Been at the place twice to pick up birth certificates. First time I was in and out 20 minutes. Second time was 7 years later and still made it out of there within 25 minutes. Staff up front look organized and they will guide you to the department you have to go for whatever you need.

The car seat program the county offers was surprisingly quick and informative! Initially, like many free programs out there, I thought that it would take a while to get a call back or even set something up but this totally exceeded my expectations! The whole process took about a week and the people who helped me through it was very understanding and flexible. I had to reschedule my first appointment due to child care and the safety technician totally understood and was happy to work around my schedule. The actual appointment to get the car seat was fast (didn't even take an hour) and he went over some safety protocols and little known facts about California law. He was very informative, showed me how to install the car seat, and answered all my questions. He even helped me bring the car seat to my car! All in all, I'm glad the county offers this program to parents and it was well worth it!

They can’t tell you anything. I called today August 2, 2021. To ask for a free covid testing site. The woman that answered could not give me any information on where to go for the free covid testing. She said to try Rite Aid, but they require an appointment and only do it thru the drive thru, scheduled 3 weeks away. She said Urgent Care, they are not free. The health department doesn’t do the testing anymore, only the vaccines. What’s the point of the local Health Dept??? They did not help at all!

I greatly appreciate the people that work in the this building. I love how I feel that I am not just another patient, but an individual. I love that it's a professional, yet personal. They always seem to be considerate of time because I am never in there longer than I feel I should be. I wouldn't choose no other health clinic in town ! Thanks ladies ;)

0 stars, 6 days, 2 appointments later and still getting the wrong information, wrong supervisors and rude people who interrupt you while your talking. Had one nice nurse even tho she did the wrong test on me she made my day better before her coworkers and boss made it worse. So thank you to the one nice person I encountered in there the nurse with the Halloween Mickey Shirt.

Worst experienced.. i have an appointment at 10:00 for my son immunization.. was waiting more than 1 hour! my other child was crying a lot and they don't even care.. and the staff in the window was laughing.. there is no point to have an appointment if they dont follow the time of your appointment.. more than an hour of waiting its too bad!!

i lived in Kern County for a year and a half and at no point would this Health Department let me file an application for my MMIC. i paid SO MUCH in taxes that i shouldn't have. the state said its only Kern and a few counties up north that were doing this so if you can help it move into LA County as they won't let you apply out of the county either. insane that a receptionist gets to control sick people's lives

I was in and out quickly, the staff was great. They were kind and curtious. I did however have a hard time getting them to answer the phone to make an appointment

Been here for 40 minutes and they take so long when there's 2 ppl in here but the person at the window is just texting away and probably watching tik tok I understand it's not an exciting job but ppl have stuff to do get us in and so we can quickly get out. Just here for TB Test.
