G1 is an overpriced hotel. We didn’t get our money’s worth here. We won’t be staying here again for sure. The hotel’s well thought-out design of the building’s exterior and common areas was in stark contrast with the room’s inconveniences. Our room didn’t have a closet, not even a small one, nor a luggage rack. What our room had for clothes was a two-piece wall hook. The shower didn’t have a rack. We had to place our toiletries on the floor. Curtains were too long and neither covered the window nor block sunlight fully. We were puzzled by the portable air-con unit and at the same time centralized air-conditioning. The portable air-con ate up space in our already small room and its large exhaust hose wasn’t a pretty sight. We wondered if that exhaust hose was regularly cleaned because the complimentary bottles of drinking water and teacups were placed beside it.

Stayed on a Friday night, the only advantage of booking this hotel is its location (few steps away SM Baguio, Session Road and Burnham). The management of the hotel needs improvement, they lack foresight. We were checked in late due to housekeeping issues, they should've added more manpower during peak days. The room is small with no cabinets. Maybe I was expecting too much, but this hotel has one of the highest reviews in the area, too bad they didn't perform during our stay. Will not recommend to anyone.

We fell in love with the hotel’s location and the cleanliness but what would make us come back was the warmth and the high-level of customer service they provided. Thanks for attending to all our concerns and requests. You guys are good at your jobs.

The staff are friendly, but I didn't like our room. The view from the balcony was 'unpleasant'. The hotel location is good, SM, Baguio Cathedral, Session Road and Genesis bus station are near, walking distance.

The room we had was really small. There was no place to put things on. There was only 1 chair and 1 very small side table. The stairs also looked creepy. But what made this place priceless for me was the excellent service from the staff and the parking. Staff quickly responded to requests and were very friendly. Since this hotel is by session road, it's good for travelers without cars.

Reception to guests are great. The room I stay at is just enough for one, worth the price. Overall, worth recommending. This is just 3 minutes away from SM Baguio. Walking distance: Burnham Park, Baguio City Market, Baguio Museum, and Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral

We stayed here again because our previous experience was great. Unfortunately, we were greatly disappointed the second time we stayed here. Our room was not cleaned, even though we hung the sign on the door. The staff I talked to said someone did see the sign and took note, but still didn't clean the room. We weren't able to sleep and rest well the whole stay because the bar beside them was playing loud bass music until 2am/3am. Complained to the front desk, but they didn't do anything and just said that the bar's closing time varies. The location of the hotel is great, but we're very dissatisfied and disappointed with our experience this time. Won't be staying here again until they improve their service, and do something with the noise.

Location is what puts this place above others. Walking distance to most of the things one has to do, business or pleasure. Shopping, dining, banking, the cathedral, and the lake park is just down the road. But the rooms are small and designed just for sleeping and showers. Although they have a small balcony and if you get lucky you get one with a nice view. No place to hang your clothes or any drawers to fold them into. So I hung my clothes on the T.V. which didn't have any channels or videos to watch unless you requested from the front desk. There is a safe in the room and free WiFi is provided. One thing I noticed is it is more quite as the noises from the nearby road is muffled by the exterior wall design.

Good place to stay. Location is great for central biz district, Sessions Road, bus station, and the mall. Feeling lazy? They have a good place to eat and drink in the lobby. Wi-Fi is good. Rooftop deck is great for sunset. One big issue, if you are light sleeper stay OFF the street side as there is both late night traffic noise and morning vendors to keep or get you up. Also note, rooms are on the small size and a beat up on close inspection. I suppose because there is very little space to move and place things. Recommend but I will be checking other places in my return.

A little pricey for the size of the room and amenities inside. But it is near SM Baguio, Session, and the bus terminal. The AC is just a fan. It was raining for a few days when I checked in, the smell of mold was really strong. I wanted to heat up the room by turning the temperature to 30°C, but it never warmed up. Looks clean at first glance. It wasn't cleaned properly when I got there. There were tissue pieces under the bed, from the previous guests. Looked like they used it to wipe their snot. Overall, it was ok.

There was no hot water! I was not able to shower. I attempted to shower in the p.m. and the a.m. I complain to the front desk, but it fell on deaf ears. The rooms are small and there are no tables to put anything. The price is very high for what you got. The overall value is a complete failure. It’s also close to the main roads so it’s very loud with cars honking. The positives are the location being close to the mall. I left after 1 day. I moved to a better property.

Location was the only good thing about our stay at G1. Room floor + couch was stained upon entering. Could not sleep as the traffic was so loud, we were on the 10th floor and could hear every noise from ground level. We had to do our own laundry which was a bummer.

Beautiful rooms (although small), friendly staff, and excellent location. Free breakfast that comes with the room is okay, but not great.

Highly cooperative staff. Close to mall which is a huge plus. Ok view. Shower pressure is not desirable but serviceable. Doesn’t offer service mask or complementary lotion. Doors don’t close automatically. So remember to close them all the way.

stayed here from nov 12-14, 2021. got the standard solo room located in the 4th flr below the lobby. room is clean but sparsely decorated. theres a small table and chair with phone. tv has netflix but no cable. room is big enough for a solo traveller and cr is clean, with towels, soap/shampoo and toothpase/toothbrush provided. only 1 keycard given. AC is cold, bed and linens are good, had a good sleep. just across sm and bus terminal. session road is a few steps away. breakfast is silog type, but few seats available. very good value for money. though i suggest to put kettle and cups in every room. could come in handy for tourists to have that available in room

Beds are and clean, rooms relatively clean but carpets have stains in them. Booking through a 3rd party didn't inform us that we needed to show vaccine certificates but luckily we had them on hand. No decent view in the lower floors.

I went to a more expensive hotel, thinking it will be less of a hassle and stress. Damn, I was wrong. First, there's no automatic complimentary water and coffee. I need to ask them first. With that price, it should have been automatic. Then the major thing was, when I'm about to go out, I followed the EXIT sign, looking for the elevator/lift. I went to an aisle and the door shut. I was trapped inside a fire exit and the only way down is a steep no-handle stairs. I'm acrophobic hence couldn't climb down using that stairs. Tried to ring their number but there were no answer. Tried multiple times and someone picked up. I told them that I was trapped and they reassured me that they were on their way. After 10 to 15 mins, nobody was there. So I tried calling them again. Several phone calls and someone answered. They forgot that I was trapped! Appaling. What if that's a medical emergency? There were no apologies whatsoever. Not worth the cost. I should have booked my stay elsewhere.

All of their staffs are friendly, accommodating and very prompt with their guest’s requests. The room was clean and complete with appliances but small and crowded.

Friendly, accommodating staff. Reasonably priced considering its location. Room was a bit cramped though. Good view from the rooms on the left side at the back.

This will my go to hotel whenever I'm going in Baguio City. Great location. The room was nice even though it's smaller than the usual rooms. But it's all about the service. People working here are really nice and helpful.

Very good location indeed i think this is the main selling point. Hotel is small but quaint and clean. Our original room has a lot of things that arent working - hot shower doesnt work, aircon that doesnt get cold. They have a parking space but can only fit 8-10 cars so good luck to the one parked all the way in, good thing they have valet for this. But these have been compensated for/balanced by the fast responses of each of the crew. When you call them they are very fast to arrive and action on the matter. Also they quickly upgraded us because of the issues we were encountering. The pandq room’s really awesome/huge.. I am deducting one star because i have yet to see if they are going to improve the issues i mentioned earlier. I will definitely be back in this hotel, i even think it will be my hotel every time I am in baguio.

Good location. Friendly staff. Aircon is cold. Clean room. I wish that the floor in their shower area is inclined or have shower door so that it wont flood the toilet area. The floor area in their bathroom is flat so whenever you go shower, expect the whole floor will be all wet.

We went here last April 2023. The room was okay. It has everything you need. The location of the hotel is near SM Baguio and Burnham Park so if you want to visit the Night Market or shop and dine out, you can do so. It was also located near the bus terminal which is convenient if you're commuting.

The room was exactly what I needed -- a place to sleep, so nothing fancy! Normally, this will drag down the stars given but it did the opposite for me because of the unexpected courtesy provided and the service given with cheerful smiles from the staff. Have to specially mention Mr. Erik for the red carpet quality of service he's provided us. The next time I visit Baguio, G1 will be my first choice!

Very nice hotel. Great location - near the center and the bus station. It was very convenient while the Panagbenga flower festival. All is walking distance. The price was reasonable to what you get. Room is big and nice.

Very central location in a pretty building with parking and very friendly staff. Room is cozy and with blackout curtains (a must for me!). Tiny ref though. Decent bathroom, great view. Walking distance to SM, burnham and cathedral. Several eating spots nearby.

The ambiance feels at home. The food tasted alright as well as the drinks. A good place to hangout in the morning and in the afternoon.

G1 Lodge has a really nice ambiance. The wooden feel in the lobby/restaurant reminds me of summer camps. Claire and Christine from front desk helped my transaction to be smooth. Claire also helped with breakfast. Joseph was very proactive in helping as my things were heavy. All in all the staff were very helpful. It was good for the price. I gave it a 4 star because the cleanliness could be improved. The room smelt a bit musky but maybe it's also just Baguio weather and can't be helped.

Very great place to stay in Baguio, it's in the middle of yhe business district so it's very accesible and the tourist spots are near. The staff is very accommodating. If Baguio is open again I'll choose to stay here.
