Wonderful homestay with a lovely family. They are great cooks and served the nicest food I've had in Vietnam yet. The house itself is in a beautiful setting right next to a stream with a family of ducks. Cho is also a guide and can show you some great trekking routes around glorious Bac ha. Thank you so much guys, hope to see you again. 10/10

Chô family is a wonderful place to stay in Bac Ha. I stayed a few days there after crossing very remote locations in the north and stay with locals. During the week it’s pretty quiet, and I had the chance to discuss a lot with the family and Chô. His 11 yo son showed me the surroundings, we went on a trek together, and went to Can Cau market together. On the week ends the home stay is pretty full, despite the large amount of people, the service remains perfect. You’ll be able to have dinner and breakfast at the place. I’m really looking forward to meeting them again, I won’t ever forget this wonderful experience. Thank you 🙌🏼

It was a pleasure to spend two days with this family in Bac Ha. The Homestay is very beautiful and clean. However, it is very distant from town and taxis charge 100k vnd for one way. Ask to Cho how much he’s charging for dinner, for us quite a lot overpriced for what we get. We have been in Vietnam for over 2 weeks now so we have quite an idea on how much you may spend for food. The trekking was something crazy, we walked in the middle of plantations and forest, but we enjoyed and finally made it with nice view. We liked the Bac Ha market quite a lot.

Wow. This place is simply incredible. Mr Chô is such a kind and loving man who greeted us into his home with an open heart. He is also a great chef and made us some of the best food I've ever eaten (catering for my vegetarian friend without problem too) The location is incredible, with breathtaking views from the balcony upstairs and more rooms being built slightly up the hill with a direct line of sight to the surrounding mountains. The rooms are great with a very comfortable bed and warm wooden touches throughout. Overall I can say this is a magical place and I would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you to the Chô family.

I agree with everybody that it is a great place to stay. Friendly man with a nice family although his youngest sun can scream very loud. 🤣😅🤣😅🤣😅. We had a nice room with a very good mattrass and a warm cover in the night. His cooking is good but his prices for meals are too high. If you are on a tight budget then you better ask him the price for your meal before you say yes to let him prepare that meal. It was my mistake not to ask for the price. At the end of my review I'd like to say that the place is very LGBTQ friendly. Thank you for the lovely days Cho family.

Really nice host, Mr Cho talked of the Hmong culture a lot and gave us a warm welcome. the setting nice and quiet with a little stream beside us. Can walk into village easily. However there is some more work to do on the building extension yet to finish the surroundings.

By far the best homestay in the area : super comfortable bed, clean bathroom, beautiful patio, excellent food... Cho and his wife are really welcoming. Cho was our guide for a trek in the mountains for 4 days and was wonderful. He took great care of us. He spoke really good English!
