Meenkunu cliff gives a very beautiful view of kannur beaches from payambalam to chaal beach. You can see payambalam on left side and ezhimala on the right side. Very windy and a spectaluar view of the sea. You have to be carefull while going at the edge of the cliff. Only very few visitors were there

Now in the monsoons time, the sea is generally rough here. Most of the strong cliff are fallen dawn to sea. There is no hand rail or other safety measures. No good road, seats, toilet or other tourist comforts here. If the concerned take up these issues, it may be a finest choice to tourists.

A place for sunsets...πŸŒ… Watching the sunset can be a great stress reliever. Research suggests that exposure to nature, especially natural light, can reduce stress and anxiety levels. Watching the sun set slowly behind the horizon can help you slow down, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature, which can help reduce your stress levels. From the cliff you can also find a narrow shortcut to the beach, where you can take long walks with your loved ones.πŸ˜‡βœ¨

Worth to visit. A different level of vibe over here. View of beach from totally different angle than other beaches in kannur. Too windy, best to visit during morning or evening hours as it would be too sunny out there.

View the sunset from a cliff. Not much of a picnic spot, just good for a casual visit for families. Most frequented by youngsters. Parking is available.

One of the beat beach in Kannur. The sunset view from the cliff is a bliss. The cliff is not well known for people outside Kannur. You can see Payyambalam and Chaal beach on the left side and Ezhimala hills on the right side. Be cautious when you go near the edges as there is no safety measures available and no safely guidelines. The beach and cliff should be properly administered and promoted for tourism development. People outside know only Varkala cliff.

Worth the visit, don’t forget to go on to t cliff after going to the beach.Beautiful sunset point and the only draw back is the smell of the rotten fish during the evening time on the beach which I guess natural.

One of the beautiful spot in Kannur district. Evenings are so awesome here. You can have a clear view of sunset from here. Through payyambalam beach road and through Kannur town - Azhikode road you can reach here. Roads are some what narrow on the way here after Meenkunnu school. Since the view is that much beautiful you can take some amazing snaps from here. And also the cliff is little bit dangerous so when you’re coming with your family take at most care of the children.

Experience a different view of beach. Get down to the beach through the rocks.

A good place to view sunset. The cliff does afford some good points to view and capture the sunset but one needs to be careful as the slops are not stable and could easily give away due to weight. The rocks below are very sharp

One of the most underrated and breath taking views in kannur πŸ€πŸ’― Though Kannur have lots of beaches, the view from here is epic. At one corner, you can enjoy the scenic mountains and at the other, you have eagle eye view of the beautiful payyambalam beach. It might be a but different for car to access the place. If you are on the bike, definitely recommend! 10/10
