Very beautiful place and the boat trip really worth it, we had so much fun there. At the beginning the people of the boat will try to jack up the prices by 70% or even 100% It’s not nice, but I also understand we came in a very bad season for the tourism and economy too.

The most famous spot for Beirut sightseeing. Nice to visit the spot twice, at the morning and at the night. It is kinda near to el hamra, few minutes a walk.

From geological era a sedimentary Rock stone is protruding from the shore in Beirut seaside and is a great attraction for the visitors. The sea has eroded the rock over a long period to expose pattern of the layers in sandstone.

It’s beautiful there. It’s something that is unique to the area. The only issue is that people are throwing trash on the street and Clift area around it. I wish it was maintained everyday to prevent this beautiful place from being tarnished.

(Translated by Google) The Pigeon Rock is one of the major tourist attractions in Beirut, and one of the most famous monuments in Lebanon in general It consists of two huge rocks, one of which is larger than the second, and the big one is the hollow rock from the bottom, and its height is approximately 70 meters, and the height of the second small rock is about 25 meters .... It was affected by the weathering factors that were exposed to it over time, which led to its pointy shape.

One of Lebanese landmarks, also known as Pigeon Rocks. It’s a place of legendary love story in a mixed religions society. The Lebanese version of Romeo & Juliette ❤️💔 Enjoy afternoon stroll or coffee, a sunset dinner, or just a few beautiful pictures/selfies.

Nestled along the vibrant coast of Beirut, Raouche Rocks stands as a mesmerizing natural wonder. With its iconic rock formations jutting out of the azure Mediterranean Sea, it has become an emblematic symbol of the city. Having recently visited Raouche Rocks, I am thrilled to share my awe-inspiring experience and invite you to explore this breathtaking attraction. Spectacular Natural Beauty: Raouche Rocks is a testament to the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. As I stood on the promenade, gazing at the majestic limestone rocks rising from the sea, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and appreciation. The striking formations, known as the Pigeon Rocks, are a marvel to behold. Their towering presence against the backdrop of the endless blue sea is truly a sight to behold and a photographer's dream. Picturesque Promenade: The promenade that lines the coast near Raouche Rocks offers a perfect vantage point to soak in the splendor of this natural wonder. As I took a leisurely stroll along the palm-lined path, I was mesmerized by the panoramic views. The fresh sea breeze caressed my face, and the sound of crashing waves provided a serene soundtrack to my exploration. The promenade is well-maintained and offers several seating areas, inviting visitors to sit and immerse themselves in the tranquility of the surroundings. Cafes and Restaurants with a View: One of the highlights of visiting Raouche Rocks is the opportunity to dine or enjoy a cup of coffee at one of the many cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea. These establishments offer a perfect blend of culinary delights and stunning vistas. Whether it's savoring traditional Lebanese cuisine or indulging in international flavors, the experience of dining with the Pigeon Rocks as a backdrop is simply unforgettable. The ambiance is relaxed, and the friendly staff ensures a pleasant dining experience. Boat Tours and Cruises: For those looking to get even closer to the rocks and explore the surrounding waters, boat tours and cruises are readily available. These excursions provide a unique perspective of Raouche Rocks, allowing you to witness their grandeur up close. Cruising along the coastline, you can marvel at the intricate details of the rock formations and witness the sea's power shaping the cliffs over time. It's a thrilling and adventurous experience that adds another dimension to your visit. Conclusion: Raouche Rocks Beirut is a natural masterpiece that leaves visitors in awe of its timeless beauty. With its striking limestone formations, picturesque promenade, and delightful dining options, it offers a captivating experience for locals and tourists alike. Whether you choose to admire the rocks from the shore, embark on a boat tour, or savor a meal with a view, you are sure to be enchanted by the sheer magnificence of this natural wonder. I highly recommend a visit to Raouche Rocks Beirut to witness nature's artistry and create unforgettable memories.

Beautiful natural rock formation visible from the sidewalk on Raouche street in Lebanon. Really popular thing to do is go to one of the restaurants nearby and have a beer 🍺 or hookah 💨 seated in a patio overlooking the rock. Here are a couple of pictures I took of the rocks including one from the air before landing art Beirut airport.

Free - lovely place to visit and to sit by the sea. Watch fishing and see people having picnics and bbq’s. I saw the biggest sea turtle in my whole life- it looked to be over 150 years old. Amazing!

Alrawsha Rock in Beirut is a geological marvel, standing tall with rugged elegance against the cityscape. Its ancient limestone facade narrates a story of time, shaped by nature's artistry. Locals cherish it as a symbol of resilience, a stoic witness to the city's evolving narrative. At sunset, the warm hues of the rock complement the city lights, providing a breathtaking backdrop for contemplation and connection with Beirut's geological and cultural roots.

It is the main landmark in Beirut. We really enjoyed the weather there and the kids were playing around. It is a perfect place for taking photos. It is a central location for restaurants cafes and fast food shops. I would absolutely recommended to my friends and relatives. It is just spectacular.

It's tourist as no other place in Beirut, but still worth it. We took a walk from the Hamla area which was almost all downhill. As you walk towards the belvedere, the street is lined up with overpriced restaurants offering great views, but be mindful of the tables offered. You will likely not get the best ones if you don't know the right people. If you are fit enough the walk to the waterfront is not that hard and offer great views. To the left of the rocks you have many tidal pools for kids and adults to enjoy. It may be a good idea to have your water shoes with you cause the rocks at the bottom of the pools are sharp. Perfect spot for a weekend morning splash.

Raouche or rawsheh as the Lebanese call them, are indeed very beautiful rocks . They are located on the Northside of Beirut on the corniche road . You can either view them from above or take a boat and go through them, Make sure to visit the area around sunset the view there would be spectacular by then!

My question was: how do I get there? Okay, so, basically there is a very long walkway on Paris Avenue that you can start from the Corniche all the way after the Raouche Rocks. It is a beautiful walk and it is pleasant and relaxing as you can see the ocean all the way from the beginning. Once you get there, there is a lookout for you to take pics and observe the rock formations.

The area adjacent to Raouché, called 'Dalieh', is presently in the process of being sold to real-estate developers. A campaign was started early 2014 against the privatization of Raouché and the adjacent area-called al-Dalieh-which was initially titled "The last that remains".

If you feel like having a walk in Beirut, with a sea view, consider going to Raouche surroundings. This site is well known in Lebanon, you can enjoy your time by yourself or with friends. The view and the waves' sound are very soothing and calming, reason why I would recommend it. You can also chill at a nearby coffeeshop that overlooks the rock, while sipping your coffee.

Pigeon Rock is a sentinel of the sea, standing guard over the coast of Beirut. Its weathered face has seen centuries of storms and waves, and its craggy form is a testament to the power of nature. The rock is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Visitors come to admire its beauty, to take in the stunning views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea, and to enjoy the fresh sea air. Pigeon Rock is also a popular spot for boat trips. Visitors can take a boat around the rock and get a closer look at its unique formations. They can also see the dolphins that often swim in the area. In the early morning hours, the rock is often shrouded in mist. This creates a magical atmosphere, and it is not uncommon to see the sun rise over the city and the sea. The rock is said to have been formed by erosion over millions of years. It is made of limestone, which is a soft rock that is easily eroded by water. The rock is constantly changing shape, and it is said that it will eventually collapse into the sea. Despite its fragile nature, Pigeon Rock is a popular tourist destination. It is a symbol of Beirut and a reminder of the city's resilience.

One of the most famous historical locations in Lebanon.. A must to see place.. you can see the greatness of the see holding the huge rocks. You can take a ride in and go inside the huge rocks, they have a small caves that they are open at both ends. We were disappointed because how dirty the place is and the prices of the snacks are high too.

Don't be above a steep downhill walk to the family business of collecting money for the voyage. Mind the old tires, garbage, and the massive concrete breakwater thingies. I had trepidation at the free range chickens, cats and all the rifles leaning up against the beer cooler, but was quickly put at ease with the paltry cost of their 15 year old son, and beer, to take us out on their boat excursion. I highly recommend beer, their son and the boat tour.
