Rooms: Clean, decent space, complete toiletries, shower heater works, which is a must have in a cold place like Baguio. However if you increase the water flow the heater can't keep up. The room I got has no mini fridge, but then again it's Baguio, water gets chilled even if it's just placed on counter tops. Services: Staff are nice, helpful and accommodating. We ran into a small problem where the 3rd party service mistakenly cancelled one of our bookings. But the staff helped us out and we were lucky enough to book the remaining room. I'd love to have water dispensers per floor rather than going downstairs everytime. Oh and as per writing of this review, their elevator isn't working, hope that gets sorted out soon. Location: If you're okay with moderate walking, you can reach Burnham park in just about 20-25 minutes. The nearest convenience store is around 8 to 10 minute walk. There's a Korean restaurant just beside the hotel. Parking can be tricky though, but you can double park and have the valet move your car for you. There's roadside and basement parking.

For me, I think this is a decent hotel naman. They have buffet breakfast (also dinner). Their staff is very accommodating like they were the ones getting us a Taxi. I don't know if it's just our room but it's kinda creepy. I can hear scratching and tapping on windows at night. They need to change the lighting here, it doesn't look lively - rather it looked HAUNTED.

(This review is made after our 5th time in Chalet Hotel) PROS - it is very affordable - sometimes they offer buffet breakfast and other days plated breakfast (depending on the no. of people checked in for that particular day only) - staff are accommodating (generally fast service) - free wifi - netflix is available (not sure if it is the same with the other rooms) - hotel is easy to go to and situated in a very good location CONS - the sofa smelled really old (dusty) - sometimes the water from the shower has very minimal output - very limited parking space / difficult to park if you own an SUV (basement) - Basement parking smelled really really bad ๐Ÿ˜ณ (I hope they can work on this) - We got the premier suite and the room was very spacious, it was very nice but the size of the tv (32inch) inside the premier suit is not proportionate to the size of the room. Would we comeback? YES because the hotel is value for money ๐Ÿ˜Š Would I recommend? Still a yes despite the criticisms. :) I just feel like it was cleaner before. Food was better before. Btw air-conditioning is available in each room. No more unlimited coffee :(

Our premiere suite was great with an awesome view. The included breakfast and dinner could definitely be better. The elevator was out of order for our entire stay. Parking is minimal, but the location was central to most attractions.

the location is good, commuting is not difficult, the staff are kind, the hotel is clean. if your room is on the side of the road it's a bit noisy but if it's late at night there are few cars passing by. We have a nice stay here. I recommend it. They also have a complimentary dinner and its delicious but always the same choices of menu so if you will stay there more than 3 nights you will get the same foods, but you can order a different menu of course you need to pay๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ˜‰

Every staff are so welcoming and attentive during our stay. Food is okay, the view is great if youโ€™re staying in a high floor (Iโ€™m guessing 5th floor has the most stunning view particularly room 501-502), the view on lower level is some broken garage cars. the concierge is ABSOLUTELY very helpful, accommodated us from changing our rooms to booking and extending our stay with 20% discount. We super loved our stay here and even extended our 2day trip to 4. Only cons โ€” the elevator was not working during our entire stay (4 days straight). The dining area is not as big as the pictures online, but has a very nice view. Walking distance to every nearby best restaurant in town. Driving and parking was very convenient, with 24/7 security. Almost 5-20 mins away from every tourist spots which made our travel a lot easier and spontaneous! ๐ŸŒŸ

Room was surprisingly nice for the price. We went with just the standard since it was going to be our first time here. It was spacious enough and the bathroom was decent (good temp control on the shower and it wasn't cramped) They had great wifi which is somehow uncommon for hotels. TV had good cable and reception was decent. The breakfast buffet was nothing too fancy but they still had a nice spread. They cleaned our room while we were out which is always welcome but they took out the toothbrushes they provided to us for some reason and couldn't replace them when we asked so I'd say customer service is just ok. Best part of it all was that they didn't ask for a security deposit lol. There's a nice Korean restaurant a few steps outside and there's a bit of a walking distance to get to where you'd usually want to go in Baguio. Overall, a surprisingly pleasant stay.

07/2022 A simple hotel with the essentials. It is the people / staff who work there which makes it a great place to stay. They have superb customer service who do the extra mile for requests even when you just ask questions. They were very responsive. All the staff were polite and helpful. Their churros with hot chocolate dip is love. 05/2022 They have a spacious premier double room. It was clean and tidy. They offer simple but delicious breakfast. They may need to improve on keeping the foods hot for buffet. I am not sure but I think they only offer plated breakfast during weekdays and breakfast buffet on weekends. Their staff were friendly and amazing. Rooms were cleaned and beddings and towels were changed daily.

Very friendly and attentive staff, and were very quick to take action especially when we had a situation in our room. The room is kept clean and amenities such as coffee, water, and toiletries are replaced every day. Wi-fi connection is good, I was able to work during our stay. They offer buffet breakfast on days with high occupancy and set meals on other days. We had also availed of their dinner promo which were already included in the daily room rate. Definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again on our next visit to Baguio.

Room is spacious and CLEAN. They provide toiletries and complimentary bottled water. Breakfast is buffet style which tastes very good btw. Internet connection is not that strong inside the room. Overall, you can enjoy and have that Baguio city feels.

Staffs are very welcoming and accommodating. One of my fam member is in a wheelchair and their elevator was currently out of order. Fortunately, we were reassigned to rooms near the lobby which is actually very convenient. Our rooms have a good view of pine tree with many pine cones which my 5 yr old son enjoyed a lot. We were surprised with a free buffet dinner! ๐Ÿ˜‡ Their staff on night shift is very reliable and understanding for everything that I asked for. Their buffet breakfast is really satisfying. With many choices and satisfactory taste, we enjoyed it alot. We had a very relaxing stay. Itโ€™s only for a night but I can say itโ€™s worth the money. Would have been better if the hotel name outside is brighten up with a light, seems it wasnt working well during our stay. Anyway, Im glad I chose it . Ah, the rooms with double bed and a sofa bed is better than the room with large bed with a sofa bed if you are a couple with 2 kids around 2-5. Loved it ๐Ÿ˜Š

The balance of price and value is not great. The place should be good 10 or 15 years ago, but now common facilities are weary. Windows and floors are not clean enough. Wish renovate the place cause the location is quite good.

We had a great stay here. The staff was very accommodating to help my father in wheelchair. We were able to reserve the PWD room, which is on the first floor right next to elevator. Glad we got that room because the elevator was out of order. The view from the lobby/dining area & room was stunning. Our stay included breakfast buffet & dinner (limited menu). Few parking spots in front of lobby, on a first come, first serve status. There was a sign that said valet parking is complementary for guests, but we didnโ€™t use it. Security guard out front was always helpful when backing out of parking spot. Would stay again next time Iโ€™m in Baguio!

Nothing bad to say. It was perfection. The anesthetics of the hotel is commendable. Of course, the non-working elevator sucks but it's fine since our room is just on the 2nd floor. I hope it's just a temporary thing. We'll be back.

Room was small and pricey as compared to other hotels in the area. Spring bed was too soft and probably worn out. Sink faucet not working so I had to brush teeth in shower. Elevator in maintenance.

Things I liked The place was pretty accessible, you can walk (if you prefer) towards SM Baguio and Baguio Cathedral in under 20 minutes. The staff are friendly they always greet you when you pass by. They are also accommodating. The room and bed is clean and big enough, we also have a big sofa in the room so our room could easily fit 3 person. The free breakfast buffet is ok good selection. Things I did not like Parking space is not sufficient, on busy days cars will overlap each other as it you are playing "Parking Escape" (see google playstore). For your connivance you may leave your car keys to the staff so they can play the parking escape game on your behalf. Street parking will be an option at your own risk of course. The lights in the room are all little warm lights, though there is a big window for natural light to come in but at night it will be a challenge. The water on the shower area always spills over the toilet area the curtain is not enough to contain the water in the shower area not there is no divider between the two sections so if you are bothered by wet toilet area you have to use a lot of towel to dry the toilet section otherwise the it will get muddy when you enter with your shoes on. Will I book again? Sure but not on peak seasons.

We stayed here for 4d3n last weekend. 3star - Room - Though we had a little inconvinience upon checking in because they are giving us a different room base on our booking, all was sorted out the next day. Turns out our room was not available on our booking date even though we managed to book it already with them. 5star - breakfast 5star - location 5star - hospitality 3star - Parking - the space is limited and very challenging. If you see this as a deal breaker, I suggest book a different Hotel.

Good hotel staff service but there are times that you could hear the sound from the other room. Great view of the mountains.

Stayed here during a tropical storm... There was an outage in most of the city. I highly recommend this place for tourists. It's cheaper than most hotels, but gives a good first impression of the city. It doesn't have great views, but that is all.

Room 501 had great view and very spacious with separate toilet and shower room. The place seem secure since there's security guard on site, I think 24 hrs. The staff are friendly and very attentive/helpful. We had free breakfast and dinner, the food was average, not too bad, and there's a variety of selections. Parking was not good, esp on the roadside. The elevator was not working the 3 days we were there and it made it very difficult for elders to go up and down the stairs, esp carrying some bags. The hot water went out at least 3 times, and 1 of those times I was already in the shower. The maintenance guy came quickly and fixed it right away but it was very inconvenient and annoying. It was scary putting the key card in the slot to have the electricity come on, it sounded like something was gonna pop and you're gonna get electrocuted. The pillows made it very difficult to get sleep at night. No hand towels were provided, only bath towels. And they really need to get rid of the dingy/dirty-looking towels you step on when you get out of the shower, they look really bad and gives the hotel a bAd rep.

Overall an ok place to sleep and freshen up if you plan to spend most of your day going around and sightseeing in Baguio, but maybe not for a staycation. Staff were very helpful. We were provided a clothes iron upon request, and we were also able to store our bags at the lobby after checkout.

This is my 4th time staying here. Our first time was 11 years ago! You could say Chalet has been my go-to place whenever we visit. Why do we keep coming back? The rooms and the timeless aesthetic. Some rooms might be better maintained than others but we always appreciate the location, the parking, and especially the courteous staff. I initially booked through agoda and made a grave mistake by booking the wrong dates, Miss Dianne of Chalet assisted me on how to apply for a full refund even if the promo indicated non-refundable. Our refund is currently being processed i couldnt be more grateful. We chose to stay at the premiere suite this time and my gosh, the experience of waking up to a mountain view sunrise was just surreal! I was even able to sight a hawk pass by our bedroom window! I think this tops most 5-star hotels. They provided a complimentary dinner for two probably because there was no breakfast buffet during weekdays. But im not complaining! Parking was available. The parking area does smell of drain pipe. Their elevator is still being serviced, but we didnt mind going up 1 flight of stairs. Yes, the value for money and the experience is worth it, and we will come back again. ๐Ÿ™‚

Though standard room but it's good and the service is very satisfying. Requests are attended very fast. Hotel staff are very polite, kind and attentive. They all served with a smile. Location is not that city centered but very quiet.

The staff was nice for the most part. Breakfast was awful. The room was ok. But my problem is that this is not a 3-star hotel. I was there for two weeks and the elevator never worked, the shower was ice cold and the generator constantly went off in the middle of the night. I don't mind roughing it for 1 K PHP but over 3k PHP? Oye!

Had a great experience here. Staff was really accomodating and friendly, would like to commend Ms.Dianne for helping me with my booking. Location is good also, close to restaurants and bars. Room is good also, functional for a weekend stay. I will definitely come back.

Room was clean, shower heater works, thick blankets on the comfy bed, towels and toiletries were provided. Friendly and reliable staff, great customer service. And near key locations like Camp john Hay, SM, grumpy joe, etc. Will book again if ever I come back to Baguio.
