We had to go to the hardware store and this restaurant was so close to the hardware store we might as well just stop by and eat. Happy to find a Mediterranean restaurant here in the neighborhood. Upon entering this quaint location, noticed that the owner was friendly and talkable as he was fulfilling curbside pickup orders. There was only one other table full in the entire restaurant. We were eager to get our food and happy to wait the 10 minutes that it took from the time we ordered. You know when you're in the theater and you're hungry and you smell all of the popcorn all around you and you really want the popcorn but it's not yours you can't eat it. This is kind of what it felt like driving home. Couldn't eat the food because we were driving, but it smelled so good it was making our mouths water the whole way home. After finally settling into the house (20 minutes after receiving the food) we were disappointed when we opened the containers at the portion sizes. On the California fries, the chicken was incredibly dry and almost flavorless. The rice was ok, and the lamb / beef meat was dry as well. We're hoping this was due to the time it took for us to get home and the rest of the food is typically not like this. The saving grace of our meal was the garlic sauce, that was incredible!

The food here is outstanding! If you never have had Indian food before, try one of their Kabobs, pick your flavor, Steak, chicken or lamb. They come with salad, rice, hummus and pita bread. The Kabobs are grilled with tomato’s and onions, delicious, everything is delicious! I picked the lamb kabob, the lamb was tender and flavorful, best lamb I’ve had in awhile. I dip my meat in the hummus. One plate is big enough to share with someone. The owners are present and are very nice.

Really good food and very reasonable prices, I highly recommend calling in your order prior to walking in as the wait can be much if it's to go ! Only picky thing was the hummus was too creamy for me, but still fine. Very good food recommend trying it out top eats in Bakersfield

LOVE. Flavors came through immediately. Really well seasoned and saiced. The dolmas were warm, delightful, and melty. The salad had a strong mix of ingredients. Somehow at a cheap price, lots of care and authenticity came through.

I have never in my life had this good. I wish they would come to NC! This is my first review ever because that is how good the food it. Trust me and give them a try if you are in bakersfield ca.

AMAZING!! Food was fresh, customer service was great. Took a bit of time to get our food, but definitely worth the wait! Order ahead for faster service. We had the #5, #6, & California Fries.

Very poor customer service & establishment was filthy. The waitress who took our order was very rude and even though we specified that we were dining in , they rushed the food out in a takeout bag. The chairs which we waited on were sticky and the tables all looked like they hadn’t even been wiped off. The floors were covered in miscellaneous food & weren’t picked up until I started to take photos. The food was good but the customer service was so terrible, it doesn’t make up for the experience.

The salad was very scrumptious. With the falafel’s on the side. I asked for a rice entrée and received french fries. I have to keep it real and honest, the bread for the hummus dip was hard as rock and the restrooms were very filthy. Overall great customer service very friendly stuff.

Falafel plate and chicken plate were delicious. They are filling but not heavy. The stuffed grape leaves are also great, we got 2 orders and ate one fresh and hot, and the other the next morning cold, still good!

Absolutely delicious food and great service. We all got platters and had such an abundance of food. Every component complimented the whole. We’re all still thinking about this wonderful eating experience and if we ever pass through Bakersfield again, there is no question where we will be eating.

The food is prepared fresh to our order. You can dine in or take-out. The restaurant is busy with walk-in and online online orders as well. They offer a great selection of combo plates, soups & sandwiches, Beef, Chicken & Lamb Kabobs, salads and sides. Plus Hummus The Lamb Kabob was very tender and juicy. They forgot our Baklava order and I'm glad I went back. It tasted great! The parking is a little crowded but the parking lot is large. Definitely will go back and recommend to others.

Walked in to cool middle eastern music...and got excellent service. Absolutely fantastic food and the kibbeh may be my new favorite dish. Savory meat in a Mediterranean hush puppy.

Absolutely amazing experience. Went in with my husband to have lunch on a sat afternoon. The food was spectacular and the flavors were unbelievable. We were even fortunate enough to share a coffee that we had our fortune told with as well. Beautiful atmosphere and great customer service. 👌

On Saturday, I brought my whole family to celebrate Eid and the cashier wouldn't take my order unless it was carryout. I asked why, he said the woman in the kitchen told him to say that. They still had an hour before closing. I'm not sure why she would do that to me, but thanks for ruining my family's Eid.

Best middle eastern food I've ever had! At this point, I have tried just about everything on the menu. It has ALL been absolutely delicious! Of particular note, they have the best baba ganoush around...so creamy and smoky!

Fast great food, good amount for cost. Chicken sharwarma plate was fresh and delicious. Excellent humus w huge pita bread. Will go again!!

It's a smaller quaint place as the word Express says in the title but the food is good and the staff was very nice and helpful. I had the Falafel plate and they were good, maybe a tat over cooked but the salad and fries were perfect. The hummus and yogurt sauce were awesome and the decor for it being express was nice. We got our food really fast but it was still very fresh and that was nice as we were on the road! We will be back! :)

Amazing balance of spices and flavor the lentil soup was delicious as was everything we enjoyed. Simple set up, inside great place to have a family meal anytime of day. Please support this local gem it's a winner.
