I moved to Germany from the US 3 years ago and have been dying for a legit Taco since being here. This is without a doubt the best Taco I’ve had on this side of the pond. The Barbacoa was exceptional and the Fish Tacos as well. To top it off they had a nice hoppy local beer called Herbipolos to tie it all together and make me feel like I was sitting in a Taco shack in Tucson. A+++ - I will be making a trip back to Würzburg just to eat here.

Overall a good representation of Mexican cuisine. Probably not as your abuela makes them, but definitely tasty and comforting. Prices are a bit on the expensive end and as you are paying per taco you can quickly rack up a bill. Staff is super friendly and service is very quick. Make sure to reserve a table if you're going there for dinner as the place is small and quite popular in the same time. Portions are decent sized and food is tasty. Pro tip - don't offer all of the tacos you want at once if you don't want to eat spggy tortilla. Overall, would visit again.

We visited Maiz Taqueria in September 2023 and it's an excellent restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find authentic Latin cuisine in the heart of Würzburg. As if the outstanding Mexican food wasn't enough, we felt very welcomed by the service from Rosa Fernanda Gama. She was very attentive and even gave us a note with great tips on must-see places in the city.
