I
wanted
to
share
with
you
today
my
impressions
from
my
recent
trip
to
Sri
Lanka.
🇱🇰🐘
There
will
be
a
lot
about
the
weather
and
planning
the
trip
on
your
own!
✈️
First
of
all,
the
question
that
often
comes
up
in
the
group
-
the
weather
"off-season"
☀️
(referring
to
the
peak
tourist
season
from
December
to
April).
I
don't
know
why
many
Poles
believe
that
Sri
Lanka
or
Asia
in
general
should
only
be
visited
at
a
specific
time.
🤨
I
have
traveled
extensively
in
this
beautiful
continent,
and
I
have
also
lived
in
India
during
the
"off-season,"
and
I
have
only
one
conclusion
-
go
and
enjoy
the
lack
of
crowds
and
lower
prices!
🕺
The
weather
in
the
second
half
of
May
in
Sri
Lanka
in
2023
was
perfect
for
us.
It
was
sunny
in
Colombo,
there
were
passing
showers
and
clouds
in
Galle/the
southwestern
coast,
it
was
slightly
cooler
but
sunny
with
a
few
clouds
in
Ella
and
Nuwara
Eliya,
and
on
the
west
coast
(where
the
weather
in
May
is
excellent),
it
was
beautiful,
sunny,
without
a
drop
of
rain,
and
hot
-
perfect
for
beach
activities.
🌊🏝️
In
short,
no
matter
what
time
of
the
year
you
go
to
Sri
Lanka,
you
will
find
a
place
with
the
weather
you
desire,
just
plan
your
trip
well.
😊
The
second
issue
is
getting
around
the
island
and
planning
the
trip.
🚗
Here,
we
chose
the
option
of
a
private
car
with
a
driver,
and
I
believe
it
was
the
best
decision
for
us.
Why?
It
is
certainly
the
fastest
and
most
convenient
way
to
travel
and
see
"everything."
Distances
on
the
island
are
significant,
and
the
number
of
attractions
is
countless,
and
during
the
planning
process,
I
often
had
a
headache
and
wondered,
"how
can
I
connect
and
manage
all
of
this?"
I
contacted
Kamal
Danushka🙏🏼🫶🏻
I
gave
him
the
information
-
"We
have
4
days
free
between
two
extreme
points
on
the
island,
where
I
booked
hotels.
Do
you
have
any
ideas?"
Kamal
prepared
everything
for
us,
the
entire
plan,
taking
into
account
all
of
my
requests,
and
he
changed
the
plan
so
that
we
could
spend
more
time
at
the
attractions
that
mattered
most
to
us.
He
adjusted
the
plans
on
the
go
based
on
our
well-being
and
the
weather.
But
that's
not
the
best
part
of
our
collaboration.
What
surprised
me
the
most
is
that
Kamal
took
care
of
us
at
every
step
as
if
we
were
his
family.
❤️
He
made
sure
no
one
cheated,
tricked
us,
sold
us
old
coconuts,
or
cooked
food
that
could
make
us
sick.
He
often
told
me,
"don't
eat
this
here,
it's
not
good
for
your
European
stomach."
🥘
Thanks
to
him,
we
only
ate
at
local
trusted
restaurants
where
we
would
probably
be
afraid
to
enter
on
our
own
(I
should
add
that
none
of
us
got
sick,
and
we
didn't
have
any
health
incidents
throughout
the
trip).
Kamal
squeezed
the
most
out
of
our
trip
when
I
thought
we
were
just
going
from
point
A
to
point
B
today
because
it's
a
long
way
and
there
won't
be
time
for
anything
else,
he
surprised
us
and
stopped
at
places
that
were
hidden
gems
and
we
would
never
have
found
on
our
own
because
they
are
not
mentioned
in
any
guidebook.
🌟
The
biggest
mistake
we
made
was
booking
hotels
for
our
trip
ourselves
through
Booking.
Kamal
showed
me
the
places
he
recommends,
and
it
always
turned
out
that
they
were
cheaper,
and
the
standard
was
much
higher
(I'm
talking
about
the
$15-25/day
range
for
two
people,
but
Kamal
has
proposals
for
every
budget).
In
summary,
planning
your
trip
can
be
very
simple.
Choose
the
dates,
select
a
few
places
or
attractions
you
want
to
see.
You
can
also
include
your
dream
hotel
where
you
want
to
stay
for
at
least
a
few
days
and
send
it
all
to
Kamal.
He
will
take
care
of
the
rest.
You
are
guaranteed
to
have
the
vacation
of
a
lifetime!
