Terrible hotel experience, rooms are way overpriced, payed so much and there was no wifi, no towels (need to pay extra for towels) no mini bar and no blankets, only one little sheet for two people to share. No restaurants! The only option is to order room service but they close at 7:00 pm so you stay hungry all night. The staff is unorganized and unprofessional. And you need to pay extra to enter the resort, so the hot springs are NOT included in the room price. And we were charged another wired resort fee, just felt like they were milking us for everything they could. Hot springs are amazing and beautiful but that’s the only good thing about the place. Better to just come for the day and NOT stay overnight.

Was a great experience. We went to their dip pool. The water is really hot at first and you can smell the sulfur from but not bad when you get use to it. Me and my friends are able to visit the 6 waterfalls.

My family had a good time. Me, I didn’t get to see anything. I tried to contact them for 2 weeks to check if we could get a cabin to sped the night. No one would answer their phone. When we got there, there was over rowing, no secure place to park and no security for parked vehicles. So I had to stay with the car while everyone else went to have fun. The staff at the location was less than helpful. They didn’t seem to care that we traveled there at a pretty good cost, since there was a lot of people in our group.

2018 Amazing place, quite, just bring your food and soft drinks with you and enjoy BBQ. 2019 The place is same, there is a lot of visitors coming here but the room the same no change. There is no TV 📺. there is no refrigerator. even water heater for shower 🚿 is not working at all in all rooms, the water is cold. Most of air conditioning is old need new one for the comfort of the visitors. I think this resort need also supermarket or 7/11. For the spa is really good staff and they knows what to do There is fully body massage. There is foot care and there is stone massage, really amazing and must do massage every time you come here, really you are going to enjoy. For hot spring pool really amazing, and after hot spring do Immediately massage. It's just 10 steps away.

Well, fare from Bacolod going to Mambukal is cheaper than I thought. Entrance fees are given, however, I sometimes don't get it why those who book an overnight stay still have to pay an entrance fee — I mean unless you just go there to visit and not really intend to stay overnight then perhaps the entrance fee. Anyhow, PHP 30 lang din nmn ang entrance. LOL. One more thing, you can bring food there, whether overnight or dayuse. It was also raining on our stay there (just a light rain), so it added more coziness and peacefulness to the place. I lurvve it. P.S — Mambukal is truly a break away from the busy city life, and be reconnected with nature once again, so highly recommend the place for some wellness recharge! ❤👌

A nice holiday resort based on a natural phenomena that is hot water springs coming from deep underground caves warmed by the volcano on a safe distance. There are different hot water pools to relax even a sulphur pool. I didn't like the smell of it but it is one of the phenomenons. There are different lodging facilities and a hotel. Also a spa. Different nice excursions to the 7 falls.....

Service is quite slow and cluttered. Could definitely be improved. When you pay you have to go to the main capitol building. And the employees of the booking office needs to get a hold of the flow in booking.

Very hassle and alow paced service for reservation. Accounting is far and needs for a runner. Poor service. Needs to pay here not on site

The room was fine, but the resort itself was not great. We stayed here in December and most things were closed (zip line, boat pond, climbing wall) everything else was open, but you have to pay a little to get in. But the most annoying thing is that you are not allowed to go up to the waterfalls by yourself, even though apparently the path is easy to follow. 'management' has decided that you have to take a guide with you up there. Apparently they don't trust us to keep to the rules or someone has spoiled it for the rest of us. Shame! Food options were not great, but adequate. If you're a vegetarian, bring supplies! By the way, we went there by bus from Bacolod - Libertad bus station and back. It's a slow ride (especially on the WY back when they are trying to fill up the bus but perfectly fine!

A perfect place for barkada, couple and family summer vacation because of cool place, has a lot of things to do. It has two big swimming pool. You can also do a trekking to water falls. Witness a tree that full of bats during day time. See an exotic flowers which you can purchase if you like. Nice foods. Lots of activity like zip line, boating, off course swimming and more.

The place is okay. Make sure to book days ahead if you want to stay overnight. The pools are crowded so that's not okay for me and one place smelled like sewer so that's another star gone.

This place is impressive for they have a lot of stuff going around it. When we got here I didn't expect something like bats are in here and several tourist attractions that we experienced. I only thought it is a good public pool that we can go and swim on. But there are a lot of things you will see here. There are also rivers and high valleys that you will go through. It is a fantastic place for a vacation. But my favourite part of this place is the ofuru or the hot spring that is sulfur. I only had seen those stuff exist on anime, and trying to bathe on it is great. But, as a first timer it is quite hard to bare and stay at because the water is so hot, so you had to cool down first before going in the hot spring. An so yeah there are a lot more things that you will see here and I highly recommend people to go here.

The resort offers a wide range of activities such as swimming, camping, trekking, zip-lining, and boating. Visitors can also enjoy the natural sulfur hot springs and mud pools which are believed to have therapeutic benefits. Apart from the natural attractions, the resort also features various accommodations, restaurants, and souvenir shops for visitors to enjoy. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the stay at the resort a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Overall, Mambukal Mountain Resort is an excellent choice for tourists looking for a unique outdoor experience in the Philippines.

Was very hesitant to go here as I'm not a fan of publicly accessed pools. But I do love hot springs and there isn't really much to do around Bacolod. Came as early as we can as we went on a Saturday and I did expect for crowd eventually. One of the kuya was helpful enough to show which pool came with the entrance and showed which had extra payment. Of course we went for the Japanese dipping pool cause it was only an extra 100php and that time there was no one else. We were lucky enough to have it to ourselves for at least 45mins before others started picking up that it was better than the public access one. We left soon after. Do note that there is a shower area in it but shampoo, wash etc. Its all bring your own. And shower water is cold. @trina.rxs

Nice place to visit. We went just for lunch. Rained rained rained. We sat overlooking the river. This is a sulfur springs resort so you have to smell it. Lol. Food was ok, nothing special. Didn't stay at the hotel. You must call before you go!

Entrance fee was really affordable I think 20 pesos or 50 php for each pool and sulfur hot spring you have to pay 50 pesos for the entrance fee . They are variety of activities to choose from boating, visit the butterfly garden, camping overnight, trekking and visit the 7 falls . Mura lang yung entrance fee maximum amount will be 50 pesos .Swak sa budget .

Coming from America to find a Relaxing resort. Great trail with guides for safty. Go all the way to the top thats where the prize awaits. True beauty. The species of Bats hanging in the trees is an educational sight to see! Great destination! I would return many times.

It just is different. Not very luxury, but very comfortable. But that is not why we go there regularly. It's because of the great nature. And it's because the people working there have their own 'business' there. Whether the guides, the flower sales people or the restaurants. Very empowering. And then there is more nature. Thousands of bats in the trees, birds and trees. And when you're tired, there are the warm sulphur baths and the massage. What makes it more pleasing is that the governor has developed it 'for the people', so not commercial but with conservation as the main driver. Very sympathetic. Even if the booking process is often difficult for outsiders: do it... worth the effort.
