It is a nice friendly place so the kids can unwind. They have clean restroom 🚻 for you to use while there.

I only went once here and I've never gone back. The playground area needs a light post when the sun goes down you can't see anything. Apart from that a man assulted a young boy there once after seeing that on the news just confirmed that i was never taking my child there.

Seems nice enough. The kids liked the playground. I like that there was a bathroom because some parks out here don't. The baseball diamond was nice too!

Donny Hale Park is a great place for recreation. There is a playground that contains fairly new equipment and is placed next to the softball field so adults can watch the softball games whilst keeping close to their children playing on the playground equipment. There is a covered Ramada section next to the remodeled restrooms and basketball and tennis courts to the rear south. The park has an open grass area were many pop warner organizations can be seen taking advantage of the area. Every so often the City of Avondale is known to have special events hosted at this park that is free to the community such as free popcorn and movie night.

Nice park. Only 1 field. Lots of room for the girls to warm up in the back.

Nice and clean with a good playground for the little kids.

Graffiti on playground equipment. Trash everywhere. Homeless hangout.

Only thing missing is more light on the playground for the kids! Other than that the park is great!!!

The new upgrades r awesome...they have fast soccer ⚽ courts they added my son loved it.

I still think they should've stuck with the first large metal slide I remember from the 80s! Miss the ditches too use to love watching the water flow around the park. Also before the housing development also near the park where we used to ride quads ramping over the ditch! Also maybe just change the racket courts to open view instead of removing them completely. Could've had five if you left the slide! But still amazing park. #BringtheSlideback
