don't
usually
give
one
star
but
something
here
crossed
the
line
of
indecency.
Two
of
us
arrive
at
the
Minaal
Hostel,
the
afternoon
before
the
Europa
League
final
between
Chelsea
and
Arsenal.
Upon
our
arrival
the
sight
is
unseemly:
located
on
the
third
floor,
we
go
up
a
dark
staircase
(to
shed
light
I
have
to
use
the
phone
torch),
all
in
concrete...
(I
think
the
entrance
to
Osama
Bin
Laden's
bunker
was
better
decorated)
.
I
open
the
door
and
at
the
entrance
I
find
myself
in
front
of
an
expanse
of
shoes,
the
acrid
smell
pierces
my
lungs.
I
try
as
best
I
can
to
hold
my
nose
while
I
ask
where
the
reception
is.
A
guy
tells
me
I
have
to
wait
for
the
"manager",
but
he
can't
even
give
me
a
time
frame.
I
last
about
40
seconds,
the
air
is
unbreathable...
I
say
goodbye
and
leave.
To
never
again.
The
worst
hostel
of
my
life.
