๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ So much fun! Highly recommend! The island is so beautiful! We had such a great time- you need to do this excursion! We played with the adorable pigs, relaxed in a hammock, went snorkeling, saw beautiful peacocks, and cute chickens and roosters sprinkled around. The beach was beautiful and not crow... Had a great time, pickup right next to Margaritaville restaurant on Paradise Island. Snorkeling was fun and lasted about 30 minutes, lots of fish to see! They only do it once because it takes some preparation to get everyone set up for snorkeling. Gear was good! Fins, mask, snorkel, a life jacket and a magnetic shark deterrent. After snorkeling you can go hangout on the beach and see the pigs. Drinks were unlimited and good! Beach was really nice as well. Not too many people, nice chairs and nice sand! Lunch was also great! Salad, rolls, hot dogs, jerk chicken, pasta salad and rice and peas. Walking around the grounds are fun, you feel like you are in a little jungle camp or something, it's quite a fun place to be. On top of the hill there is the bar, some places to sit and many hammocks in the jungle type area. Chickens and peacocks also roam the property. Clean bathrooms and freshwater showers were also nice. Boat ride was fun and smooth about 30 mins long. No complaints at all! Would recommend!

Highly recommended! The beach is absolutely pristine. The pigs are clearly well cared for and plenty of opportunity to interact with them. If you are not interested in the pigs- plenty of opportunity to sit by the beach, lounge in a hammock, snorkel or kayak. The highlight of our trip and worth every penny!

Definitely the highlight of our holiday! The pigs were awesome, the staff was very friendly, the Island is really nice and the drinks and food were on point. Snorkeling was very fun but i would have liked a bit more freedom as i was experienced ( they were telling us to stay behind them), but that was not that a big of a problem. Overall 5/5

This was a great excursion. I did a lot of research before I went. We were staying at Atlantis. The boat ride is about 25-30 minutes each way (about 3 miles east of Paradise island) which is much closer than Exuma. The price is a great value since you get lunch, snorkel and hang out with the pigs. The standard bar exceeded expectations as I didn't realize non-premium alcoholic drinks WERE included. No need to upgrade unless you want frozen drinks. Beautiful private beach. Plenty of shaded areas if it's too hot around the island. The staff was great, caring, informative and well organized. I would recommend Sandy Toes. A couple of interesting facts about Rose Island: -The island was home to a pineapple plantation centuries ago. -The island's coast was the filming location for the crash-landing of a Vulcan Bomber in the 1965 James Bond film Thunderball.

An amazing experience, especially since I'm from the Caribbean. It was different than what other countries have to offer. I swam with pigs ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ˜. Starting with a comfortable, scenic boat to the location, to the beautiful destination upon arrival. There was unlimited drinks, strategically placed hammocks to rest and the opportunity to feed the chickens and peacocks (again, a very amazing experience for a Caribbean girl). All this was before we hit the white sands and crystal clear water #RoseIsland is a gem. We had the opportunity to feed the pigs, swim with them and take pictures as well. Various shapes, colours and sizes...definitely one for the.memory books!

What a fun morning. They take you out by boat, about 30 min ride. You arrive at their private beach where if you snorkel, you go immediately to the snorkel shack for a $10 deposit; you get gear (fins, mask, snorkel) fully refundable. For about an hour, you snorkel with the team, and then you are free to wander around the beach/bar area. The drinks are included alcohol, water, and beer. You can relax on the beach, or every 30 minutes, they have three pigs out to swim with; they stay out for about 15 minutes and then go inside. We were not much for beach-going; we relaxed in the shade, and with the alcohol, it was an easy day. I would recommend everyone was friendly and helpful, and the boat rides were lovely coming and going.

Sandy Toes was an adventure to remember! The staff greeted us at the dock with the sweetest pigs and set the tone for an amazing time. The staff was beyond attentive and wonderful, and the hammocks/chairs were perfectly placed on the beach and grounds. They have a ton of extremely well trained pigs that we got to pet and I was even able to feed a peacock! 10/10 recommend! Do not skip this excursion!!

We came here for an excursion during our honeymoon this past week and oh my goodness you have to go! The trip was only about a 20-25 minute boat ride from Paradise Island. Once you got to Rose Island you were welcomed by some of the pigs. As soon as you saw the pigs you can see they were happy. The staff was super friendly from start to finish. We were able to go snorkeling, swim with the pigs and were provided a complementary lunch and open bar. Make sure to bring cash. There is a cash deposit for the snorkeling gear but you get it back. Lunch was delicious. We were able to enjoy some salad, chicken, and rice. They had water and lemonade too. Was a perfect meal for the day trip. Snorkeling was done at first. We had a rain cloud come in right as we finished up. It was perfect timing. The pigs come out about every 20-30 minutes to meet them all. The trainers were very informative about the pigs training and letting us be interactive with feeding them. You might want to watch your drinks though. Some of the pigs will knock them over. The pigs were such a wonderful encounter. One last recommendation is look to sign up through a vendor downtown if possible. It was a fairly costly trip going through the hotel. With all of that, Sandy Toes on Rose Island should be on your excursion list visiting the Bahamas.

A must do! Swimming the reef was absolutely amazing. Meeting all the piggies from all ages that swam with us was just a blast. Wonderful birds, great food, drinks, and wonderful service from all the hosts. Almost felt like you had a whole island to share with just a few. Boat ride in and out was just the right way to begin and end the experience.

Great excursion! Drinks were included and were good! The lunch was also great. The staff was friendly and informative and seemed to really love what they do with their pigs. The snorkeling is an added bonus we even saw a sea turtle! The beach was beautiful quiet and peaceful. They supply chairs, umbrellas, hammocks etc. We had a blast with this company highly recommend!

Excursion included snorkeling, great lunch buffet, pig interaction (not quite swimming with the pigs as they didn't stay in the water very long, but they would bring them out every 30 minutes), and a standard set of alcoholic beverages. I highly recommend using the pickup/drop off option, as we did not, and would have saved a lot of hassle.

A bit of a long day in the sun. Long walk to bathrooms and bar. Kids (7 and 9) loved it. Open bar. Tunes and things available for rent.

An absolutely fantastic outing for our family of five. While it was pricey, it was definitely worth it. The boat left for Rose Island at around 10 AM and you leave to return back to Paradise Island at 3:15 PM. It is about a 30 minute ride on their well-appointed ferry-type boat over to the island. All the staff were fantastic as was the open bar and lunch. The pigs were such an enjoyable and unique experience for our three children. The animals were friendly and clearly well-treated and there was lots of time to swim with them. There are very nice amenities and the beach is absolutely stunning. There is shade and nice chairs to lounge in. The snorkelling experience was fun as well. Overall, we highly recommend this excursion.

This was by far one of the best trips yet! The pigs were so nice and fun to play with. The workers were great as well and would let you take TONS of photos with the pigs. The water is absolutely gorgeous. The boat ride was great and only ab a 25-30 min ride. Lunch is provided and it was fabulous. It has always been my dream to go to pig island and Sandy toes blew it out of the water! Highly recommend!

Pick up was right next to margaritaville on paradise island. Had a 30 minute boat ride to rose island. First activity was snorkel. You either do it first thing or not at all. After that we went to the other side of the island for the pig swimming. Did that multiple times. They brought out adult, teenager and baby pigs. Lunch was delicious. Served, bread, salad with choice of thousand island, balsamic or ranch. Pasta salad and rice. Meat was chicken or hot dog. The chicken was delicious, Melt in your mouth. They have a bar. We bought the upgraded drink package. This is not need unless you only want frozen drinks. Overall it was great experience. My GF loved it.

Beware!! The pigs BITE!! My toddler was standing next to me watching the piglet swim to the staff. As Iโ€™m pointing to show my toddler the piggies, Then all of a sudden the piglet walked over and bit his hand. I had to yank his hand out of his mouth. Lucky there were no visible injuries. But the entire hand went inside his mouth. None of the staff showed any concern which leads me to believe this happens often. I wish there were signs to warn you they bite! The ferry was overcrowded. The food was lacking. The beach in my resort was cleaner than rose island. There are rocks everywhere which made it hard to swim on the beach. Only pro was there was ample Amt of time to spend with the pigs. But after they bit my son. We avoided them at all cost.

Really good experience that is worth the money. Food and bar were good. Pigs were awesome and well taken care of. I did like the big major cay pigs a little better mainly because there were piglets, but the rose island pigs were great as well.
