One of the largest parks in Bakersfield. It’s popular over the weekend for Soccer. Come by and see for yourself. Great for early morning walks around the field. 🙂

Entire place under construction and maintenance all around. Literally all vegetation removed eliminating the natural habitat and subsequently the home of birds which made the lake pleasant to visit. Hope all this devastation and construction will lead to a harmonious human and nature park when done.

This could be the best park in town if they just hired a few people to take care of this sports complex. They have plenty of soccer fields from what I've seen. The park is bigger and I noticed it had a playground for kids but I didn't go that far. They should get bigger trashcans and someone to empty them out on the weekends so that the trash isn't overflowing.

The fields are great, nice and green. But the restrooms on the other hand are DISCUSTING to say the least. No toilet paper, no soap to wash your hands, dirty and they smell horrible. What's the point of paying a fee to use the fields if the restrooms are going to be unsanitary.

The fields have unseen holes all over. I have seen and been the victim of then several times. The restrooms are rarely open. When they are they are usually nasty and without water. There is always garbage overflowing all of the cans. It is really sad at one time they really invested in the community. Now it looks like they gave up.

One could go and watch a family member play and then leave with valley fever, these fields need to be watered down to keep all the dust from flying everywhere specially since there's thousands of kids playing there every week.

The fields are good but all the bathrooms are closed my daughter couldn't use it.

Could be an awesome place with a little work. Trash rolling across the fields during your kids game is aweful and the trash bins are always full. The field my granddaughter has played on all season is just dust and the girls fall in it all of the time.

I attended a home football game for the Kern Resource Center. The football field is nice. It’s not a full size field. The bleachers aren’t that close to the field.

Terrible place to play soccer. Kicked out everyone from the fields just to have 2 AYSO games. Do not come here. Private property, holes everywhere and fields are not taken care of.

Lots of soccer fields, and a playground with bbq's nearby. The little pond is nice. There's extensive parking and sidewalks.
