'm now at a level 6/7 which is EXACTLY what I wanted to avoid. She did not tell me I'd need multiple sessions BEFORE lightening my hair, did not give me an update of how much it lightened at the bowl nor did she stay to ensure that the toner didn't darken the highlights too much. For these reasons I would like a refund!

    Let me start by saying that Imani was phenomenal! She was patient and kind, she answered all of my questions and assisted me in purchasing my Clinique skin care products, an entire set. Plus make up. However they were out of stock for the foundation that worked best for me. She gave me a small sample to take home until they got the product back in stock and said to check back in about a week.( let me also say that I can’t just wear just any brand of makeup, I have lupus and psoriasis) Unfortunately each of the 5 times that I returned to purchase the foundation I encountered some very bad customer service and uncaring staff members! The last time I went in I attempted to explain my frustration with having to return 5 times just to get the foundation; I ended up in an actual argument with one of those staff members to the point that I will NEVER EVER shop at Ulta again!! And her manager was standing right there listening to the entire exchange! Now the manager knowing that I was beyond upset offered to at least allow me to take a picture of the correct foundation so that I could go to a place of my choosing to purchase the product. I’m disgusted that this is what passes as customer service these days! I spent 20 years in that industry and that is not at all what I know to be true good customer service!! And I will also be canceling my Ulta card!!! Seriously! Horrific customer care! As I stated in the beginning, Imani was fabulous! But many of the rest of the employees are less than caring, less than attentive and could really use some re-education on what customer care truly is!!!

    Had an all over color and cut appointment with Angel, he was absolutely amazing he left my hair exactly like I showed him. I will definitely be making another appointment with him

    Best Ulta in the West Valley! Products are always in stock, and associates are always extremely helpful and sweet. Rebecca w/ Benefit Brow is also AMAZING! She truly takes her time and makes sure I’m satisfied with every service!

    I have been coming here for a year now and Michael is the absolute best! He always does the most Amazing job on my hair and makes sure I leave happy. I wanted to reschedule after finding out about an accident he unfortunately had, but Michael insisted we still keep my appointment for the day. Thank you for always providing such great customer service and care!

    Went in to find a new blush and get color matched and left with more then i had asked for! Dominique was so kind enough to help test a bunch of shades on me to find the right one. I could never find the right shade, and dominique told me that the foundation actually “oxidizes”. If it wasn’t for that information i would look crazy, so thank you to her for helping me and giving me so much information!

    Im disappointed because i looked at ULTA as a step up. I received a very bad cut. I did complain and they refunded my money which i apprecieate but they did not offer to help repair the bad cut. This is week 3 after and im still wearing my har up in a bun because it cant be worn any other way. I had plenty of hair and pictures of exactly what I wanted. The after care is what bothers me.
