Truly budget hotel with rooms comparable to 4 star hotels. Has cable TV and wifi in everyroom. Free breakfast for all guests. The best of all it is located at the heart of Bacolod City.

Stayed here for four days and three nights during our Bacolod trip for a rather 'cheap' getaway. They offer free breakfast which is a good fix before leaving for your itinerary. Room itself is good. For its price, it's actually better than some accommodations we had in the past few months! Air-conditioning is good; cabinetry, safe, television, hairdryer, ample toiletries. Hope they can provide slippers though. The only issue we had with our room is the water supply. Water is relatively weak (perhaps our unit location has something to do with the problem). Service overall is very good, all staff are very accommodating. We really appreciate them allowing us to leave our belongings after we checked out, and picking them again towards end of the day. This move is inevitable if you are a tourist visiting with no car and carry lots of stuff (but we don't recommend this). So guys, go rent a car. There's still a parking space up front. The hotel is located on downtown Bacolod. There are trade-off's but I think the advantages outweigh the drawbacks. The place is quite peaceful at dusk since it's far from the chaotic town 'center'. Also one good point is that this hotel is near the 'manokan' and SM City. The establishment however, already shows its age. Hope the owner renovate parts of the hotel to prevent age advancement. I recommend this hotel to young travellers so you can spend your hard-earned money to good food, travel/gas expense, tourist destinations, etc rather than booking on a 'high-end' hotel in the uptown Bacolod. This hotel has the basics, and we travellers only need the basics.

Not as nice as I remember before but still a good place to stay. Price is fairly ok for the location but I hope they continue to maintain things and improve quality of their rooms. Our TV screen was very dark and couldn't barely watch, there was a lot of paint falling off in CR and just general maintenance issues that you wouldn't really expect for this price point. But it was very nice to have a breakfast included. Will certainly stay here again, hope they keep it looking nice.

Excellent location within the downtown, within walking distance from major food and heritage spots and a very comfortable bed + pillows! Didn't hear any karaoke during our stay and found the area relatively quiet. Plus points for towels, toiletries, bottled water, individual WIFI connection per room, humble daily breakfast buffet, AC and hot and cold shower. Also appreciated the cabinet and hangers for our clothes and ample space. Bit of rusty taste in the tap water and the place is a bit run down/dated, but over-all good experience. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to the city! Tip: Bring your own slippers!

Simple hotel with homestyle buffet breakfast for unfussy travelers on a budget. Booked their Queen room for Php1,600 per night, booking can only be done via phone call or text. - comfortable bed with 4 thick pillows, plus throw pillows for both bed and sofa - room will have bottled water, shampoo, lotion, dental kit, bar soap, towels, extension cord and adapter; you can request front desk for clothes iron - location is walkable to SM Bacolod, San Sebastian Church, other tourist spots - breakfast is simple but delicious; expect typical Filipino breakfast (rice, scrambled eggs, corned beef, ham, sausages, luncheon meat, bread, cornflakes, etc.) - in-room wifi is stable, good enough for social media and video calls - walls are a little thin and the room door is an old school lock-and-key with deadbolt so would not recommend for light sleepers or paranoid travellers - aircon was leaking sometimes but it didn't bother me Overall enjoyed my stay here and would book again in the future for any budget travels to Bacolod :)

We were late for breakfast but gave us food. I recommend this hotel along with my wife, thank you so much, daghang salamat. Very professional friendly and it was a great experience.

The suites were nice. Of course it’s not a western hotel but it’s very friendly, fast Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, hot water (use the tankless water heater in shower. Don’t take a cold shower) the water pressure was very low and watch your step going into the bathroom. At least for my room. Others may have a flat entry. Also the safe didn’t seem to function properly but honestly the crime rate seems very low compared to western cities. At no point did I feel I would be robbed. All in all, I would stay at the suites at Calle nueva again in the future. It was a splendid stay. Do be careful and don’t slip down the stairs. It’s possible that the floor will be wet

if I can give zero stars from this I will rate them zero... this is not a viable suites for ahead bookings especially for a very important events in Bacolod like Maskarra... it may subject to changes during on the said venue... careful and screenshot everything for proofs... but stuffs who were working there are helpful..

Good value for money and for a short stay. Nothing to expect much just basic. Although the service was good - they were able to accommodate our change-room request due to plumbing & toilet issue. I still wanna raised that toilet, drains, shower, plumbing issues that should be repaired.

Rooms are spacious and clean, but a bit too noisy for me (the water pump maybe)

My stay was wonderful and the staff was excellent and always willing to help with our needs. The Hotel offers free breakfast in the morning and the staff is extremely friendly. Even the security guard is nice. I will definitely be going back for a vacation in the Philippines and this hotel is where I'll stay again. Wish this site could give 10⭐ because they deserve it.

The bedroom area was clean, but the washrooms were cramped and not in the best condition. The toilets also do not flush very well. The sound from the nearby areas is very loud at night and makes it difficult to sleep. One of the rooms we were given had a very unpleasant smell and we had to ask for a new room. The staff were friendly and helped carry some luggage up the stairs when we arrived. Breakfast was included and was decent as there were different choices. The location is not bad as it is close to the SM mall, but the surrounding area is a bit frightening at night.

I love the service they provide. The rooms are good, but it is hot outside of your room.

Rooms are SMALL, bathrooms are TINY but extremely clean. TV'S in both rooms I stayed in were small, 24" I think. Free hot breakfast or can order speciality breakfast. AC in every room. Breakfast was great. The first room I stayed in the water was clear as a bell the second one was a dark rusty color and really didn't clear up much. Not sure if it was the pipes or repairs on the main line. DON'T DRINK THE TAP WATER!!! They provide 2 bottle's of water in room, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and toothbrush / toothpaste kit. Upon arrival they give every guest a COVID package which has a mask small disinfectant spray and a dehydrated paper towel. Cost was reasonable and was in walking distance from the city center square, restaurants and the SM Mall. Even though the rooms are small and the bathrooms are extremely small I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and if they have a vacancy the next time I go back I will definitely stay there again

If you like listening to bad karaoke singing until 12am when you're trying to relax and sleep early. Then you can sing along with the next door neighbour who put the karaoke music 150% volume and bass at 200% (enough to give you a mild back massage) until 12 am. Last song was around 12:10am. Staff was friendly though +1 star

Forgot to take photos of our room, but the hotel rooms are very clean, well-maintained, spacious. The bed sheets are of great quality considering their cheap price (supper plus points) The price is very reasonable and comes with free breakfast. They also have complete bathroom kit with good packaging, and sanitary kit.

Place is small compared to their photos especially their restaurant. I was able to go inside because after eating at their Al Fresco dining, we were directed here after looking for their comfort room. It was quite disappointing because they sort of transformed their comfort room into a washing area of their beddings and other hotel stuff. I couldn’t use their sink because it was filled with towels. Anyway, in terms of budget, they now offer an overnight stay for only 1000 with free breakfast. I’ve read other reviews about their surroundings and up until now, the karaoke bar near the hotel is still operating and is very loud.
