Large restaurant in Bocolod with about 50 tables. Restaurant was about 75% full on Tuesday night. We were seated immediately. Service was very prompt and all the staff was very attentive. Portions are very large with some being family style. Wide range of Filipino and Non-Filipino dishes. For a large restaurant, food was surprisingly fresh, but served in a reasonable time. All the dishes were very good and flavorful. Very large menu and a Mongolian BBQ option in the center of the restaurant. Spam Monte Cristo sounded unique and probably my favorite item, then the lumpia. Fruit punch was really good as was full of fresh fruit.

Their "burnt" basque cheesecake is sooooo good! Also love their pecan pie, sometimes pili pie is available and we'd get that instead. Great great cakes and pastries always.

Sthe only reason this restaurant did not get only 1 start is because the waiter was friendly and engaging. The food was average, serving size was less than what i expected compared to what we paid. The most disappointing pard was the place that looks like an they never gave a single cent of care to maintain it.

Bacolod City is Bobs country. Being in the food industry since 50 years ago or so, Bacolodnons will go to Bobs first than anywhere else. Not just it but bec Bacolodnons are clannish and would eat at their most convenient local resto where the waiters call them inday or toto, part of our negrosanon culture of having the distant distinction of ama and sakada. (Google it further) as to food, there is no ugly food here, everything is palatably good, fit to our taste. If you are coming to Bacolod transient or not, dont miss Bobs accross Riverside hospital and its other branches like Robinsons Place Mandalagan, SM City or Lopues East.

I went to their Lacson Street cafe first but no breads available yet at 9AM, only cakes and coffee. It will be delivered by 11AM. So they suggested I go to their other branch. I'm not sure with the exact address but it's just a 2 minute walk from the first one I went to. There their newly baked breads are available but very few selection of coffee. I got mocha instead and their cheesy garlic bread which was a bomb. Mocha is sweet as it is don't add sugar. Connected is their restaurant with lots of food offered on the menu. I love the place. I was having a good impression. Except for the women who serve in the cafe. Medyo mataray for my liking, or for everyone's liking. But I want to give them a benefit of the doubt. All in all, a 4 for me. Also, if you find tatay selling fruits in the parking lot, please buy from his produce. He's selling bayabas, patatas, and papaya. I bought a huge guava and it didn't disappoint 😊

Fruit punch is popular & made with no powdery stuff. It is all natural. Came here for breakfast and we were satisfied. Some tables had burgers in their plates & would like to come back to try their other dishes. Will go back here!

Frankly, the aesthetics of the place isn’t what I was expecting. I understand it’s almost always on the must-try restaurant lists, but then it’s a must-try not because of the place, but because of the food. I ordered dinuguan, salad, chicken wings, and halo-halo—and much to my delight, everything’s delectable! I was also impressed by the kindness of the crew.

Located in front of Riverside hospital which is very accessible. The place and customer service is good. The parking space is quite limited. The food is tasty and it offers a wide range of dishes. My son especially loves their blueberry waffles and I love their grilled cheeseburger. You just have to be a little patient since it will take a couple of minutes for them to prepare your food and your bill :) Prices are just reasonable. Though their halo-halo special is not as par as Kuya J's, I am still giving them 5 stars for a lot of reasons. They have their inside pastry shop which I really love since I have sweet tooth so for those who loves to just hang out with friends and families, I really recommend the place. It's also perfect for small meetings. Their rest rooms are not big enough but it's clean.

You'll gonna waste your money here if you'll buy their Lechon Macau. Hard to chew (like a rubber)! I have to cut it into a very very small pieces so I can eat it. The taste is so bland. It's like they've just bought a meat somewhere else, put it into a pan with cooking oil and that's it. Plus their dining table, need to be fixed! Better eat somewhere else cheaper and better.

One of the best restaurants EVER in Bacolod. Delicious food and AWESOME salmon teriyaki. An American-inspired restaurant but Filipino to the max!!!

If I was just reading the bakery, it would be a solid five. Had lunch here today and it was certainly good but not quite a five. The restaurant in Bacolod is definitely worth stopping at also.

Food has always been consistent here. We had breakfast this time and it left us happy. The staff are so warm and friendly. Try the fruit punch when you’re here :)

  • 5/5 Bob M. 4 months ago on Google
We had a good time eating here. Same with the service. The Lumpia was delicious. The chicken asparagus soup was good with tender pieces of white meat chicken. We ate so much that we took the salad home with us. The blackened fish was dry and boney. Otherwise, we were well satisfied.

Been sitting on the table for more than half an hour but no waiter care to come (I'm comfortable wearing slippers). I went near the cashier to ask for a menu book. A non waiter woman later came to ask if someone took my order, i said none. She took my order that came almost 30 minutes later. I almost done my batchoy when the waiter came bringing my tab/check. I love and frequent this place being near my school when I was in college 50 years ago.

Been there today, as my Dad's fav resto, I opt to have lunch in there today. I felt so disappointed, of all that I have ordered, I only like the fruit punch. I have dined at Bob's so many times. Thier chicken barb-q and fried isol, taste nothing. Coleslaw is too much mayo, I taste only the pineapple slice. I hate to do this but I was too much disappointed.

It's been our go to resto b4 when we were in college way back 1992-96 since it's just across Riverside Hospital. And now, coming back to bacolod after a while, I was surprised that it has expanded and the variety of food choices in their menus. We tried the new ones and were so happy and satisfied 🥰

It's been 18 yrs since we went to Bacalod. It's our first time at Bob's and The Foods here are sooo good + service. Also, they open early (7:30am). For early byaheros, this is a must for breakfast 👌. Their menu is not limited to breakfast options, you can order pretty much everything on their menu. Overall, somewhere I would dine again when I get back to Bacolod.

They serve you tap water which is weird considering their price range. Service was mediocre I was left there raising my hand for a good minute. I would suggest going to their cafe as their croissants are amazing.

  • 5/5 MR M. 1 year ago on Google
Bob's should be your go to if you have memories of home cooked dishes or specialty dishes of your relatives which you only get to taste during family reunions. Callos, lengua estofado and chicken sate are a must try! There's a bit of a wait during peak hours but it helps build your appetite. 😀

Good meal. Came here because heard a lot about the place. Food was decent. A bit pricy (spent 400 per person) but nothing to complain about. My favorite is the sate babe.

Best burger I can ever recall having. I don't know if I was just hungry or what, but it was delicious. The bun was very good and the contents of the burger did not fall out when I bit into it. There was sa perfect amount of ingredients, and I added some ketchup Tommy burger and the tangy taste really helped tie it all together. I got the cheeseburger, regular size. It was the perfect amount for me. I was a bit disappointed they didn't offer another size for the bacon cheese burger (I love bacon) but the burger without the bacon is really good anyway. Maybe I'll get the bacon cheeseburger next time if I come with someone else who can help me finish it.

Good food but the service I think they must re-orient the waiters since they must've forgotten what the other factor aside from the food why customers keep on going back to this restaurant

Since 1965, the quality of their food and service brings comfort to ilonggos. This is where you will find the old rich residents of Bacolod enjoy their bottomless coffee, their famous fruit punch, delectable food and desserts.

One of the must-visit dining place in Bacolod City. My personal favorite would be the Sate Babe paired with their famous Fruit Punch. Established since 1965, you could tell why/how the restaurant fluorished all these years, from the undeniably savory, tasty food to great customer service. 👌🏼

My partner loved the baby back ribs. It was awesome. BUT the service of the crew was poor and the restaurant itself needs some serious renovation. Specially the door going to the kitchen and the crew was running around without paying atte attention to the customers.
