It's tourist as no other place in Beirut, but still worth it. We took a walk from the Hamla area which was almost all downhill. As you walk towards the belvedere, the street is lined up with overpriced restaurants offering great views, but be mindful of the tables offered. You will likely not get the best ones if you don't know the right people. If you are fit enough the walk to the waterfront is not that hard and offer great views. To the left of the rocks you have many tidal pools for kids and adults to enjoy. It may be a good idea to have your water shoes with you cause the rocks at the bottom of the pools are sharp. Perfect spot for a weekend morning splash.

Nice place to take pictures. Its a very touristic place with a lot of beggars. Spent 5 minutes to take a couple of photos and left as it was too hot and a lot of beggars around asking persistently for money.

The rocks are really interesting as it can be seen in photos, but it is sad to see the area is not well preserved... so many trashes everywhere.
