I didn't booked any room or didn't take any food from here. Because 1st impression was the last impression. Last month I get there with my families by our own car in early morning. At around 7:30AM we have reached in front of resort, at that time my didi & my wife was feeling very uncomfortable for a long drive and they badly required a washroom for some refreshment. The caretaker who was standing in front of the gate said that, "1st you have to opt for Lunch buffet package or any other option after that you were allowed to enter the resort and use our washrooms". What an unexpected hospitality for the tourist!!!!!! I think no gentle person will want to stay on that resort after their warm welcome. The business owner of that property may need to recall their staffs for a proper training to how to behave with tourist/ visitors.

Big area with well maintained gardens and parks.They have good number of rooms for lodging purpose. I cannot say how the rooms are as I have never stayed there, but visited the resort quite a few times during day trips. Restaurant is good, staff behavior is polite and warm. Above everything, food is nice and price is reasonable. Swimming pool is there, which can be used by paying a small charge.

Nice place for picnic. It was too cold. Water from taps is salty. Food was average. outside food and alcohol are not allowed. But place wise it's good.

The resort is very well maintained and huge. We could use most of the open space available there. Rooms were also clean. But food quality could be better. Overall a nice experience!

Beautiful cost effective location for a day out with family and friends. Food quality services are good. Near by there are few places of interest. Such as river side, residence of S.C. Chattopadhyay thermal power station etc.

Excellent place. I stayed there for 2 days. Big lawns, lot of greenery, good swimming pool and awsome food. Nice experience all together. Only family are allowed.

Extremely disappointed. This is one of the most overrated place in west bengal. The place is very packed and dirty. We went as a group of 20 plus people. We had high hopes. The food is extremely bad. The mutton smelled like rotten and extremely chewy. The worst meal we had ever had. As if kept in a fridge for days and being used again. Don't think it is by the river, it's not! Not a child friendly place. The room was very very dirty. Bathrooms were extremely unhygienic. Better avoid this place at all cost. And regarding the nice comments it's mostly paid.

An excellent place for a day outing, picnic, or weekend trip. Well-maintained resort at a medium price. The food was also very tasty and economical. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and all the services were up to the mark.

Open ground, lots of flowers are there, spacious but food quality I didn't like. . Mutton was not cleaned proply. First they served half cooked mutton, after informing, they gave mutton with hair in it. After seeing that, it is not possible to eat. Don't want to go again.

Rooms are very good , specious well furnished. Having attached big ( really big ) washroom. One can spend time in the balcony for hours reading books viewing scene all around. Courteous staff provide prompt room service. The resort is very near to NH 16 ( 5 min walk)and Railway station ( 8 min walk) for availing public transport. The resort itself is on the side of wide motorable road.

It's a great place for family members, perfect for picnic spot. You can stay here also.

It's a big resort with very good arrangements for kids to play around. Food is okay. No spoon were provided with the plates. Plenty of parking space. Very good swimming pool and associated services.

Room 216: 1) Poor lighting. No light over basin mirror. Only one tube light working. 2) Fan speed very high even at lowest point. 3) Room too small and has one column blocking space.

A nice place to spend time with family or friends. The rooms are spacious, AC worked fine, food was rally good, pool is well maintained , lawn are lush green, children can spent nice times with adequate space and rides. The only issue is the service, which is not up to the mark. Overall it's a nice place .

A great food stop towards Deulti's attraction, Sarat Chandra's House. Good food. Had the mutton thali and fish thali, everything was sumptuous and finger licking good! Great prices for the quantity and quality.

Nice place to spend weekends. Large area and also well decorated and well maintained. Water of swimming pool are very clean. Any one can use this pool by paying Rs 50/- per head. If you do not have swimming suit or synthetic dress, you can hire from them. Kids will enjoy here. There is some playing area for kids.

Little inside from the main highway, a huge property namely Nirala Resort is located at Deulti. Lush green fields, huge ponds lots of greenery as well as Swimming pool adds to the beauty of the place. A nice place for a day outing/ 1 night stay. Food is ample, tasty and clean. Overall a good experience.

It's a budget property in Deulti, around 1.30 hours drive form Kolkata. Ideal for day outing, picnic. Property is big enough with multiple water bodies, garden, ground, swimming pool within its boundaries. Suggested to have one or two rooms depending on no of heads even during day outing. They have several food packages, food is average. Good for kids. Food needs to be improved comparing the money they are charging.

Worst experience ever had Food quality is just like street food. In the name of unlimited dishes tastes just horrible. In the name of swimming pool they will charge 50 per head but the water is very unhygienic. Lot of dead insects are floating on the water. Please don't waste your time and money on coming here

I visited the property in the last week of June 2022. The experience was very poor, will not advise others to visit the place. The landscape is not maintained. The rooms are stuffy and the furniture are very old, washrooms are very dirty, and the food over priced for its quality. Does not deserve to be known as Resort. The behavior of the staff are cordial.

Very near to Deulti rly station and NH 16. Very big area around 40 bighas, plenty of trees, play ground, beautiful swimming pool etc. Family with Children can enjoy nicely. Food they supply on week days are not fresh specially non veg items. Food items are very costly compaired to local market Nature lovers can enjoy one night here.

Good for one day trip from Kolkata Nearby sight seen includes saratchandra home and rupnarayan river This place also has a old terracotta temple of Madan Gopal. The resort is very good with pool and good photo spots. Also has tasty menu

Catering Quality very poor. Not served even hot food in engagement ceremony. Also provide a very poor photographer (DSLR cameraman) with 5K charges who (Bapi's photography) even don't know blur effect/HD photography. Don't hire any photographer from their. Road quality very bad inside during rainy season. Not designed parking stand (open parking stand for cottage/villa room)

An absolute hidden gem. Though this place is not new but it retains it's freshness through beautifully landscapes Gardens and lush green lawns. Rooms are majestically huge compared to the decent pricing. Unlike many other resorts or hotels all across Bengal, Nirala boasts of a set menu but they deliver, tasty and healthy food. Nothing abnormally hyped yet reasonably priced. That is Nirala USP it seems. Staff are helpful and smiling. Rooms are clean and sonis the property. Swimming pool opens at 8 am and closes down after 5 pm and the entire time there's one person to look after the safety of ladies in the pool, which was pleasantly surprising. Overall this place is definitely a must go for families over a weekend.

Nice place to enjoy with family and friends near kolkata. Swimming pool and kids play area. Rooms are average. Food is so-so but a bit costly. Don't opt for fancy food but bengali dishes are average. Well behaved and friendly staff.

As per my knowledge It was the first resort in the area. With wide area of park,rooms restaurant, pool and garden. Well decorated and maintained. Food quality is good. Parking area is great. They have a huge capacity. You can book the resort for marriage purposes too. They can easily fit 1000-1500 people. Food prices seem fair. Mostly a day trip from Kolkata or a night stay is worth it.

In fine Nirala resort is usefull for any social, cultural, commercial and /or family function. Required infrastructure is available within the resort. It is easily accessible and nearer to NH-6 and Deulty railway station.

Nice resort for all ages, family and friends. About 1.5 hours drive from Kolkata. Multiple lawns for multiple different parties, yet enclosed with shrubs and trees giving a sense of privacy. Flower beds and vegetables grown inside the property. Food was so so, but a day well spent. Did not stay overnight, though there are multiple room options. Ample private car parking space. Need to book in advance. Charges are quite reasonable.

The property is very close to Deulti rail station, we went for a day outing. It is also easily accessible by road. Overall the property is well maintained and good behaving staffs. Food is quite overpriced and not up to the mark.

One of the older resort out of Kolkata. Strategic location. Poor management and service. Food was ordinary at best and pricey. Optimization at the cost of unassuming customers is not sustainable in the modern business ecosystem. Not recommended.

Horrible Place. Please don't follow this positive reviews. Either Paid reviews or their team members or family friends did these reviews. I also followed this reviews and visited this property along with family. But after paying the payment for Meals then I realized the reality. One plus point they have a huge space so children can enjoy. But basic necessities like hand wash, Hygiene was not available. If you wish to do picnic with corporate groups or closed family group then only I will suggest this place but before going negotiate with them for exclusive usages of lawns or buffet area otherwise there is no separate arrangements of buffet, moreover it is not at all buffet it is more like catering service

The place is really very nice... Just mesmerizing... On 13.12.2023 we all are there for picnic...we enjoyed a lot... Communication is also available outside for visiting Roop Narayan River bank.
