Ate here everyday that we were in Baguio because we love the home-cooked style. Plus the price is definitely a great selling point Highly recommend their chicken (tastes good even without any sauce) and their cinnamon twists (100 times better than Starbucks' cinnamon roll). The only thing I didn't like was their liempo. Seemed to have some star anise used on it. It definitely gets busy on weekends and we saw really long cues for lunch until dinner.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that will fill your tummy after a long walk or travel in Baguio, then Good Taste Restaurant is just the right place for you, your family and friends. But mind that the taste of their food is not extraordinary, when we ate there, the food tasted like an upgraded canteen food. No offense, it’s not bad but it wasn’t really over the top. I think their main selling point is that the servings are really generous that it will definitely satisfy your hunger, rather than your palate. The price Very affordable, especially for groups. The service The waiters were very attentive and agile. The restaurant is using robots to deliver your order, and the serving time isn’t bad; it’s just around 8-10 mins. Overall, it was a very good dining experience.

Although line is long, the food is worth the wait. They offer various meals, from rice meals, platters, fried rice, beverages, and even desserts! I would suggest to try their famous fried chicken and their Blueberry Cream cheese! Price is affordable. They give generous servings on their meals. No hidden charges at all. Will come back here soon!

There is always a line but during peak hours (Lunchtime and Dinner) but the wait is worth it since you get value for money. The serving is generous and the taste is good.

Our booked staycation is just across from GOOD TASTE RESTAURANT. They're open from 6 am to 12 midnight. The queue is crazy, but I took the opportunity to buy around 10:28 pm and got a cream puff to go! It's incredibly delicious, and for 30 pesos, it's filled to the brim. You'll crave the taste. So, waiting in line is truly worth it.

There is a reason why this restaurant is one of the best in the city. Delicious food at an affordable price, coupled with somewhat modern technological service, I'm betting this is the reason why people would wait for an hour in the line. Oh, and the robot serving the food is so adorable.

Good food and dining place especially for large groups and/or families. Large portions of food for a very good price. Quite tasty as well. You'll always encounter long lines when dining here but it surprisingly moves very quickly!

They open at 11:00 am and this was the line of people waiting to get seats before 11am. We waited for about 15-20 minutes and it was worth the wait. Spent only 660 with all these food and drinks. The food was superb and very delicious with big servings! Staff are attentive. Maximum dining time is 2 hours. They also have a bakeshop inside where you can take out cakes and breads. Definitely must try!

The foods are okay. They have very generous servings and the price is really affordable. They have a wide array of food to order which I find convenient. Just imagine eating in a restaurant in Binondo but you can also order chocolate chip cookies. It's that wide.

It's the best restaurant in Baguio so far. Be prepared, the waiting queue is long but worth it when your order arrives. The food is so appetizing and the servings are generous, you'll be sure to take home leftovers. Enjoy your meal always!

Affordable and satisfying food. The place, is big, but due to popularity people have to stand in line before they can enter. Car parking at the basement is always full also. To avoid these scenarios, we decided to dine in around 4pm instead and it was really worth the wait. Another thing, they have this cool robot like a waiter who serves food.

The ambiance is cool. It has a diner vibe. The food was just okay. If I had to rate it out of 10 it would be a 5/10. Nothing amazing. The food was also served to us cold which was really weird. If ever you eat here try the liempo as it was the only dish we actually ate and finished.

We were early enough that there was still a small queue. We ordered lots without knowing about the portions. We ended up taking them home, as it was our last day during our visit. Great value for the food. A staple restaurant in Baguio City that you must visit at least once.

A huge restaurant suited for large party and family. Their menu has a lot of items marked for 4-pax portion so it may be hard to try a lot of food in a smaller group. We saw people pack takeways for their leftovers. The food here comes in abundance for great value. A lot of people recommend the buttered chicken but I found it to be too sweet. The beef and broccoli was great, with chunky meat and crunchy broccoli. My favorite was the grilled spare ribs, large portion and very tasty. All their dessert options are decent but I'd always go for the cream puff. The restaurant spans over 3 floors but orders come out very fast and waiters for the most part quite attentive. I came here a couple times during my stay in Baguio and hung out for over 2 hours each time and felt no pressure to have to leave. During weekends there's a long line of people waiting to go in although it moves relatively fast.

Popular food stop with mostly Chinese style cusine, wide selection with combo meal, solo meal and budget meal. No doubt that the food is good taste. With pastry and bakery shop inside. Resto is clean, well lit atmosphere and relaxing ambiance. Robot assistant delivery for added attraction. Staffs are attentive and respectful. Long queue line outside. Limited parking space.

The name definitely speaks for itself. A must when in Baguio. Old Filipino-Chinese style cuisine that boasts homey but flavorful items perfect for a high mountain weather. The location and building has withstood the times but still has a very large floor area, great lighting with alot of windows letting in all the natural light. No need for any air-conditioning system as the cool climate weather will take care of that even when indoors. You'll notice that the ambiance still remains very classically simple that came from the 90s era and even the staff's uniform didn't ugrade at all. But that's the beauty of it as they still remain what they we're and are currently and thier food items replicates it. All food being served is served on large quantity despite the pricing being a fraction compared in the Metro. Parking space is available but has fee limited slots you can park to adjacent buildings or at burnham park as it's just 2-5mins walking distance.. Kindly give a LIKE πŸ‘ if this helps! The place is popular and is crowded. Although management at entrance control the customers, the service of food may take awhile. Inside is huge, most tables are for group of people. Dishes are affordable and serve in generous amount. Taste also did not disappoint, all good for its price.

Cheap price for big servings. Not only that, the dishes are really tasty. Plus, they have cute robots to serve 😁😁😁 . But if you're planning to eat here, best to go at least an hour before the time you plan to eat. Line gets soooooo long.

Now I get why many people often go here whenever they come to Baguio. The name embodies their food, no actually, this place should be named BETTER TASTE. Homey, comforting, palatable dishes, with big servings. This restau is very organized, from the queuing until bill-out, we are so satisfied. The stir-fry veggies are crispy flavorful, you can really notice that the ingredients are freshly harvested. The buttered chicken is also good, as well as the beef broccoli melts in the mouth. Their sinigang na baboy is yummy! Perfect for a cold night is Baguio. It's a simple, yet amazing dining experience here in Baguio. We will definitely be back.

Can I just start with how massive their portions are? A plated meal can easily feed two people! We knew beforehand that they had huge servings, but wow, I still didn't expect in real life haha. Worth the price, staff were a bit maybe tired but still okay to deal with. At least the robot was a fun sight!

This is one of the restaurants I wanted to visit in Baguio! It was a fun experience, I'd say. The less fun exp. would be the waiting time. Despite of what I've heard, we only waited for 30 minutes. Also, the line may be long, but it was fast flowing. We weren't stuck at our lines. Every few minutes, we would move. As I've entered, I think the reason is that they have 3(?) floors for dine in customers. It was a BIG restaurant. Everyone can be accomodated and will always have free seats. As for the price/quality, I cannot complain. I am so surprised on how they can manage to price their meals at such a low price while quantity (and quality) isn't suffering. But, don't expect TOO MUCH with taste. It's nice enough but not extremely, insanely, and godly good. Next time, I hope I'll get to try their pastries!! Labli approved! P.s. Sinigang tastes different, tastes more like pangat?

Extremely generous with the food serving. Wasn’t able to finish everything, even if they all tasted good. Bought their blueberry cheesecake to go, and it is my new favorite cheesecake ever! A definite must try. The atmosphere isn’t all that great, since it was dinner time, we had to line up even on a weekday, and the inside was very loud. Overall, I understand why it was so crowded because eating here was worth it.

We didn’t have to wait in line more than 15 minutes. We had the butter and garlic chicken and pancit miki bihon. The chicken was good but had some pieces w lots of fat. The Pac it was very good and the serving size were enough for 4 people. The service was great as it was delivered by a robot. Overall a fun and tasty dining experience. Would recommend.

Highly recommended and a must visit restaurant in Baguio! If you are first time to visit Baguio, you should eat here. We've been here on Dec. 2018 once and twice on Feb. 2020. It is a medium priced restaurant with 3 floors and great view in the upper floors. There's always a long line but you will not wait for too long. One time we got there early in the morning, there was no line at all. I think it's because they just opened. The food we ordered were really good and tasty just like the name of their restaurant. I think all of their food are also good not only what we ordered. We got so full every time we eat here. Their staff are also attentive. We will definitely eat here again.

This place is where local most eat. The food is great and price is reasonably cheap but the quality is top notch for a Chinese food. Definitely a recommended place.

It's an experience than dining. Good Quantity of food. Of course the service is fast as the food is not prepared per order, so you will find it bit cold.

(Nov 2021) Food tastes bland. Service is non-existent. If your only reason in trying this restaurant is affordability, you're better off eating at other establishments nearby. Takes them 30 mins to serve coffee and hot milo. i recommend changing their brand from "Good taste restaurant" to "Average taste restaurant".

  • 5/5 Nixon C. 5 months ago on Google
This restaurant exceeded our expectations! After visiting a strawberry farm and before our return to Cavite, we decided to stop by "Good Taste Restaurant" for lunch around 10 am, knowing that the lines could get quite long. We arrived early and waited for about 30 minutes to be seated. Good Taste Restaurant is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a budget-friendly place to enjoy a hearty meal. Despite its affordability, the portions are incredibly generous. The food is not only delicious but also served in a clean and welcoming environment. The robot service adds a fun and unique touch to the dining experience. One thing to note is that the restaurant is always bustling with customers, filling up tables even up to the 6th floor of the building, 24/7. It's an excellent option for large families as they can comfortably accommodate everyone. However, the only drawback is the limited parking space, which often results in a wait for a spot. We ended up parking at a nearby gas station. Among the dishes we tried, the Fried Rice, Sinigang na Hipon, and the famous Buttered Chicken were my favorites. The affordability of the food, combined with the generous servings, makes this restaurant a top recommendation for anyone who enjoys indulging in delicious dishes without worrying about the bill. In the end, everyone left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied!

It's been a while since I've been to Baguio and this is the first time I tried eating here. I really love how the food is freshly cooked and the serving is good for 2 person for a cheap price. Highly recommend this food when you go to Baguio and for sure not only you but your tummy will enjoy it.

The pictures of food in the menu does not quite resemble that of the actual food. It was... More than what the pictures shows!!! Omg, I thought I could eat my fill for 299 pesos, it can actually feed a family of 3. I was so devastated that I cannot finish all of it. Still, I strengthened my resolve and ate all of it. I was full for half a day after that. Sadly, they do not serve real tea. Only from small packets called a teabag. I miss drinking Chinese green tea.

One of the best food place in Baguio. Must visit with families especially during special occasions. They offer lots of dishes mostly Chinese food. The servings are huge but tasty. Price are very affordable. They even have robot to serve and very amusing way of delivery food from the kitchen. Service crew are very welcoming and the place is very neat and clean.

The value king when it comes to group orders! Fast service and attentive staff. Everything on the menu seem decent though the chicken and pork meat were kind of tough. Their braised beef noodles are great though. They also have a cute robot server.

Huge servings at very affordable price!!! Don't forget to order their Buttered chicken, it's one of their best sellers. We ordered good for 2 persons but when the food came it can fill up 5 stomachs. Enjoy!

Great Taste.. not just good. You cant be at Baguio and not eat here. It is our mandatory place to visit. Good food, good price. Cons now, long lines but worth the wait. They had to initiate a stop order due to the number of guests

  • 4/5 Steven Jake F. 2 years ago on Google
The space is large, making it ideal for family, friends, and colleagues. There are numerous meal options, and you'll be astonished at how inexpensive and tasty the food is. The restaurant has a long wait time, at least 20 minutes, plus another wait time for the food to be prepared, depending on when you go. Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant, particularly their Buko pandan, which has a distinct flavor when compared to the standard; you can taste the difference for yourself.

The qeue was long but the turnover time is reasonable. The place caters to big grouo dine in as well. Taste wise, the place lives up to its name and affordability definitely adds to the appeal. Over all a good experience.
