The hotel was clean, it had a strong cleaner smell when you walked through the front door. The staff was very kind. They had breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., it included different things each morning but, a few items were bacon, sausage, eggs, cereal, and fruits. The door we booked was a double queen room and the beds were nice. The beds did not sink in and they had four different pillows on each bed to pick from. If we needed more towels, they were fast within 10 minutes to bring more. In the picture, we had lifted the sheets to check to see if everything was clean. The sheets were not like that when we arrived, they were nice and neat. I highly recommend this hotel.

The girl at front desk is nice and friendly. They could clean the room better: we saw some stains on sofa,makes us uncomfortable. The best of this hotel is their breakfast: they have fresh pancakes , scrambled eggs and other good things.

A consistently good stay. Keurig's in the room for good coffee. I was working from the room all day today and the housekeeper was kind, happy and offered extra coffee or tea. I didn't need any, but I sure appreciated her cheerfulness and service.

The only reason this place is getting a star is solely for me to write a review. We went with this hotel because of the reviews, location and being close to the surgical center that I was going to have surgery at. Monday the 9th we checked in a little before 11:30pm. Was given the key card to room 323. The first thing I do is check the beds for any sign of bed bugs. I noticed they had a plastic protective cover over mattress which was good. Then I shook the sheet and I found a bed bug. We immediately left the room and went to the receptionist counter to show them the picture I took and advised them they have bed bugs in this room. The lady had no reaction to this situation. Needless to say, we cancelled our reservation, left and stayed in a hotel about 10 mins away with exceptional service and no pests.

Reasonable priced, but you get what you pay for. The lobby was nice and employees were helpful. The hotel was run down and need to be renowned. Not located in a great part of town. There're train tracks that run right beside the hotel, so you can easily hear the trian whistle in the middle of the night. The breakfast was a tipical HIE breakfast, so it was fine. I don't think I would come back.

Great prices and location! I really liked the service and the front desk manager even returned an item that I forgot in the room. They usually have free cookies and ice water any time of day. I wasn't crazy about the Breakfast and would've preferred more fresh fruit. The eggs were not very tasty and they were not a lot of healthy options. The pool was really nice and so was the Jacuzzi. I just think the carpeting in the hallways could be replaced with some nice flooring because they were very strained. They also smelled of cleaning products. Overall for the price I think it was a good value.

The room was good, exactly what you expect from this vendor. Quite no trains, planes or vagrants. Didn't try the breakfast as the crowd was too large in the morning. They have a pull through parking lot which is rare for California so you can get in there and out of there with a trailer. Would have rated it a little higher except for they need to clean the carpet and the hallways was stairways and the elevator. One of the better experiences in Bakersfield that's for sure.

I forgot my swimsuit in the room at this hotel, and I called to let them know that I will stop by to get it, but they said the made didn't return anything to the lost and found. Also, the room and the hallway smells really bad beer. The TV doesn't work and the maintenance guy couldn't fix it. I won't come back or recommend this hotel at all. Bad customer service at the front desk too. The receptionist was not friendly at all.😭 Give me my beautiful swimming suit back..

New hotel. Strong smells of cleaners. Breakfast seemed great,not much left when we got there. Great service. Great price. Will stay again.

Disappointed with our experience. Check in was cold, impersonal and unwelcoming. Paid for a jetted tub, but the water wasn’t hot enough to enjoy. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.

We had a Double room temperature in the room was nice, they have a exercise room which we didn't utilize,. But that swimming pool was our halftime and our way of relaxing...I give them a 5 star rating.

This place went above and beyond in every aspect!! THIS SHOULD BE TODAY'S STANDARD from the cleanliness to the service to the fresh amazing breakfast that's included with the stay, I literally can't say enough about this holiday Inn location, My fiance and I are Dimond elite members and we have stayed in places from New York to Las Angeles and this was literally the best one and when we return to Bakersfield we will be returning to this location....

4 stars cause....well it's in Bakersfield. Not much in Bakersfield. However, it is a very clean and nice hotel. Their breakfast spread is pretty impressive for what you pay for the room. Family of 4 easily saved $70 by eating their free breakfast. Buffet style (small buffet) but still better than most other hotels that you don't expect much from.

Service: The 2 ladies that checked us in on 6/2/23 were very pleasant (one of them was on training). On Saturday 6/3/2023 we needed courtesy drinking water but the jar was empty in the lobby; I asked Marbella and she told me that the lady from the kitchen was the one responsible to fill the jar with water but the way she said was not that pleasant; She (Marbella) is not friendly at all and that is not acceptable because we were not there to lodge for free. House Keeping Maids: Virginia was very friendly and helpful with our requests, also a Honduran Maid was so how friendly as well (no bad attitude) and their Supervisor Adela was also very attentive and friend with us and took care of the drinking water for us. Breakfast: The lady handling breakfast yesterday 6/4/23 was very friendly despite the fact that it was VERY BUSY, so I give her 5 stars (sorry I didn't get her name) The one from Saturday hard worker too but needs to smile... Manager Kal; Implement a courtesy course to your employees and remind them that they job because of us GUESTS. Teach them a smile and a great attitude go a long way. I hope you have one your self too; Thank you!!!

Reasonable price. Comfortable room especially bed. Awesome shower pressure and spray!! Bed skirts and curtains were the only signs of wear besides a broken corner tile in the bathroom. Still recommend.

Very bad experience. I have booked room for 11/21/2023 but when I arrived there then they refused that no reservation for room. It was very hard to find room in midnight. I need strict action against this night duty person. Even I asked him new room but he denied. I want to give maximum negative reviews.
