This park is really nice and a great place to hold birthday parties or baby showers. Any event really. It has beautiful scenery to take photographs. My kids love coming here. The bathrooms are still gross, I mean it's a public bathroom so standards are already low as it is.

This is a really nice park with a lot to do. The water makes it very amiable. There are ducks there that the people who frequent the park like to feed. They seem to be on a personal basis with these ducks. People bring horses to this park also. There are a lot of people who bring their dogs and people meet up and walk dogs together here.

I love this place the lakes, shopping, resturants, bike paths, miles of open desert, lots of wild life, birds,..Kern River Valley has something for everyone.

My dog club had a great fit walk with our dogs today. Great place, friendly people.

Clean park with lots of space to roam around. Our family loves to come here and walk, have a picnic, let this kids play on the playground. We haven't tried fishing there yet, but always see people fishing. Good place to relax and soak up the sun.

I love this park is almost always clean much better then other parks I've been.

Wonderful location for biking, walking the dog, or just to watch the flora and fauna.

Good place to relax, make sure you spray your self with bug replant during dusk hours.

We love coming here in the night. Is so peaceful and safe.

I’m so happy the water has returned after a long hot summer! Being there made me feel sad when there was no water. Great place for kids. I love the bike trails, you can get a great workout

Was part of a 5-K held here ! Such great fun and amazing experience... it followed the bike path along the river... saw wild life and had a great experience.

Very sad & discouraging to see all the starving ducks in the puddle of water that has been purposely stop flowing. They are going to die out there just like all the turtles did. Why can't F&G take them to our other lakes like Buena Vista, lake ming. 😥😥😥

Nice to have an oasis. Great memories. Also, trail along the river is very easy, paved and great for bikers as well. Miles and miles. One time saw a 🐍 in middle of the trail basking in the sun waited and snake moved away. Thank you 🐍!

What can I say I just love this place. It's a place to get away unwind or meditate while getting a good walk or hike in. It's a place where you can fill one with yourself and not only that see some amazing animals and creatures. Recommend this place a whole lot I especially recommend the night walks. Lot of amazing things. Not only that it's not far right on the outskirts of Bakersfield. I must see place like I said just go to get away and unwind.
