👍 My favorite Korean Restaurant in Baguio. Unknown Korean restaurant a few years back but made a name for itself for having a good selection of meat and affordable prices. It's now an open secret. The meat is grilled above portable burners. I heard that this place was a butcher shop that imports meat... People often mention Korean, meat, Baguio,

My favorite Korean Restaurant in Baguio. Unknown Korean restaurant a few years back but made a name for itself for having a good selection of meat and affordable prices. It's now an open secret. The meat is grilled above portable burners. I heard that this place was a butcher shop that imports meat and distributes it to the other Korean restaurants. You can also buy meat from them to take home to cook yourself. They have large mushrooms at only 100 an order. Lots of young Koreans studying in Baguio frequent the place. With your order comes free Dae Jang jigae and at times free softdrinks. The rice they use is the local mountain rice. The other thing I like is the inclusion of sesame leaves in the basket of wraps. The place is spartan with a combination of various megabloc chairs and tables but you won't care. Place gets crowded at times but you'll always somehow find a table especially since they have expanded. Prices are very reasonable. There are no frills. No nonsense. It's a place you go to to eat Korean food. Strong Wi-Fi. Accepts only Cash. They do not have a dedicated parking area but when it gets dark you can park along the street. I have been eating here from the time they opened and every time I'm here in Baguio

On the third day of our visit to Baguio last August, my husband and I decided to dine at Pearl Meat Korean Restaurant, conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from our hotel, Eurotel. Despite the rain and chilly weather, we were eagerly excited about our meal. Upon our arrival, the welcoming crew handed us menus, and we opted for the 2nd combo, which included unlimited side dishes, ramen, and we bought two servings of cheese (not included in the combo)Little did we know that we wouldn't need refills because the initial servings were so filling. The mandu was a standout, and we even had a humorous debate about who would get the coveted third piece! The meat was incredibly delicious, especially the flavored variety (I can't recall the name). All the side dishes were equally delightful, as was the iced tea. The ramyeon , with its cheesy and spicy flavors, perfectly suited my taste. We were so impressed with the food that we ended up buying some baby potatoes and kimchi to take home, as they were too delicious to resist! It was truly a memorable dining experience. 😄🍜🧀

The place is spotless, and the staff goes out of their way to be accommodating. They offer a buffet-style array of side dishes, providing a diverse selection for diners to choose from. The black rice and soup stand out for their excellent taste, accompanied by a complimentary bottle of apple tea. The side dishes are flavorful without being overly salty or spiced. A unique touch is the inclusion of perilla leaf, a rarity in Manila's samgyup spots but a familiar sight in K-dramas. The unlimited option is attractively priced at 499, offering three kinds of meats, including thin beef and pork.

Korean style cook your own pork or beef restaurant. Plenty of choice foods for lettuce wrap. Allowed one free iced tea drink from refrigerator. High charge for leftovers. Not the best customer service.

We are huge fans of the place. Haven't eaten there yet but have purchased, on a regular basis, various tender cuts of meat and marinated pork bulgogi for k-bbq night . They also sell yummy fresh kimchi and kimchi radish that's super addictive. Try their homemade soy bean paste. I can't say enough nice things about this place. Its priced reasonably too!

We had dinner here for 499 pesos per person for samgyupsal. It's self-service, so you get your own food. The place is welcoming, with many Korean people eating there. That's why I think this place is popular in Baguio. For meat, they offer three kinds, and the side dishes include kimchi, steamed egg, japchae, radish, and sauces. Must visit if you want an authentic Korean Samgyupsal since the owner is a Korean.

Surprised at how cheap the place is despite offering premium meats. When you're in Baguio and just in the mood for korean food this place is a must visit. Not only do they serve premium woosamgyup, their sides are super delicious too. I really enjoyed the salad and soup. Reminds me of song do won and joe snack grill, my favorite korean reso's in Manila which offers meat per plate but boy I got them unli here in Pearl. Kudos to the staff and owner that were so nice and hospitable.

My go to place for samgyeopsal. Not a fancy place but the food is just right. I also like their pajori which i think is a must have in korean bbq. You can also opt to buy quality meat and other samgyeopsal needs for picnics or just to enjoy at home.

The staff were impolite when I asked them about the bill. Me and my friend just want to share the amount of that diner but they requested us need to eat all the things in the table even though I told them I will finish. When I can not get the bill, I still tried to finished according their speak. When the table just have the the soup, a little bit Kimchi, and 1 lecture, they keep asked me eat all the thing in the table? Because I choose Buffet and if I’m not dinish they will not give me the bill. I talk with the owner, he don’t understand the problem I had, he still talking about the time we eating there even though it still in time of their rule. It was terrible experience, I will neva go back this terrible place again.

Polite staff patiently explained that their menu now exclusively focuses on their beef/pork offerings.

I enjoy here with friends or solo.. One of the samgyupsal places i know where you can order Solo.. They have fresh meat since they are a meat shop itself.. What made them different, is their Perilla Leaf.. thats included with the greens they serve.. #nasanKaJJ
