We
purchased
two
used
BMW
motorcycles
from
them.
The
first
one
went
quite
smoothly.
They
were
friendly
and,
we
decided
to
get
the
second
one
from
them
too.
However,
one
month
after
the
purchase,
I
had
issues
with
the
front
brakes
on
the
second
bike.
The
warranty
paid
for
some
parts,
but
not
everything.
We
asked
Klaus
Mayer
Haßloch
to
cover
those
expenses
since
the
initial
paperwork
(the
inspection
paper
they
gave
us
pre-purchase)
used
to
show
the
brakes
at
75%.
So
the
brakes
were
stated
at
75%
and
caused
problems
within
1000
km
after
the
purchase.
They
agreed
to
pay
for
the
brake
pads
but
not
for
the
discs.
They
argued
that
the
brake
disc
were
within
BMW
limits
and
decided
not
to
compensate
for
the
disc
(and
yes,
it
is
2-3%
above
the
minimum
limit
according
to
the
other
BMW
dealer
that
performed
the
disc
measurements).
So
they
left
us
hanging
with
the
higher
cost
of
this
fix.
When
you
buy
a
motorcycle
from
a
certified
dealer,
you
pay
relatively
more
to
be
on
the
safe
side.
With
BMW
Klaus
Mayer
Haßloch,
I
seriously
doubt
that.
I
am
deeply
dissatisfied
and
angry
because:
First,
the
check-up
paperwork
for
the
motorcycle
was
deceiving.
You
never
expect
something
to
fail
within
the
first
1000
KMs
with
75%
of
the
lifecycle.
Second;
they
do
not
own
their
mistake.
And
they
leave
you
to
it.
Unacceptable.
Those
smiling
faces
as
you
purchase
a
bike
from
them
turn
out
to
be
ugly
and
they
imply
“user
error”.
Long
story
short,
I
say
think
twice
before
you
buy
a
used
bike
from
them.
This
is
the
worst
type
of
representation
for
the
BMW
brand.
Luckily
I
ended
up
contacting
another
good
BMW
dealer
and
they
did
pretty
good
job.
