Very disappointed! It is several years I come to this restaurant and I have been happy until this very moment, when I came this one only time within this summer and had the worse experience ever. Food: poor quality, defrosted vegetables, leftovers of pizzas and sad omelette in the ‘rustic appetiser’. 15€ Mussels weren’t cleaned properly. Pasta was just ok. Beverage: poor quality local wine and mainstream beers. Service: the waiter came to ask for orders after at least 30 minutes seated to the booked table. Main courses arrived 1 and a half later. 90€ bills for the 3 of us!!! We will definitely never come back.

This place is one of the best in town, unique location, cosy and welcoming. Immerse in nature and huge trees around. The food is awesome and the staff very funny and friendly. They use a lot of local product, specialties that you can't find anywhere else. Highly recommended Masha

Super friendly staff, looks like a family run hotel and restaurant. We went there because we are staying in Custonaci. The food was all cooked fresh and was truly Sicilian. It looked like the pasta was home made as well.

Very good lunch, I took Cassatalle ( homemade ravioli, stuffed with Ricotta ) and Caponata ( Typical sicilian vegetable dish ), everything was fresh , tasty and fairly priced. Service was also excellent.

We spent a couple of nights at the hotel. Parking is available. The room is comfortable and air conditioned. Breakfast is plentiful. The locality is ideal for exploring the area (Erice, Capo San Vito).

This family run hotel and restaurant has, perhaps, the most authentic and delicious food in all Italy. Most vegetables, especially the finocchio are selvatici, which means wild, from the forest. The staff are friendly and most accommodating. I read about this place in the Washington Post over 15 years ago. The next generation is cooking now, and the food is amazing. Katia makes Cassatelli that are lighter than air, delicious in brodo or tomato sauce. I've never had a better home made pasta! Don't miss them.

Il Cortile is a really nice place located at the very heart of Custonaci, 5 min walk from the old town. I stayed here twice during my trip to Sicily. Both of the rooms were very clean and cosy. I love the view to the garden. The personnel was really kind and helping. The restaurant serves typical Sicilian food, all of which was very tasty and fresh, and a really good wine. I will definitely get back to Il Cortile when coming to Western Sicily again.

We took an entree and a mixed grilled pork. The first one is nothing special, the second was cooked "on gas". We spent also quite a lot comparing to what we have eaten the other days
