Good weekend destination not far from Jakarta. It’s not too crowded during fasting month. Of course it's better when you're not the only tourist there. The place have too many people trying to get money from travellers. The road are not well maintained. The path to waterfall felt like slums. This place really need a better management. I hope people in the area understand that there are better ways for people to able to enjoy the nature and there are better ways to earn money for upkeeping. It's not a residential area that we, travellers, come and give free money to people who live illegally/squatting/wondering on the area. There are better ways to earn a living. And let others enjoy the mother nature.

If you go in the weekend, better to early morning and please avoid visit during 10:00 AM-02:00 PM unless you get stuck in your car.

Beautiful waterfall located in the middle of nowhere. Took some effort to get there. Can get quite crowded especially on weekends. No restaurant on site except some small noodle stalls so don't expect nothing fancy. The site itself has several points of interest so make your research before going. Bring a hiking post if you plan to hike all the way up to the top. And also bathing suit if you plan to take a dip in one of the waterfalls. If you're travelling in a group it's better to park on the lower side of the hill and rent a open trunk truck (available on site) as the road uphill is narrow and steep. Overall a great experience.

Nice beautiful place to zoned out from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nice tracking up stream, although the waterfall itself is not that majestic. Prety clean although some stupid people still littered and left mineral water bottles here and there.

This weekend, me and my son go for trekking with collegues to Curug Leuwi Hejo. There are several route to get here, and we took the longest route. We are so excited to taking this route because lots of beatiful view with definetely fresh air. We happy to play in the water that was so cold. I think in the future, we delighted to come here again and we very recommended to people to come here and feel the exited adventure.

Not much of a hike, especially if you go through the main entrance, park there (parking fee of IDR 15k) and walk a little inside, the forest department will charge another IDR 20k, it's less than a mile to and fro from the exact waterfall in the image. But if you do choose to venture inside, you can walk to other waterfalls (around 6 of them within 3 or so kilometers). If you follow the posted signboards there would be a member of the forestry department waiting to take an entrance fee for each of the waterfalls mentioned, but if you have invested in a guide (IDR 100k-300k/group depending on the number of people in the group), they know ways to go to those places without having to end up in front of the guards. Anyway, the most dangerous part is simply just getting to the main entrance. The road uphill is very curved and steep and the roads can only fit two vehicles in a very tight space so if you aren't sure about your driving skills, maybe take a grab or sign with a tour group nearby so that they can handle the travelling. Towards the last one kilometre it actually turns into a one way with some elevation so yes, this is important. The waterfall by itself isn't that special to look at, but do decide to step in, the blue waterfall and rock formations will give you a nice chill. Everyone comes here to swim anyway so pack a lil sling bag with your extra clothes to change into and a towel if you'd like. There are a lot of toilets nearby which charge 3k per entry so don't worry about changing and all. There's also a picturesque restaurant on the way out which is great for a bite afterwards.

Nice place to spend weekend or for refreshing, there's some other destination near this location too. My advice, come to this place in the morning (around 7/8 am) , the road heading to this location is relatively narrow and may occur traffic jam...

The water is still very clear, however, during the trek you’ll occasionally see small pieces of trash cos there isn’t a lot of garbage bin around (please provide it whoever runs the management). I went there around 7:30am on Saturday, it wasnt that crowded. However after 9:30am it looked like a jungle of humans. In which none of them were wearing any mask as you can see in the pictures.

Nice curug, they have a gated compound which is new, years ago when I went, it wasnt there. You have to pay entrace fee and parking fee, and entering the curug you have to pay again.
