Nice place to come hang out with friends and enjoy some tasty food and drinks. Their flammkuchen and cheese noodles are really good. Portions are big and prices are pretty fair. The bier garten is really chill. If you don’t mind smokers. Good, friendly service who understood my bad German but also were able to switch to English when necessary. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Parking is not easy, but there are some limited options nearby.

Nice little place with "Hammer" food. We went for breakfast, but it was 2 minutes after 12,so we could not have it, and I went for a crepe instead. We were sitting in the backyard that is also pretty and feels cosy, but there were so many wasps around us that it was impossible to enjoy your food or drink without them flying in your face. Better to go when the weather is colder and the wasps are gone! 😅

The food was excellent. I tried the classic flammkuchen but for sure I coming back to this place. Lemonades are also great. Good portions. For someone with standard hungry should be enough. The people are very gentle and speak English. They are fast, accurate and kind people. The place, at a glance, looks like a normal bar but it is not. It has a lot of tables and it is suitable for families, friends groups and even for a individual normal meal. It is somehow “dark”, but that is part of the flow. 10/10

Great food and very helpful staff. It woas our first day visiting Germany and the waitress was very helpful guiding us through the menu. Additionally the food was very delicious.

I love this place. It is cosy and the food is tasty. The portions are massive. You need to be ravenous to finish a plate of pulled porc 🐷 for example. Their Klassikkäse Flammkuchen is exquisite. They serve a Haus Limo that I take every time I visit. Finally, the staff is top.

Cozy German pub, very basic, but not in a bad way. Price-performance ratio is fantastic, the street they are located in is a tad nicer than other streets in Karlsruhe. They have high quality Flammkuchen which is the only thing that sets them apart from other pubs. General menu, friendly staff, perfect for occasional meetups with friends in the evening.

Odd place with a kind of industrial history ambience. Gets quite busy, seems to be liked by the locals. Quite a good menu though don't expect desserts. Food is quite fast and good. A bit noisy so don't try it for a date.

The restaurant is really crowded in the evenings. Meals are OK but nothing special due to the big amount of meals they have to prepare. Prices are quite low

I would go here everyday! Great price, great attention and good food. If you are touristing the city you HAVE TO eat here, you will get the right amount of typical german food the a fraction of normally cost.
