This is the most beautiful railway station in entire North East India. The station is clean and hygienic. It is also well maintained and depict the culture of Tripura. The night view of the station is awesome and the statues in front of the station. In the station you will get number of autos to travel to your destined location. Overall experience is good and the people are also helpful.

Agartala railway stationĀ is located 5.5Ā km (3.4Ā mi) fromĀ AgartalaĀ inĀ Tripura, India. It is the second capital city (afterĀ Guwahati,Ā Assam) in northeast India to be connected to the country's railway map, moreover Agartala is the first state capital of independent India to be connected with a rail network.[2]Ā Before 2015 the 413-kilometre (257Ā mi) route was connected toĀ LumdingĀ with aĀ metre-gaugeĀ track, but after the gauge conversion toĀ broad gaugeĀ in 2016, the track is connected directly to Guwahati and the rest of India. From Agartala an under-construction track has been on the way for a connection towards the extremeĀ SouthernĀ end point of the state atĀ Sabroom, which has been completed on 3 October 2019. A total of 21 constructed stations and few under-construction stations in the state, withĀ ChuraibariĀ being the last one through theĀ Northern sideĀ andĀ SabroomĀ (functioning & completed) in the Southern side. The total length of track from the capital towards the North region's last station is approx. 153Ā km (95Ā mi), after which the territory of Assam starts. There are a lot of transportation modes available to reach the city from the station. The northeastern state capital came on India's railmap with the advent of the railways in theĀ subcontinentĀ in 1853. The foundation stone of the 119Ā km (74-mile)Ā Kumarghatā€“AgartalaĀ railway project was laid in 1996 by the former Prime MinisterĀ H. D. Deve Gowda, and during the laying of rail lines, provisions were kept for swiftly converting it to broad gauge. 40 years time was taken by the Government since then to connect Agartala by rail.

Being newly built railway station in this region is phenomenal. The structure is developed simply on the structure of Ujjayenta place way. Simply an amazing structure though lot more training of staff is need of the hour to serve nicely to customer. Even very less or nil vendors around to serve. Do carry your own food or daily eatables to survive such as lassies or butter milk etc.

Bengaluru Cantt To Agartala Longest Humsafar In India 3535 Kms 65 Hours 30 Minutes by12503 - Bangalore Cantt Agartala Humsafar Express. Agartala is the capital city of Tripura. Itā€™s a small, but beautiful state located in the northeastern region of India. It is believed and further supported by many references that the name Agartala was derived from the words ā€˜Agar' and 'Tala'.

Located around 6 kms from Agartala City(Ujjayanta Palace), the Agartala railway station's building is a treat to the eyes of travellers. The Architecture resembles the style of Ujjayanta Palace. There are total 3 platforms in the station. The station is clean and well maintained. There are only few shops in the Platform 1 which is a big disappointment. Station also lacks proper display board. There are only few of them which they do not update regularly. There are lot of auto rickshaws available outside the railway station for the traveller

One of the clean, safe and beautiful railway station I have ever been. Located with amazing landscape all around, it's pretty mesmerizing experience. Away from pollution and comprising of 3 railway statin platforms. You can find all types of trains to any part of India from here. Airport is 14 km from here. Overall a good experience.

Agartala Railway Station is located in Agartala, the capital city of the Indian state of Tripura. The railway station provides facilities such as waiting rooms, booking counters, and platforms for passengers. It's advisable to check the official Indian Railways website or other reliable sources for the latest information on train schedules, services, and any recent developments related to Agartala Railway Station Agartala Railway Station is located in the western part of Agartala city in Tripura, India. It's an important transportation hub in the state, connecting it to other parts of India through the rail network. Agartala Railway Station is very good in terms of infrastructure. Beauty from outside is wonderful, and it looks like palace ,you will be forced to capture pics due to its infrastructure from exterior ,well maintained. Train runs for the route of Silcher,Guwahati,Delhi,Patna,Bengaluru,Kolkata and other several parts. Now a days frequency has increased after 2015 ,and before that people from other state prefer flight. Maintenance is good ,clean and disciplined. Nearest railway station for NIT Agartala students will be Jirania which is 4 km from the campus. Enjoy the tunnel of tripura ,one of the longest and other scenario from railway as valleys ,hills you can view from the train. Hit like if you think it's worth describing.

A very clean railway station šŸ‘ The station entrance is designed as a replica of Tripura royal palace & seriously on a sunny day if the sky is clear the view is really outstanding šŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ˜€ A little rush is always there in the early morning hours because it is the only major station in Tripura & A thing which I was disappointed ā˜¹ļø Was the auto association has a big rivalry with the other autorickshaw driver's who are associated with a private app cab application I had to face It was something like this I boarded the agartala special fare train from Guwahati junction on 24th of August & arrived at Agartala on 25th morning around at 10:30 am.i got off at the station & came out to search for a vehicle to proceed towards my destination I got to know that the private app cab service is operational in the city of Agartala so I booked an auto with the app The autorickshaw driver arrived after a couple of minutes at the pickup location as I was going to board the auto suddenly out of nowhere some individuals of the auto association came & argued with my auto driver & took the key's out of the autorickshaw and went away, they were very abusive & disrespectful After requesting a lot they returned the keys and we proceeded towards my drop off location The main concern from the auto association was no private organisations can operate inside Agartala railway station or in other places of the city because it is hampering their buisness Where they can charge any amount of money FROM the passengers or the local public That's all I could conclude

Agartala Railway Station The one thing i find about this station is that it starts from here itself (i.e., extreme end station compared to other railway stations for us). I have found my seat and washroom areas all very neat and tidy since Agartala station is the starting point. There can be further improvements within the station with more shops and restaurants etc. I have added 30 images, including videos of my seat in AC 3 tier. There are also a few images of AC 2 Tier. These images are of AGARTALA to RANI KAMALAPATI train. Thank you Pratik Jamatia
