We arrived after 18 o clockz the reception was closed, but we could stay on a field at the side of the camping. Great, clean and green camping. Very quiet at night. This time for one night but definitely a place to return to.

The camping closed at 6 pm. We were late arrivals and they have a parkinglot available. You get electricity and can use the facilities. Everything is fresh and clean. We did not walk around but it seems to offer a lot of activities. Very friendly staff. We stayed at two occasions.

The area for tents is really badly maintained, full of holes, mounds and debris and the facilities weren't worth the high price, in my opinion. Reception was friendly but that's not enough to recommend this campsite.

Nice place. We stayed there for two nights in the camping part, there is a small kitchen only for camping which is nice. The facilies are nice and clean. Only the shower pressure was a little bit strong for my taste. Personel was friendly :)

Geesthof ist our favourite camp site here in the Elbe-Weser-Region. The tent area has plenty of space, the caravan areas are great, too. Electricity is available for all areas. We especially love the fire and barbeque place and walking along the river Oste. There's lots of possibilities to spend time with e.g. horse riding, various places for fishing (trout ponds, the river, a small lake). You can go walking, running, hiking and cycling in the near surroundings. The reception also includes a small shop section for everyday needs and postcards. You can order bread rolls for breakfast and pick them at the reception in the morning.

Lovely park with nice playgrounds etc. Had some troubles with equipment in the hut though: gas stove exploded, water heater didn't work, no cold water in the kitchen... and the staff were very un-coordinated about getting the problem fixed.

Arrived 9 minutes after closing time driving an extra 30 kilometers to get there not even wanting to listen to taking in. Very bad reception on site
