The campsite is really good : a nice nature spot ! The facilities are great, sanitaries are super clean, the pool is nice. The reception was very nice, the staff very nice. The only big problem is the noise. The road goes along the campsite and if you are not prepared it can be a shock. A lot of trucks and cars, motorcycles... In tent, we slept very badly. I think that if you are in camping car, it is perfect! Or in a tent, but only if you have a really heavy sleep and if noise isn't a problem for you

Absolutely recommended! :) I stayed there for 2 nights (in my own tent). The staff is great. Doesn't matter if you speak German or not, English works just as well. The facilities are very clean (bathrooms, showers, laundry room if you're planning a long stay, and an area where you can clean your dishes). There's even a bread service which you can register for and get fresh bread every morning! There's a bus stop just in front of the campsite - ideal if you don't have a car (which was my case, for instance). You also get a visitor's card which allows you to use public transport for free. The location is of course another plus. Several beautiful spots can be reached by foot from the campsite. There's water faucets and electrical sockets almost at every spot. One issue we faced was that our phone charger plugs couldn't charge our phones (I think because the sockets were made for campers/ trailers). But it went fine as we had portable chargers with us. Overall, I really liked this campsite. I'll definitely be staying here again :D

Natur-Camping Langenwald is an amazing camping, and it was one of our best camping experienced we've had in a long time. The atmosphere is amazing, lots of lovely people and the staff are incredibly helpful and nice, and even speak Dutch fluently. There's a bread service where you can order/pickup bread every morning (and it's amazing), there's a little store with great offerings and prices, and access to the forest is literally on the campsite. We've walked every day and there's plenty of choices of routes and sights in the area. Especially if you feel like walking longer (10+ km) distances you can easily get to spots like the Großvatertanne, Freudenstadt, Kastelstein and a little further is Burgbach Wasserfall. We stayed at one of the spots a little further away from the road. There's traffic there also overnight, so I would recommend asking for a place away from the road if you're sensitive to the traffic noises, the staff is very accommodating in that regard. Overall our stay of about 1.5 weeks was amazing, and we'll be back for sure.

We were lucky to get a last-minute camping pitch for a 5-day stay during a public holiday week. The location is pretty awesome and the campsite is well maintained. It certainly has the wow factor on arrival! Lusciously green with flowers, shady trees, a meandering stream and stunning forest backdrop. Generous-size pitches, which is great. Our plot was a particularly large and shady area at the end of a row, fairly calm without a lot of passers-by and that worked out well having our two dogs with us on the camping trip. There is a small lake that's easily accessible from the campsite, very convenient for dog walks. The woodland tracks are popular for cyclists too. The luxury shower block was the best I have experienced at a campsite, a real treat! Great to enjoy a refreshing local beer at the campsite restaurant. We ordered freshly-baked rolls and pastries each morning for breakfast, along with the delicious homemade strawberry jam from the shop. Aside from that, it was necessary to make a trip into town to pick up groceries for the week as the onsite shop is quite limited. A mini grocery store would have been ideal. All in all, highly recommend this campsite, it's fabulous!

One of the best Campgrounds we have been to in Germany! Extremely friendly owners, beautifully located at the edge of the black forest in short distance to Freudenstadt, recently renovated, modern & clean facilities, offering all kinds of leisure activities (volleyball, swimming, ping pong, TV room, ...), lots of seating available (in case you did not bring any chairs) and a very well equipped shop! If you are into Camping, it doesn't get better than this! Highly recommended!

Beautiful valley, REALLY nice staff, and lots of niceties if you're camping as a family with children. Water and power at every lot. They provide a transit pass good for your stay, so you can take the bus into town or to the nearby hiking trails.

Been quite a few years since I've been here but planning to revisit in 2021. Friendly, family run campsite who humoured my attempts to speak German, immaculately clean toilet/shower facilities, shop on site, fresh bread deliveries in the morning and a idyllic location. If you're a motorcyclist, it's ideally located for the B500 and a good place to stop en-route to the Alps.

At the start of our camping trip we had to quickly reschedule everything and we were looking for a campsite somewhere in the Black Forest in Germany. Natur-Camping Langenwald seemed to get great reviews so we contacted them and booked a space for a few days in June. It turns out that we made an excellent decision because this campsite is one of the best I have ever been to! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were all amazingly helpful and friendly (they also spoke great English). We just couldn't believe how nice everything was there! The shower block was like something from a 5-star hotel, the laundry and dishwashing were absolutely immaculate and every time I went in there was never even a speck of dirt anywhere. There is even a place to wash your dog and it has both hot and cold water - it was better than many of the human showers we encountered on our trip. There is a brilliant little cafe / bar on site that served coffee and cakes in the afternoon and hearty traditional German food in the evening along with a great selection of drinks. It isn't open very late so there is no noise at night time. The reception had a well-stocked shop and a great selection of freshly-baked breads and croissants each morning for breakfast. The location is absolutely perfect too. Right in the forest where you can join one of the hundreds of miles of signposted trails just seconds from your camping pitch. The sleepy town of Freudenstadt was a beautiful 45 minute walk through the forest, and also a very pleasant cycle ride too. The biggest problem with Natur-Camping Langenwald is that we had to leave - I wanted to stay there for ever! (We are already making plans to go back in 2023!)

Excellent campiste. It's with no doubt the best that I have ever stayed in Germany. The owners are so nice, the location of the camping is excellent. As soon as possible I will return.

Beautiful, calm camping in the middle of the wood. The perfect authentic Schwarzwald camping experience - definitely coming back!

Great quality campsite. Nice staff owners, store, restaurant...great proximity to trails...free bus and train ticket valid for the length of your stay. Bus stop is right at entrance to campsite, makes it easy to catch bus into Freudenstadt or up to Kniebis. Bus comes about :50 every hour, either direction.

I admit I haven't been on a Campsite for 20 years, but was truly amazed at how good this place was. Started with my phone call enquiry for a mobile home coming from Ireland with family (4) and me by car from Munich to be in a tent alongside. So helpful in finding suitable pitch and absolutely easy, straightforward online booking. Not even advanced payment required. On arrival, very friendly greeting. Pitch was great, no problem for Mobile home, tent & car with plenty of space to neighbours. Very quiet, relaxed site where one can truly enjoy nature with streams running through & alongside. Direct access to forest. Very clean good swimming pool, seemingly heated by solar tubes, so dependent on sunshine days to be very warm. No sign of staff patrolling the grounds to check on rules. My family loved it. Didn't use the shop or restaurant which both looked nice & were busy. No need to take ear plugs! Throughout the day it's very quiet but in the evening & night one can hear a pin drop. For me, the highlight was the sanitary facilities. I think the block closest to our pitch was the newest, but it was immaculate. My first thought was I need to do some major DIY when I get home. In four days, never experienced any queue for the WCs, the separate lockable shower rooms or the luxurious 'family' rooms that have one room with WC room, huge shower area & large washbasin, changing area. Quite something. Departure was just as easy, photos of our electric meter taken on arrival & departure shown at reception, that was it. For me an eye opener & will now probably look to buy my own caravan. Tenting was great fun (last time in 1976 on a field without permission) but at 68, think I probably need just a bit more comfort than a one-man tent from Amazon Basics! Highly recommended for a relaxing, quiet break .. the clue is in the name ' Nature-Camping' Thank you to the entire team.

It was very nice there, the friendly staff always tried to fulfill your wishes. The only negative point that can be said is that the toilets can be cleaned more often. otherwise everything is very good.
