Entered through the Butterfly Sanctuary area in Scout Hill and excited through the Le Monet Hotel. We are novice trekkers with 2 kids in tow, was able to finish the trail in two hours. It should be easier for experienced hikers. Enjoyed the serene trail, cool breeze, tall trees, and the relaxed pace we set.

I did not expect that there is a trail good for exercise inside Camp John Hay. I love the mini trail which is reminiscent of Mt. Ulap in Itogon which is not too far from Baguio. I honestly needed forest bathing and Yellow Trail gave it for me. I met a lot along the way. It is safe and has lots of trail signs.

It took us around 30-40 minutes from the US Embassy gate to the Butterfly Sanctuary at a leisurely pace. Plenty of people walking as well as quite a few runners. The trail is mostly on level ground with a slight incline at times, but the trail is not very wide and there are portions with lots of gnarled roots and slippery rocks, as well as areas which were muddy due to recent rains, so the risk of potentially injurious falls exists. Might be an issue for those with mobility problems, but in general only a slight challenge as long as you watch your step. The trail is fairly straightforward but could use more signs.

Nice and very easy trail. Free to try it out. Good for people who wants to try hiking but afraid of it. This one is just to know how it feels inside the trail environment. It's instagramable. #eisenphireChecked

Overall a very good trekking experience with fresh mountain air. Needs to improve the signboard indicating the exit point. Shelter should be provided at strategic points in case it rains.

Loved the trail loop for mountainbikes, short but absolutely sweet. It's a single track technical course expect a lot roots from pine 🌲 but the view is phenomenal. Make sure you discover the trail after the US embassy marker, its behind the abandoned guard post.

Peaceful and serene trail amidst the pine trees. Stops with bamboo chimes along the trail offer ethnic and magical sounds orchestrated by the wind. This place reminds me of the Baguio I experienced in the 70's.

We went around 10AM. My dad and I had a hard time looking for the start of the trail, we went through the path where the horses were to get to the start. But when we started to walk along the path, it was a very wonderful walk. It was almost like a short escape from civilization, and there wasn't a single piece of trash in sight. The path was well taken care of, and the weather was nice. Not recommended for people who get tired easily, you should also watch your step all the way. I would love to go back to that trail and walk through it again. It was a very nice experience.

Got lost. Ended up in US soil and had to go to the main highway to take a taxi back to our car at the starting point. Not sure where exactly we went wrong, but the trail could use more signs. 🤭 otherwise a very nice and pleasant trail, despite the rain.

Entered through the exit, trekked towards the entrance..got lost couple of times. Signs are confusing. Even went to the restricted area (US residence) in search of shortcut because we were tired. We did not expect the trail to be that long and most of us were wearing the wrong footwear. Took us about 2 hours to finish. Lesson? Bring bottled water and wear rubber shoes at least

Whenever I need to be one with nature. I go here. So peaceful. Except when there are people who plays loud music on their speakers. (Happened during my last trek, the first ones were okay. I enjoyed it)

Camp John Hay is not far from Baguio city's center. Yellow Trail is a beautiful place for hiking through the woods. Not much difficult to walk, it however bifurcates and aintersects with other paths and the signage is not always clear and frequent as it should be.
