Very nice facility. Well maintained and very well signposted. The buildings, even if only the foundation walls remain, are described in an explanatory manner. There are enough park benches there that invite you to linger. The trees around you are well protected from strong winds. The complex is located directly on a gravel cycle path and is free to access and view. It's definitely worth a detour on a hike or bike ride.

It was fun, the area is larger than in glassworks, more facilities and also interesting, unfortunately not all of them have information boards which were really missing. The second is a walk to this place which can be a bit strenuous. From Saalburg train station it is about 5 km uphill. We recommend that the road from Pfaffenwiesbach is well marked and less demanding. By the way, we admire the beautiful view. It is about 2.5 km one way from the parking lot, which is also well marked at the beginning of the route. You can eat in the above towns, there are no restaurants and toilets on site, but the place is still full of charm .

Very beautifully located fort in the middle of the forest, I didn't think I would find so much here. There are definitely enough benches for tired hikers and plenty of trees to provide plenty of shade. We recommend !

Nice facility and easy to reach. Also educational thanks to the signs put up. A surprising number of wall remains can be seen, benches invite you to have a picnic. You can also hike there with children. The paths from the hiking car park are well developed. Show running along the way eliminates boredom while running.

Well maintained facility. Wonderfully embedded in nature. It's a lot of fun to discover how the Romans lived. Everything is very well signposted and described. The km are worth it, there are also many interesting points of life back then along the way. I can highly recommend it.

Beautiful place in the middle of the forest. No tourism like in the Saarburg. Therefore not comparable with each other.

(Translated by Google) Always my pleasure. Good air, peace, beautiful forest all around, unfortunately now also with drought and heat damage. For the average citizen over several kilometers only accessible by bike or on foot. No restaurant, no toilets. And that's a good thing... On the park-like grounds between the foundations of the buildings (whose function is clearly shown on boards) there are meadows, old trees and a few benches to linger. Close your eyes and immerse yourself in the old days of the Romans, who could even enjoy the amenities of a sauna after a hard day's work - 1800 years ago! (Original) Immer wieder gerne.

(Translated by Google) Small hike through the forest to there, back and forth from the Pfaffenwiesbach trail parking lot, about 5 km. Walls well preserved - fun to explore, including the dogs. There are small signposts, I think they should tell more. Come back.
