Entrance fee: Free Camp John Hay Forest Bathing Trail is scenic and picturesque. It is surrounded by signages and reminders for trailers. Also, there are poems printed on trees to enhance the experience of tourists while passing through each point of the trail. It's a nice place to unwind and a new spot from the bustling city of Baguio. Aside from that, it gives an overlooking view of the mountains of Benguet and Baguio. Don't forget to listen to the tweeting birds and swaying pine trees ushered by the cold breeze.

A must try if you are in Baguio City. The forest bathing trail is about 3 hours hike at least for me including the stops. Inspired by the Japanese activity shinrin yoku this trail is truly a place to relax and to seek rest and respite. Make sure that you are prepared for a 3 hour hike, bring water and some food to energize you during the hike. DO NOT litter. Enjoy the sound of the forest as well as the cold weather deeper inside the forest the temperature is colder, bring a sweater or jacket.

Doing this trail was accidental. Out early in the morning at 6am planning only to have a leisurely walk on new years eve, we came across this entrance "Forest Bathing Trail", then we enter and exited the trail at 9am. I was with my 66 year old mother. It was fun for us as we always embrace nature and not so many people at that time. As we reach Point 8, we need to ask around as there are no longer signs which where to go, but we finally figure it out. Should we do it all over again? DEFINITELY!

The Forest Bathing Trail provides an opportunity to fully immerse oneself in nature. It is an easy trail and fairly safe. I started at Point 1 which is at the far end of a parking lot at Scout Hill. Early in the trail, there are lots of markers though these become sparse farther along. I recommend hiking very early in the morning as there are lesser people and you can fully enjoy the serenity. Trail is also perfect for trail runs as I've encountered several runners on my hike. By the way, there is an important marker with an emergency contact number. Be sure to take a picture of it just in case.

I was born and raised in Baguio City but had to go work abroad for a comfortable life for my family and me. Camp John Hay was very beautiful and very green/naturistic(full of trees) when it was under the americans, it changed a lot under the new mgt., its still beautiful until now but a bit deforested and i hate it....i discovered FBT last April 2022, i thank God that i did, it helps me a lot mentally/psychologically, physically secondary. My only concern is that some visitors litter the area, i saw cigarette butts, mask, etc., wish they had the decency not to do so. I luvs Baguio City so much, it's home for me and it hurts me that some people don't know the words NO LITTERING....please to all my kailyans/kababaguios, let's make Baguio City CLEAN and GREEN(trees), no more cutting trees unless very necessary and no more new infrastructures/buildings, let's plant trees instead. Let's take care of our BAGUIO CITY.

it was quite an experience.. i must say however, that i wish they would have a guide stationed every kilometer. for safety reasons primarily. because it was a hike between newbies and average levels.
