So aesthetically, the place is nice and the room is clean! I can safely say that the place is clean where it matters. Going outside the room and into the hallways reaks of the sewage line running through the hotel. The elevator has a funky smell and the parking situation feels sketchy at best. A lot of room for improvement, but the room makes up for the cons.

Beautiful hotel! Excellent customer service from their staff. Complimentary water at the front desk. You get check in goodie bags. Hot breakfast in the morning from 6 to 9 am. There is an indoor pool. Out door jacuzzi. Very clean. This is my second time staying at this location, we'd definitely come back, and believe you'd enjoy this location as well. The couch turns into a bed.

Everything about my stay here was incredible !! Was able to get two full sized beds and a pullout couch for like 138$ for one night !! Bathroom was a little dimly light but the service was amazing !! Even had free breakfast included and the night attendant called Stephen was also incredibly nice !!!

I was disappointed in Marriott's Springhill Suites. Although the staff were kind and the room was clean, the hot water is lukewarm. And moreover, it was barely lukewarm on some mornings. (I am guessing they turn the hot water heater down to save money.) The printer in the business office did not work and they had no butter at breakfast. The staff said they ran out of butter a few days ago. I will not stay at this hotel again and likely not at a Marriott again. Thanks for listening.

This is my second stay in the last couple months, every member of the staff I have spoken with has been really great, the rooms are clean and decent sized and there is an indoor pool and outdoor spa. Everything is clean and well kept. The breakfast is pretty good as well. I'll definitely stay again if the need arises.

Had a wonderful stay at SpringHill Suites in Bakersfield. The staff were friendly and the place was well kept and immaculately clean. Unfortunately they still have multiple “Mask Required “ signs throughout but fortunately it’s not enforced. This is highly unusual in a “red” Bakersfield area and goes against traditional logic. Breakfast was adequate and included.

POOR COSTUMER SERVICES! I have an elite membership of this hotel chain and this is one of worst proprieties I have seen. The front desk staffs were not responsive because they glued their phone all day. Plus too many roaches on this property. Go somewhere else who will serve you better.

Absolutely horrible experience. The south Asian manager during day and night shift was wearing a hoody and training the new hires. It felt like I'm at her home. Didn't even make eye contact with the customers. Pathetic. The lobby's night ls were turned off when I checked in the evening. When asked I was told - the owner wants to save on electricity. There was no lotion or any amenities in the bathroom. Breakfast was decent at the location. The room cost more than $150 a night - I would advise guests to stay else where - but this place.

We stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bakersfield and had a wonderful stay there. The staff there were all so helpful, and kind. Room was very clean, and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. I truly didn't expect the amount of food they served and the helpful staff in the dining room. A special thank you to the desk attendant Israel who went above and beyond to make out stay so comfortable.

Damian deserves a round of applause for handling the crazy rush of people checking in tonight. He held his composure well as he helped each guest to check in, come to find out he’s new and still in training. Way to go bro 🙌🙌 you’re doing a great job!!! Keep up the great work Damian… I will be making this my go to hotel anytime I’m in Bakersfield, I highly recommend the property it’s super clean and conveniently located around a ton of things to do in the area.

Good for the price we paid. The breakfast service was good. I especially like their hot coffee/tea bar. The room is ok, but the bathroom feels old.

Big rooms! Everything was in very nice condition. Free breakfast is good, and I had to leave before it started, the employee who was preparing very kindly got me some things. Much thanks to her!

Serviceable room if the price is right. Stayed one night heading south, October 2023. Toilet was dirty and air conditioning didn't work. Staff rebooted A/C then it was intermittent. Neighbor's plumbing noises loud thru the walls. Carpet well-worn. Cancelled the later northbound reservation in favor of TownPlace Suites (more $). I'm not even sure Springhill Suites is a real Marriott. Sign in the lobby says they are owned by a private equity firm and managed by a different management firm. Marriot is only the marketing.

Great rooms for longer stays. Free breakfast daily. Very nice and accommodating staff! Conveniently located across the street from Costco and located in a pretty good location in Bakersfield if you're looking to check out the city. There's an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub too.

Rooms were dated. The air conditioning did not work well at all during the day and it was very hot. Fitness center was tiny. Breakfast was okay. I prefer the Fairfield inn across the street.

Miranda, the desk gal is an asset to your company! Room was super clean. Jacuzzi was very nice. Breakfast was good. Thanks for a great stay.

Hotel is conveniently located off the 99, making it a great stop for travelers. The hotel was clean, but rooms were dated. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels were fluffy. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast served was hearty with eggs, waffle, breads, yogurts, oatmeal, and more. We would stay here again.

Great experience all the way around. Room was nice, clean and quiet. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Free breakfast was great. Even the water at the front desk was good. I highly recommend staying here.

Although the hotel was nice, the area was absolutely horrible! We spent one night here and our catalytic converter was stolen from our car over night. I would not recommend or stay in this location ever again.

It was clean. Small things make a difference and for the price to stay here and the expectation of a Marriott as a Bonvoy member I was left disappointed. I will not stay in this area enough to try this hotel again. Too many other options. The air system is not right, he upper floors corridors felt bad breathing the air. The drain in the room was super slow, the shower had a high pitch sound. They ought to hire the grounds keeper (outside looks beautiful) to handle the plumbing inside!

Can tell from the reviews that this was once a good option for this area. However, the rooms are starting to show signs of wear and need some upgrades (new mattress would be a good start). The staff is friendly and helpful. The food for breakfast is terrible. It’s all a bunch of plastic packaged and processed food. I am sure it’s some silly regulation in California that requires them to do this, but it’s just horrible. I walked next door to the Courtyard and paid for a real food breakfast. I e never had a room that had its own breaker box. That was weird.

Nice rooms, amenities, staff and the included breakfast is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. I found it easy to get to everything we needed from there.

I have lots of allergies so it was kind of difficult to enjoy the continental breakfast. I had many questions about ingredients on certain items. I felt bad to ask but Jessica helped me out so much! She made me feel comfortable with my questions and in the end she brought me a gf/df muffin with the list of its ingredients! I was so excited and it made me feel good that she went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. Thx Jessica! 😁👍

First, Mandy at the front desk gave us a warm and gracious welcome. Then we noticed how clean the property was. Great first impression! Our room was immaculate and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Choose this hotel for a five star experience!

Hotel room is clean, good bed mattress. Housekeeping is courteous, and so is the front desk personnel. We had a few issues that needed the maintenance man, he was very quick and efficient, we didn’t even have to leave the room. This hotel could use a little TLC with the floors in the lobby and maybe more sitting options outside near the jacuzzi area. Breakfast options were good, especially the egg bites/fritadas, waffle maker only on the weekends though. Coffee and Hot water options are accessible… however the urns are not electric so the coffee and water don’t stay hot. Connecting rooms are a little bit less sound proof than a room with no connecting door. Overall stay was good and we got a good deal.

A+ - we called to reserve an adjoining room and they delivered on their promise and had it ready at check-in (I don't know why this is often so hard, but this hotel was awesome). - pool was fun - room had no smell - clean room and areas - helpful and kind check- in - tea, coffee and fruit enhanced water available throughout the day was a nice addition - typical breakfast offerings. Hostess was very patient and helpful with my dietary questions - couch bed was comfier than typical - couch tables were helpful Great stay. Thanks!
