    We really enjoyed the food. But we expected much better dining experience given this is a fine dining restaurant and the a 1-Michelin-star rating. 1. First when we checked in downstairs at the bar, we were greeted by a host on the ground floor who took our coats. He then told us to take the elevator and told us which floor we were going. We stepped out of the elevator (white room) and into this very narrow hallway with two doors on either side. No one was there to greet us or guide us to the table. We were not sure if we were supposed to wait or be greeted by our server. We stood there for 2 minutes and decided to try our luck — we opened one door and realized it was the kitchen which we were promptly told to go to the other side. So we went to the other door which looked like was a dining room and we basically SAT ourselves at a table that we GUESSED was meant for us (there was only a table set for 4 people). We felt super awkward to having to seat ourselves...were we supposed to wait in the hallway or were we supposed to just seat ourselves? This is a fine dining restaurant, surely someone should come and acknowledge us? At the very least tell us where to go? If we had waited we would’ve probably needed to stand there for 5 minutes because it took another 5-8 minutes of us sitting at the table before we were greeted by our server. I certainly did not expect this at a fine dining restaurant. When the server finally arrived, she seemed hurried and disorganized. 2. The seating arrangement was strange - two of us faced the painting while the other two were facing each other on the long end. I did not understand why we could not have been placed on the other side as clearly there was room (even from your Google photos, you had a table for 4 on the left side of the dining room) It made conversations very hard and it was too dark to admire the food or take any sort of decent photos. Two of us were awkwardly staring at the painting by course 5 in between conversations. I did not feel the restaurant considered the guests when deciding on this seating plan. Or worse, it almost felt as if it was intentional to seat us away from the other tables because it’s highly unusual for a restaurant to purposely place two tables along one side of the wall for a party of 4. Have you ever seen a restaurant, let along a fine dining one at that, to offer this arrangement? 3. It was a bit stuffy/hot in the white room — apparently they misplaced the remote and so it was another 20 minutes before they were able to have some ventilation in the room. I felt if we were in the black room it would’ve been a much nicer dining experience. 4. The time between each course was super inconsistent. We waited at least 15-20 minutes from course 3-4 — felt the last couple of courses was quite rushed seeing it was almost 10pm. The creativity and skills behind the food was unquestionable. But if I were to rate the overall dining experience as a whole given the price/value and star-rating, I could not say this was a great experience or worth the value. At the very least, we should be greeted and made to feel welcome and unfortunately we did not feel that. And for 90Euros/pax this was certainly not what I was expecting.

    Truly original dining. An incredible space over 3 narrow floors, this inventive vegetarian restaurant is the best I've been to. The food was truly different from anything I've eaten and the whole approach to the dining experience was personal and distinct from anything I've experienced. I felt like I was in an episode of star trek in the very stylised dining room and the somewhat retro vibe. Inspiring and refreshing for any seasoned fine diner. A must visit.

    We had a fantastic, wonderful culinary evening yesterday. We haven't experienced vegan food like this before. It is a new level. We are grateful for the experience and are eager to come back. We were exceptionally pampered, fully informed and sustainably inspired at Seven Swans.

    Can not recommend. Food is very underwhelming and the service is not what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. You do not receive a menu with prices and are tricked into ordering all courses, despite it being way too much food for the average person.

    We would like to thank the Team of the "Seven Swans" for a really fantastic evening. We came without preparation and therefore without specific expectations. We were received very nicely, charmingly served, super informed and fantastically fed. One can only imagine the work, preparation, precision and discipline behind such an evening, but the ease with which the team transported this was impressive. And we had more than one culinary wow effect that evening. 6 out of 5 possible stars for this piece of of art.

    What a wonderful, special and unique restaurant and evening! Outstanding, intelligent and delicious food. Great, warm and relaxed service. It is wonderful to visit during different seasons to see how the menu changes accordingly. Overall an impressive and consistent experience from the cultivation of the products, the cuisine, the great service by the chefs themselves, the ambience, the wines to the beautiful ceramics by Viola Beuscher.     My mom and I had an absolutely amazing experience! Ricky and Nadine as well as the third chef were very down to earth despite the “fine dining” experience and made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcome. That in itself is quite rare. The culinary experience was incredible. Each dish was created with lots of passion and love for detail. They were rich in flavor and the wines that were offered along with the dishes matched perfectly. After the dinner we immediately asked how often the menu is changed (4-5 times a year), so we will definitely try to experience them all in 2022. Plus: Everything is vegan and they dedicate themselves to being sustainable. We need more restaurants likes this in Frankfurt 💕

    Five stars, no doubt. Exclusively set atop a narrow house right at the Main river, with only six tables to sit, a marvelous experience of vegetarian cuisine. Really nice and competent service and very diverse and exciting wine pairing. Pricing is very fair given the overall experience. Offers a lot of small and nice surprises during the stay, I will not spoil here. Try and be delighted.

    Unfortunately I haven't been able to taste the menu at SEVEN SWANS yet, since my reservation I made and got confirmed 6(!) weeks in advance got canceled. Very unprofessional behavior by the restaurant and incredibly awkward for my table companions having already planned and booked a trip coming from Munich.

    Not really happy with this experience. Everything was extremely slow. Reservation was at 18:30, they stared to serve the dinner at 20:00 and was until 23:30. Food was good, but not fantastic. In general it is overpriced place. Staff was very friendly.

To do everything as nature intends it to be, grow everything in an own permaculture...and then, already owning and risking a Michelin star by turning all vegetarian: chapeau! From the very beginning, being greeted with a superb Apéro at the bar, getting to know our host of the evening and a first introduction to the small bunch of other guests, over all those insanely well thought-out and precisely crafted courses, paired with fitting wines (only tasted on sip each) or alcohol-free but no less flavourful alternatives, to chef Ricky's (+ team) warm but professional way of guiding us through this exceptional experience.. thanks you all, and we'll be back.

    Something different and a great experience. A small place but a cosy setting and a nice view (we were on the 3rd floor). We are not vegetarians but enjoyed it a lot. The sustainable concept makes the experience even better. Very recommendable also for not vegetarians!!

    Our table have been set aside for my sister's birthday, she really was excited and the venue looked wonderful. The cost of the meal was less than anticipated, my sister And I were really thrilled. Enjoy the ambiance here and the meals is always well cooked and tasty. The personnel were definitely immaculately dressed and it had been clear they understood their particular job well. Wonderful service and ambiance, would highly recommend the meals and good for kids as well.
