The first impression is good, the place was recommended by locals. Lots of menu items and it is difficult to choose as there is no picture and you read japanese names and ingredients. One of few places in Baku with smoking and non-smoking areas. We have ordered samurai sushi set of 32 pieces. The prices are acceptable. Waited for 30 minutes for the set. The food was very fresh and tasty. I liked it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. Liked it overall.

I love hot cooked rolls but unfortunately here ordered 4 different ones and I didn't like any. Had to wait 40 min as well. Not worth it.

Menu is not bad. Nice place. BUT customer service is poor, meeting and greeting was rude( the lady meeting at the entrance was without any smile and will to help to seat us )and the man in clockroom (demanding to take off jackets not in a polite way). Our special day was spoilt thanks to them...Never ever back there...

Honestly, the place has a great interior and very polite staff. However, the sushi was just okay, and that's the main reason why I'm giving them 3 stars. For this price range, you can find much better sushi elsewhere (try Nobody Knows or Yoshi Sushi). We also ate fried chicken rice (which we liked) and a duck salad dish (which we didn't like as much). One last thing I should mention is that their menu in English has incorrect pricing, so double check with the waiter about the right price so you're not surprised when you see the bill.

Best Japanese restaurant in town. The food is delicious. Love the atmosphere. Location of this place is also good. Try miso soup; it is recommended.

Very nice place. Quality of food is amazing. You have to wait too long until they serve the dish (30-40 minutes), but it's worth it ☺

Customer service was very bad. The lady who was greeting customers made us to change our reserved place and offered it to other client. When we disagree with her offer she said that it was her mistake to lead us on first table. İn a wprd She “made our day” Will never suggest it to anyone else and will never go back there for sure!

The ambience is nice, ac works just fine so in hot day you’ll feel fine chilling over sushi here. The taste is good, I believe all ingredients are fresh, fair amount of fish in rolls (not more than rice like in other places), we (2 ppl) ate 5 different rolls and were feeling light after such meal. I’d come there again. I recommend to try tempura roll, it’s so delicious! 😋

I had salmon and tuna sashimi (no pictures, I ate it too fast!); carrot and ginger soup (pictures); and ramen noodles. Visit if you get a chance, it was recommended to me by a local and didn’t disappoint :)

Lovely place , love the atmosphere but.. there was noisy adult guys who talk so loud about business and no warning from the stuff. Phobo was good enough, not the best one I’ve ever had in my life , it was fine for Baku. Small tip for you - if you’ll planning ordering phobo w other dishes , ask them to get Phobo at the end , you’ll not get the taste of anything after . It’s spicy and hot .

The food is so tasty here, I cannot even describe it. We ordered Tom yum soup, sushi Caspian and gyoza shrimp and all of the dishes were super yummy. Thank you guys. I strongly recommend this place 😃

This was my first time coming to Chio-Chio-San for lunch. I paid 12AZN plus 1AZN service fee. Glad to say that I enjoyed it. I took the tori bento lunch menu. It included 4 kappa maki rolls, small bowl of soup, vegetable salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers), chicken noodles, vegetable tempura, cheesecake, and a drink of my choice. The portions weren't big, but I was full after being done with the meal. I would recommend their lunch menu for those who want to eat asian food for a small price! The atmosphere in the restaurant was also relaxing. The waiters were helpful.

For any one who's keen on enjoying good sushi. Please go to Budha bar. This is an average place and basic level of japanese food. We tried both and budha bar for almost the same price comes alot on top.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Very tidy, cleanand quite place for business lucnhes. They have a business lucn menu starting 10AZN, prices are a bit higher but you will definitely get the value. Personnel are very friendly, food comes on time. I love this place

Near perfect if we drawing conclusions just on food. Everything is freshest and delicious, Japanese part of menu is basic but seriously tasty, fusion one is more complex but still great. There are some problems with speed of service but it's really nothing, thanks to quality of dishes.

Japanese food ,good experience but expensive

Restaurant has no menu. A tablet with the "menu" app had only the rolls and that's it. Once they managed to find a single printed menu with all items listed the waiter told us that the prices are now higher and told us to ask the price of everything before making the order. Some of the foods we wanted to order were not available for some reason. Eventually we just left as the service was terrible. For a place that requires a reservation this is unacceptable.
