Was recommended from a tourist desk upon arrival in the bus terminal. Was provided transport by their staff at a fair price. PROS: Front desk area ambience really nice and welcoming. Was greeted well by the receptionist. What’s funny is seeing the security guard sleeping on one of the wooden chairs. And come morning saw the receptionist sweeping off a dead cockroach😅 CONS: 1. PWD access ♿️- this place lacks this kind of service amenity. Saw an old man with a j-cane 🧑🏾‍🦯going up through a long flight of stairs and is a safety hazard. 2. NO ELEVATOR - Epic fail. Would be a struggle for those who have heavy luggages 🧳 and PWDs 3. HALLWAYS - seems like this place is conserving energy with some of the lobby lights 💡 are turned off. A safety hazard again. 4. CARPET FLOORING - really old, visible dust, dirt, and possible mildew. Its a “health hazard.” 5. ACCESS TO ROOM 🚪- surprised to see a room key with an ID-sized wooden plaque attached to the keys. Not ideal for walking around with this bulky item in your pocket. 6. ROOM/BATHROOM - spring mattress bed 🛏 - uncomfortable makes me itchy (if i had a blacklight, i would see all the hidden dirt), pillows and linen smells musty, walls stains, chair 🪑 stains, 🚽bathroom mirrors fading out, cracked ceiling lights and not enough lighting, shower stall doors don’t even close, shower head 🚿- super dirty and has psuedomonas bacteria 🦠 build-up (a “health hazard” again), no hot shower water, complimentary soap 🧼 seems old and hasnt been replaced for a long time to include container that looks like an old smoking ashtray, small cockroaches roaming around the room, rat 🐭 droppings on inside window ledge, damage window net screen, very old tube style 📺television, no portable refrigerator, no power outlets on on night stands, dirty electric fan on a makeshift stand, shower towels that smells like cigarettes. 7. FOOD - 🍳complimentary breakfast is mediocre. Had to pay P160 for a kids american breakfast made from a canned vienna sausage, 1 egg and two small toasts. Even my breakfast came with three 1 1/2” skinny longganisas. 8. SMOKING CAN INSIDE HOTEL PREMISES? Aren’t Baguio hotels supposed to be smoke free🚭? Its a “health hazard” again. 9. WIFI 📶 📳- don’t know what kind of WIFI service this place have but latency is so low that you can’t even browse the net or open google maps. 10. ROOM PRICING - too pricey ☹️and expensive for the poor services and amenities offered above. Overall, There are a lot of new hotels/inns and even Air BnBs 🏢🏡 in Baguio with way more better services and amenities to offer. If I am the owner, had the means and resources - I would overhaul/renovate 🔩🧰🔨this place, improve the quality and breakfast 🍳 served. It would make this hotel more ideal competitive and rack in more clients.

This place should be burned to the ground. It's cockroach infested.. I didnt get any sleep in our 2 days stay. And the staff just dont care. Its filty and disgusting..the carpet has not been cleaned for ages, the food is disgusting too, my coffee cup had lipstick on it and i wasnt wearing any.. Only means it was not washed. Dont go to this place even if it is recommended by the guys on the terminal. DON'T STAY ON THIS GOD FORSAKEN HOTEL... It's disgusting.

The room is dirty. There were bugs in the carpet. The room smells like ancient history. Everything looks really old. The linens felt like they have been there in that same bed for ages. Seemed like it never has been changed! Seriously, it won't make your stay in Baguio happy. No aircon. TV looks ancient too. Bad view since it is in the middle of the city. Its like when you get out of the hotel you wouldn't wanna come back. Right after we paid for two nights and went up to our room, we came down right away and asked for a refund. We just decided not to ruin our vacation. I swear, I will never stay in that hotel... But thankfully, they gave us our money back after an hour or so of pleading.. Well, we haven't really used anything there anyway.

They are the only hotel in Baguio that accommodate 24 hour check in (considering difficulty to get one on the spot), if you are type of person who expect too much on a hotel, this is not your place. But our family love the location considering the proximity to the baguio city public market 😁 session Road and Burnham Park. We availed the bigger room (3 big beds . And It has bath tub) my family enjoyed our over night stay and they want to come back to the place. It has a classic touch considering one of the oldest in city. Lighting inside the building and lobby makes it more adventury scary. No AC since Baguio is cold (hey why do you need one). Overall is your not a picky type person to a place to stay, this is your place.

This hotel sucks! They catter horrible customer service and the hotel is too old, not clean. They dont care on the customers' concern they just want income i guess! It is overpriced! They have dirty, stinky, full of bugs room! Their room smells bad as if not cleaned! Their carpet even the curtains and bedding smells old! Their room has cockroaches, their furnitures inside the room is dusty, cant even seat on it. Their comfort room is horrible too, with a very bad smell.. I checked out on the window and I saw cigarrete butts and they didnt even bother to clean it! What the hell, our vacation was horrible just because of this hotel! They even said customer complaints happens most of the time, customers even go to the police for complaints!. THEIR POLICY IS DECEIVING, THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR EXHAUSTED CUSTOMERS. We use to stay at affordable hotels way much cheaper than this HOTEL VILLA ROSAL and we are very pleased because the place is clean and comfy but HOTEL VILLA ROSAL is a big no no! We will never go back to that hotel! To those who are planning to visit Baguio please DO NOT go to this hotel!! This hotel will definitely spoil your vacation. Instead of having comfy night you will have a sleepless night and will feel to exhausted by simply staying there.. Better look for transient house! COCKROACHES....... IMAGINE THAT!

Not the best of hotels. Overpriced. Shower unit and toilet in urgent need of repairs and maintenance with stagnant water on the floor. Bedroom smells of mould, and needs a good clean and redecorating. The carpet was badly damaged and stained. And forget breakfast. Not good enough for the dog! However the reception area was well kept and inviting.

Very good location in the middle of the city. Plenty of options where to go foods resto shoping stores were just around the corner. The hotel is old. Their pest control is not perfect because small cockroaches were roaming at night... mosquitoes were annoing too. Hot and cold bath is excellent. Food is good for the hotel price....

One of the worst hotels. Not worth the money. We get constantly woken up by bugs and cockroaches. We were served a cold food for breakfast, told us they don’t have a microwave to reheat it. Dusty and incomplete toiletries. :(

Worst hotel I've ever stayed! 😖 (is this really a hotel???) 1. No Elevator 2. Incomplete toiletries 3. Bad ambiance 4. Dusty room 5. Limited options for breakfast (you cant have additional order even EXTRA RICE!) 6. WE DID NOT GET WHAT WE PAID FOR!! 😢😫 They ONLY have good Christmas Decorations. And THAT'S ALL!
