A surprisingly good find! Casual in style ( we had the screaming child one table over) but wonderful service, DELICIOUS food that was interesting a very reasonably priced. Family style works so well to share and enjoy! Highly recommend!!

Cockroaches! Happened last December..a group of girls got together for a Christmas dinner and low and behold a cockroach walked across our tablecloth. We each could not believe our eyes...so we waited. The food was served and on the wall behind me was another then another cockroach. We called the waiter (as we didn't want to scream and upset the entire restaurant) and the waiter's response was " that happens in restaurants, we are very busy and there is a lot of food around"!!!! I have not been back since and would never go back....I attempted to talk to an owner bue "he was not around". Stay away...unless you like cocroaches.

Greg our waiter was a pleasure the entire night serving us. He is a kind gentleman and it is clearly evident that he loves what he does. I highly recommend coming down to La Famiglia. It is a wonderful family oriented restaurant. Thank you so much for the wonderful night. We definitely will be coming back again soon.

The Italian food is excellent! The service was just as excellent and the atmosphere was good, definitely worth trying, This is a family style restaurant and the regular entrees can be prepared for a single person. If you go ask the waiter for the specials, can't wait to return.

We eat at La Famiglia several time a year, and the food is always good and Rosario is always helpful. This past weekend was no exception, but the service was noticeably different. Both the salad and the large anti-pasta tray were put on the table when they normally serve the first helping, but most of all, water periodically dripped from the AC vent or something else in the ceiling onto us and our food. We let the waiter know, and his reaction was a shrug of his shoulders. I admit it was not a constant drip, and we were not looking for anything in the form of a discount or something, but 6 drops during a meal onto someone, or a couple of drips onto food, should have been enough for the waiter to do more than shrug his shoulders.

Fantastic place! What a beautiful meal. I was there for a funeral repass. They did such a wonderful family style meal.

People rave about this place. To me the food was not the best. I had fish and the baked clams. ALL over cooked. The fish was not cooked well, it had no taste. The stuffed clams were too dry to eat.

We came here today after a funeral for a deer friends family. There was about 35 of us. Service was amazing. The food was even more amazing. I wished I lived closer because I would visit often. The caesar salad was the beat I have ever had. Chicken Marsala was so delicious along with the perfectly cooked vegetables. The family style pasta on the table was perfection! The servers and entire staff certainly busted their rears to work that room. Thank you and my belly is very happy!

Top notch service from an outstanding wait staff! Food was unbelievable with generous portions. The best stuffed mushrooms ever, can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu. Great atmosphere for any occasion, party or romantic date

We recently had an bridal affair at this location. Mr.Rosario reassured he could accommodate gluten free allergies because their restaurant normally can cook items gluten free. However, on the day of the affair, none of our guests could order any of the items we had picked for the events menu gluten free. When we asked Mr.Rosario about it, he was able to make the brides meal gluten free, but the other guests were out of luck. We had originally been told gluten free would not be an issue for any of our guests. We never were  would have booked here because we had a lot of gluten-free guests. It was pretty upsetting. Our party was over at 5pm, and at 5:01 there were people waiting for dinner reservations and the restaurant began to move tables to flip the room. We were ushered out of the restaurant and didn't have a chance to say good bye to our guests because we were so busy trying to clean up at the same time. It felt very unprofessional and was let down after what would have a nice event.

I celebrated my Uncle's 80th birthday here recently in their party room. The service was exceptional! The food was awesome and there was plenty of free parking. Some items from the fixed menu were served family style which I feel promotes togetherness and socialization. It's not a huge place, yet is organized in such a way to maximize seating without compromising comfort. My cousins visit here often since they live locally and say they will continue to frequent this great Italian restaurant!

We hosted a baptism party at La Famiglia and WOW! The food was delicious, (highly recommend the stuff rigatoni… FAN FAVORITE!) the staff was so nice and helpful, and the restaurant was laid out so nicely to accommodate nearly 70 people. We even had people comment how clean the bathrooms were! If you want to host an amazing event, it’s La Famiglia all the way. Thank you Rosario and team!

I love this place. Everyone is so friendly. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. They have a party room upstairs where I celebrated with family and friends. Everything was perfect.

Food was absolutely delicious. The service impeccable. You were not rushed through your courses. The atmosphere was very hospitable.

I was here 5 years ago for mothers birthday. Then returned in August for dinner and the food was not up to par ! Everything we ordered was just not the same... the waiter was great..atmosphere was fine but the food was so..so.. I don't think we will be back again

We had dinner, Family Style for a group of 16. Excellent service, the meal was great. You should consider a party or just a great night out for dinner. A wonderful choice.

Celebrating our son’s birthday with the whole family and what better a place to do that then La Famiglia! Food was delicious and abundant. Service was excellent! Can’t wait to come back.

Food and wait staff were wonderful. The reason for the poor service it took 2 hours from the time we got our appetizer to we got our main course. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and left at 10:00 p.m. .

Food absolutely amazing, portions perfect. All ingredients fresh and high quality. My compliments to the Chef. We got baked clams which were excellent, Giovanni salad which was a perfect size , and the special was bracioli on top of rigatoni, which was just like my moms Sunday dinner! Our waiter Tyler was polite, courteous, cordial, knowledgeable, and very attentive. This place is worth every penny for quality authentic Italian food!

Our friends son is a cast member of Rock of Ages currently showing, between shows with no reservation we were squeezed in, absofreakinlutely spectacular is all I can say

What a disappointment. I referred my brother here for his 60th birthday celebration. The food was good, but unfortunately the owner Rosario is horrible to work with. He was difficult to get a hold of and communicate with leading up to the event. Then he was running our event in the party room, from the restaurant downstairs, not paying any attention, as to how the event was going. They were short staffed, guests waited for water, silverware, etc.. Rosario refused to serve the occasion cake we brought, when we asked for it, so half of our guests left without ever getting dessert. Not only would Rosario not get the cake when we asked, several times, he was rude and extremely unprofessional. If you want a nice event, I advise you to go elsewhere. We will not be returning. Hot antipasto came out and it was truly family style enough of everything for everyone..then our meal came out we ordered ravioli their was two for each of us. The lamb was tasty but only 5 ribs for 4 of us ...not family style at all. good thing we had the antipasto or we would of left hungry the bus boys kept trying to take our dishes and we were not done eatting they must of come to the table 5 times the two waiters were amazing..

Food was amazing !!!! Specials delicious. We ate at the bar. The barmaid Annalise was awesome our drinks were delightful . The manager went above and beyond, he even called his wife to ask about a recipe I was asking about . A true gem of a place . We will be back soon

We had difficulty ordering a vegan plate for someone in our party, and the person in our party felt embarrassed. We had been to this restaurant previously with same party and the restaurant was more accommodating during that visit. The food was excellent.

We Came to the Babylon location for the first time on September 15. The atmosphere is very cozy yet Spacious dining room, Staff and servers excellent , We did not have to ask for anything, everything was there as it should be, all our needs were anticipated ( It is very annoying to have to constantly ask the server for extra napkins, cheese, or water refills etc) The food was very good , we had the clam appetizer which I enjoyed, then the chicken Sorrentino and the pasta chicken special that night ( both yummy!) -there was such a good amount of food that we we took home the leftovers and we ate dinner the following night also, … even without considering that we made two meals of it the prices were reasonable We will definitely come back Thank you for making my birthday dinner nice

First I'd like to say I've dined,ordered and catered from this place for the past 9 years. There's only been a few times where I could say they've had an off day. Overall the good typically outweighed the bad. Unfortunately last night I was there with a party of 13 and no one could get past the bad. From the reservations to the service there were complaints. My assumption is they were short staffed and they possibly had a dinner rush, but some transparency would go a long way. After our meals were put on the table there was no one to be found ,no follow-up to make sure everything was correct or ask if anything was needed..nothing. Took about 10 minutes of waiting until we had to search for someone to get us parmessean cheese. I found a fruit fly in my wine and I didnt notice until it was too late. Didnt want to make a big deal so I asked for another. That second glass never came. Mentioned it to the waiter later which he was apologetic about not getting the second wine,but basically laughed about the fruit fly and walked away. Clearly he had a lot going on so I get it..kinda. Also not sure why the owner avoided us at all costs,but it was extremely noticeable. Hospitality is what always brought us back there. Not sure what happened last night.

Had an excellent experience here for our rehearsal dinner on 1/28/22! Rosario was wonderfully accommodating and the private upstairs room for our party was perfect. Private, bathrooms upstairs for convenience of older guests, service was great and the food was delicious! Menu options and pricing were great as well. Thank you to Rosario and all of the staff at La Famiglia for helping us celebrate this special occasion!

Delicious food. Very large portions. Always go home with a doggy bag.

Haven't been back here since I moved to Florida....it was like I never left....The food was AMAZING!!!! The staff is so welcoming and helpful..My Family was celebrating my Mom's 80th birthday and she was so happy that we brought her there .. Can't wait to go back here!!!!!!

This was my first experience and not my last with my wife just would like to share my recent experience with new commers to this resturant well priced be prepared to wait have a drink at the bar and wait to be seated from the time our waiters Tyler and Greg attended to use the overall experience was fantastic and I look forward to coming again thank you.

Great menu, service, and quality! Also very reasonable. For us, better than La Parma and some of the other well know family styl Italian eateries on LI!

5 stars for the atmosphere(very nice and cozy) and 5 stars for the service(excellent) , but only 3 for the food... linguini and clam sauce was tasty but clams were tough, shrimp la famiglia also tasty but shrimp were hard, pork braciol was over stuffed, but did not look appetizing, and not tasty at all. Oh the fried zucchini was great, but that would be the last thing I would want to be good... I'm a critical foodie sorry.
