Went here some time ago thinking that maybe they had good service because they’ve been here for quite some time. So I went in and asked for a trim. What happened was that they butchered my hair. If my hair was gonna be cut that short I should have just gone to a barber who would have charged for a quarter of the price. Had to shorten everything because the haircut just looked weird. Luckily, hair grows back.

I asked for curtain bangs and they gave me the shortest and most uneven curtains you could ever see

If I could give this place zero stars I would, the salon is nice on the inside but is terrible service. I asked for a balayage and the hair stylist was inexperienced and I walked out with a botched hair job that I paid way too much for. Very overpriced for the job that was done, they originally said it would be 11000 but it ended up being over 12000. Do not go here, save your money and visit somewhere else. They were also taking foils straight off of someone else’s hair and putting them directly on my hair. They do not know how to do a balayage at this salon so if this is what you are looking for, do not go. I now have random lighter streaks of blonde at the top of my head that do not blend in with the rest of the colour. The photos taken right after I got my hair done are terrible but I feel bad posting them here because they are that bad.

NOW CALLED AMAVE rating it 0 what a waste of money and time. the interior design might deceive you, but they actually have a terrible, horrible, awful (every negative description i can think of) service. overpriced for a cheap looking result. the one who handled me was inexperienced, I can tell. She knew nothing about highlights and balayage. upon paying, they will be asking for an additional 1k for what they called “additional bleaching” take note that they only bleached some parts of my hair for highlights, I mean would have understand if they bleached all of my hair nonetheless they should have inform me first before doing so, cause I would have disagreed upon noticing they were bleaching more hair than they should (I know how it works because I had highlights many times). Regardless, I still gave them the benefit of the doubt…such disappointment.

they rebranded into "amave" and their salon looks pretty nice now. but don't let that fool you, their haircut service is really bad. the stylist's technique was so messy, and kept on insisting what they wanted. they did not follow the picture i showed at all and they gave me bangs that looked awful but tried to cover up with saying "this looks nice." they did not even offer shampoo until i had to ask. the person who shampoos was so rough for no reason. did not even use conditioner, which is a must for other salons! when she used the towel, she was borderline clawing my forehead and pulling my scalp apart and this is coming from someone with a high pain tolerance. the blowdry is not that good and they did not follow up with a flat iron. never going back there again

Sometime early last year, before the pandemic, I had a glam hair and make up session here. Wala lang pang FB profile picture lang. But still, the price is not cheap. So I was expecting great service and great outcome. I noticed that the makeup was not to my liking so before the session ended i made some suggestions to help steer the male (I don't think he's gay, he also has tattoos on his arms) makeup artist to what I wanted. Eh deadma si Sir. Hindi raw naman papangit, okay lang daw maging resulta. After the session I clearly was not happy with the outcome. But I could not pinpoint what's wrong until I had my picture taken at a studio. To my horror, Sir Make Up Artist made me look 10 to 20 years older than my age. E di WOW! Feeling ko nagpamake up ako for Halloween. Oh my goodness! I could not believe that I paid for this monstrosity to be done to me. By a so called professional make up artist!? He definitely does not have a place in that industry which I respect so much. If he will not be professional and efficient in his chosen craft. So sad and mad that I felt like I was robbed of the money I paid for the service. Never ever again will I go back there for anything at all. NO, THANK YOU!

I love the service. They even wash and put conditioner on my hair. Ill come back for sure! (I just don't understand the other reviews here. The man/gay whi gave me haircut was really nice and washed my hair for free. )

Worst service ever. Staff are so cranky and unaccommodating. We waited for almost an hour for a haircut. If only K haven’t waited for that long O would have leaved. Plus they aren’t that good.
