Gave this restaurant a try as it was recommended by a friend. I've decided to try something from their "Mittagstisch". Food was nice, prices were fair and staff was very friendly.

The food is delicious. The atmosphere is awesome. Perfect for a family dinner, a date, or for enjoying with your friends. Superb location. Very friendly and efficient service. The food menu is a bit short. Great collection of drinks. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I stopped in here with my boyfriend on a Sunday night for some dinner after reading the great reviews. We are seated immediately inside which had a really pretty rustic bar feel. Our order was taken quickly and there were a lot of authentic German dishes on the menu. I ordered the Schnitzel which was cooked perfectly and came with a great side of potatoes. They also had a large menu available for beers as well as some seasonal options. The pricing was very reasonable and we were able to find parking on the street outside pretty easily. I'd recommend stopping in.

A chance visit during an overnight stop off. Possibly the best liver is have eaten. And I eat a lot of liver, with a strawberry moose home made, for desert. Excellent. Very genial host (Sean). Would like to go back when the beer garden is in full swing. A great meal and good value.

Neighborhood gem, best food quality and cost benefit that I saw in Karlsruhe. Food can be served in the park in front of the restaurant and they have daily lunch menu on weekdays . Staff speak English and very friendly.

Super nice place. I don't give them 5 stars only because they have a room decorated with Piranesi engravings and it is always closed. OPEN THE PIRANESI ROOM!

Amazing food and service, it's a must restaurant to come to

I would say that it is an average restaurant, service was OK, although the waitress was a bit arrogant, maybe it was mostly because there were a lot of customers, but again... Food is tasty, but very simple - Spätzle with meat, champignons and sauce and that costs 21 euro. As I saw, other meals were also similar - very simple - meat+fries or Spätzle as a side-dish...

Good food and witty owner made this place enjoyable!
