Mein Freund und ich waren dieses Wochenende da. Es war ein super schönes Wochenende! Das Mawell Resort lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Die Pools waren schön warm und luxuriös. Die Saunen sind auch super. Die Aufgüsse haben auch für Stimmung gesorgt. Das Essen war von morgens bis abends sehr sehr lecker. Die Bedienungen auch super freundlich und die Bar lädt abends auch zum „feiern“ ein! Komme auf jeden Fall wieder

An sich ein sehr schönes Resort zum entspannen. Jedoch entsprechen preis Leistung einfach nicht mehr. Zudem ist das Essen für welches man beim dayspa bekommt viel zu wenig und für 100 Euro einfach zu wenig. Ich hoffe das Team arbeitet daran

Overall, this place was amazing. Even if I don't specifically mention something, you can assume that it was excellent. I would still like to point out some things that impressed me in particular. I really liked all the small details which showed that a lot of thought was put into how to make things easier and more enjoyable for the guests. For example, they provide small reuseable tags so you can easily identify your towel and/or bathrobe in the spa area. Although I felt a bit awkward eating dinner in my bathrobe, it was certainly convenient, as it saved a lot of time that can be spent in the amazing pools and the fantastic spa instead. Booking was super simple via their website. The check-in and check-out processes were very fast and uncomplicated. The beds were very comfortable. The spa area is really beautiful, with lots of natural stones and wood. The hotel is located at the top of the rather steep Jagst valley, so you get a great view of the surrounding countryside from almost everywhere, but especially from the terrace of the restaurant, the bar, sauna and pool on the tower and the large infinity pool as well as many of the saunas in the main spa area. There are many comfortable lounges as well as a lot of cozy little corners to relax in. This hotel is fantastic for wellness, both as part of a multi-day stay or as a single day experience in the day spa. However, I would probably hesitate to recommend it for families with children, as they will most likely be bored by the experience, which is tailored for adults.

Alles war einfach perfekt! Wir waren schon in wirklich sehr vielen Wellness Hotels - aber das ist das Allerbeste. Tolle Zimmer, super Service, Gäste und Personal alle sehr freundlich. Die Saunalandschaft ist der Hammer - die Aufgüsse lecker, entspannend und einzigartig. Glutenfreie Speisen gibt es auf Nachfrage, die Brötchen waren zudem sehr lecker! Durch und durch wundervoll. Wir kommen wieder :-)

The prices are okay but I have been to better Wellness hotels. I had a really bad experience with the person who works in Turmbar! Maybe he had a bad day ,but I don’t pay to be behaved like that! Never coming back again.

Wir haben ein wunderschönes und entspanntes Wochenende zu zweit im Mawell Resort verbracht. Das Ambiente und die Wellnesslandschaft sind fantastisch, das Personal war sehr freundlich, bemüht und zuvorkommend, das Essen gesund und sehr lecker, die Zimmer sauber, gut ausgestattet und groß. Wir sind vollkommen auf unsere Kosten gekommen und können das Resort nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Personal!

Very nice hotel for wellness, the whole concept is linked to nature. Also good food (we did not try and dinner). It is comparatively pricy but we enjoyed it overall.

Outstanding resort with all the amenities one would want at a reasonable price, notably an excellent kitchen and truly exceptional service provided by numerous staff…my only complaint was that two of the rest Lounges also served as thoroughfare, so rest was not really possible there, but there are plenty areas to relax and even have a nap outside of one’s room…we spent 4 days entirely in supplied bathrobes there, and they as well as the towels can be exchanged as often as one wishes…the many excellent sauna’s are the highlight here, and everything is organized around them, but the pools are also nothing to complain about.

Der perfekte Ort um zu entspannen! Wir haben uns hier super wohl gefühlt. Von verschiedenen Saunen und Pools wird hier einiges angeboten, sogar einige Liegeflächen. Das Essen war auch super, jederzeit standen Snacks über den Tag zur Verfügung. Bei Fragen hat das Personal immer weitergeholfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 🫶🏼

3 Tage Auszeit Wir kamen gestern abend von unserem Wellnesswochenende zurück und sind ob des Erlebten begeistert. Am Anreisetag kann man ab 11 Uhr in den Spa - und Wellnessbereich einchecken. Es stehen diverse Pools und zahlreiche Saunen zur Verfügung. Alles ist tip top sauber und schön gestaltet. Der neue 50 Meter Innenpool sollte auch die anspruchsvollsten Gäste zufriedenstellen. Beim check in für den Spa Bereich bekommt jeder Gast 2 Badetücher, Bademantel, 1 Becher für Getränke. Die Handtücher kann man auch nach Bedarf tauschen. Check in sowie check out fürs Hotelzimmer waren schnell und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet, Bett sehr bequem und ein Kühlschrank mit kostenlosem Wasser vorhanden. Im Spa und Wellnessbereich gibts diverse Möglichkeiten um Wasser und Tee zu ziehen. Das Essen ist wirklich gut und man hat auch beim Abendessen die Möglichkeit bei den Tellergerichten nochmals nachzuordern falls der Hunger zu groß ist. Getränke beim Mittagsbuffet und Abendessen sind extra zu zahlen aber das ist ja klar. Check out Sonntags für Wellness und Zimmer sind 17 Uhr! Das ist wirklich toll und ist ein extra Pluspunkt. Der Barbereich in der Hotellobby ist großzügig und Samstagabend war Livemusik. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden gerne wiederkommen

Alles sehr schön und gemütlich. Essen super und alles recht locker. Werde wieder kommen. Das einzige wo ich keinen Stern geben kann ist die Bar.Ich werde sie in zukunft meiden und für abends mein Getränk selbst mitbringen. Ich wurde nicht bedient oder auch vergessen und das nicht nur einmal.

Ich habe von meinen Kollegen einen Gutschein für das Mawell zum Abschied bekommen. Ich war anfangs etwas skeptisch weil so riesige Sauna- und Wellness Oasen nicht mein Ding sind. Ich war angenehm überrascht was man für die 88 Euro alles bekommt. Das Abendessen war sehr gut und sehr schön angerichtet. Ich war zufrieden mit dem Tag im Mawell, wobei die Größe der Anlage nicht mein Favorit ist.

Toll wie immer. Fühle mich sehr wohl und gut versorgt hier. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Im Ruheraum hat man den Blick zur Burg Langenburg. Einfach sehr inspirierend. Habe hier mein Manuskript geschrieben.

Sehr schönes Wellness Hotel zum Abschalten und Entspannen. Tolle Pools und sehr schöne Saunalandschaft. Durch die verschiedenen Ebenen ist es sehr weitläufig und man merkt die Anzahl der Gäste kaum. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Resort, schöne Pools, schöne Saunen, sehr leckeres Essen. Besonders der Kartoffelsalat und das frische Bauernbrot!!! Aber es gibt auch "Abers"... 1. Die Zimmer in der Lodge sind wirklich toll und durchdacht, aber leider durch den Holzbaustil mega hellhörig. Wir hatten mehrere unruhige Nächte, weil die "Mädelsurlaub-Truppe" über uns ein sehr aktives Nachtleben pflegte. Man hört wirklich jeden Schritt, vom Fensteröffnen/-schließen, dem Türenknallen (was leider im ganzen Komplex gehört wurde) oder dem Gegacker am offenen Fenster mitten in der Nacht. Wie es in den anderen Gebäudeteilen ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen. 2. Einen Aufgussplan gibt es nur an einer Stelle im Wellnessbereich (an dem keine Saunen sind), den morgens mit auf den Newsletter aufzunehmen, wäre eine hilfreiche Sache, da Handys zum Fotos machen ja verboten sind. 3. Das Menü: Das Vorspeisen/Salatbuffet ist wirklich abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig. Auch für Veganer findet sich da immer einiges, wobei es besser gekennzeichnet sein könnte. Aber die vegetarische Variante des Menüs lässt leider die Ausgewogenheit vermissen. Beispiele: Nudeln mit Pilzen, Asiatischer Reis (mit Zwiebeln und Kohlstücken), Bulgur mit Kichererbsen ...alles zwar sehr lecker- aber irgendwie immer eintopfartig für Zahnlose. Ein bisschen frisches Gemüse on Top wäre echt ein Gewinn, zumal die Fleisch- und Fischgerichte zum gleichen Preis wirklich was hermachten! 4. Textil-/FKK Bereiche: Eine deutlichere Kennzeichung der Bereiche wäre wünschenswert, um sich als einig korrekt (un-)bekleideter nicht dumm beobachtet zu fühlen.

Waren nur für den Abendtarif in der Saunalandschaft. Es war sehr störend, das es sich noch mehr verschlechtert hat, das sich sehr viel fast 80 Prozent an das Textil frei nicht halten und mit Badekleidung in der Sauna sitzen. Im Gespräch mit anderen Sauna Gästen wurde das nicht Wohlbefinden bestätigte. Keine großen deutliche Hinweise Textilien frei. Keine Aufsicht die darauf hinweisen. Sonst alles sauber Handtuch service ok. Preis für 4 Std. 58 € na ja. Für die Nachmittag zu teuer

Silence at Mawell is much appreciated. I don't know what we liked more - the infinity pool, the event sauna or the relax room with nests. One could easily spend a day exploring Mawell's facilities so make sure you walk around to discover everything. The food served at the restaurant was delicious as well. Additionally, fresh fruit and a great choice of teas are available at all times. We were at Mawell twice and we will definitely go again.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel, leckeres Essen, zuvorkommendes Personal. Allerdings: wenn man später frühstücken kommt oder auch beim Abendessen wird nicht mehr alles aufgefüllt, sehr schade. Zudem gibt es beim Frühstück kaum Auswahl an Putenwurst. Außerdem sind die Getränke beim Kuchen/Mittagssnack (Kaffee etc.) und beim Abend essen nicht inkl. Darauf wird auch nicht hingewiesen (sehr schade!!)

Well, this is one of the harder reviews. - Nice location - Good SPA area (with a nice selection of saunas and such) - Can become crowded (weekends) We liked our stay here quite a bit. It was planned as a wellness and relax weekend, which worked out fine. The rooms are spacious, clean and well designed. The view from most relaxing areas and some saunas is nice, as well as the view from most rooms. The restaurant has a high standard and the quality of food is great. It has to be noted that people are welcome in bathrobes from the SPA. However, as the restaurant is well setup you do not really realize. The only real drawback here is that the service is not able to serve all guests in the restaurant on time. Starters and Deserts come in buffet-style, while you have to hope that service does not forget your main course (which happened for us EVERY evening). Besides this the overall service in the whole resort was very good, but at the charged price I do not deem this acceptable. The big drawback having experienced many wellness resorts, I believe the steep price they charge and their ambition to be a luxury resort is not fully deserved.

Overall very nice experience. There was a misunderstanding with the booking for my couple's massage, it was not booked, as it is an E-Mail booking system, not automatized, in addition to a misunderstanding with the language used (English) to specify the kind of massage . (++)I appreciate how the management team handled the case and resolved the situation. Thanks! Ideally, it will be great to implement an online booking system for the massage. (-)The food was really good, specially the Dinner event they have, it is worth it to pay an extra for it. (+) The events they organize for sauna (see picture) is a really good idea, however (-)all the guest want to join, it is so full, that it was frustrating not to be able to try it. You don't want to be in a sauna back-to-back with others sweating next to you. Maybe they should organize more events (for example, repetin every hour), so everyone has the chance to try it. (-) Something disappointing, was to book the premium suit (private Jacuzzi) and not to have a view to the castle. In the pictures during booking, shows that there is a view to the castle. (+)Location is quite and good to disconnect. A castle is around, it is worth to try it. Pics from the dinner and the sauna events they offer.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Infinity swimming-pool with view over the area. Hotel is located on a hill and rooms have big balconies. Different types of saunas and other SPA options. Perfect place to get some relax for 2-3 days.

The hotel is absolutely marvelous. It's not getting boring because there are a lot of opportunities to relax and take some time off. The food is very tasty and the stuff extremely friendly. I've been here for the first time but for sure it's not gonna be my last.
