Down a street in Baku we found a little taste of Kyiv, so happy to have found it - chopped liver, chicken and mushroom pancakes with a homemade taste that brings back memories. All washed down with a few shots for good measure! A delightful place for a meal.

Very cozy place with such nice atmosphere and familiar food to my taste 😋 tried borshch, vareniki with veshenki (mushrooms) and potato (actually didn’t like them much coz the potato taste was stronger than mushrooms), pelmeni with cream sauce, syrniki (for take away). Actually not bad but I felt smth was missing in pelmeni and vareniki taste. Overall 8/10. I’d say. The bill was 45 azn. The main con for me was the music 👎🏼 I understand traditional music and style of the place but this particular music I found very annoying for cozy dining in 😕

Tasty Ukrainian cuisine, friendly and surprisingly fast service. There might be places with lower prices in Baku but prices are entirely fair for the good quality you get. Ukrainian interior with all the authentic details is lovely. Definitely a recommendation. Only a small recommendation - they should either put a bit more into the glass when someone's ordering a set of their homemade liqueurs or use smaller glasses. Because in the first moment we thought that somebody else already took a sip. In any way it was an enjoyable evening.

Service and food were exceptional. The "Soviet" salad was delicious if you like herring. Had the potato and mushroom dumplings and they were quite tasty. Tried the flight of tinctures which they make in house. You can see jars of it around the restaurant aging with various herbs/fruits/roots. My favorite was one infused with chilies. Had a nice bite. Overall great experience and will be a regular stop during my time in Baku.

The staff is incredible, and so is the food! Borsch, dumplings, chicken Kyiv Caesar. I could go on… it’s all great. Please give them a try if you’re in Baku :)

We ate here twice during our trip to Baku. Fantastic food - beef dumplings, goulash, chicken Kiev - all lovely. The cherry dumplings with cream for dessert were amazing. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended. 👍

A small and cozy restaurant! Which serves traditional Russian/Ukrainian dishes. The waiter was super nice, explained everything very well and was patient. The traditional dishes were amazing. Very tasty and big portions. However, the signature burger with the potato instead of bread wasn’t tasty to my opinion, but it was well made. Dinner was pretty pricey (47manat pp) without any alcoholic beverages. And the restaurant was empty when we arrived (21:40) which didn’t contribute to the environment. Recommended if you want good Russian traditional food.

A highlight from my recent trip to Baku to visit my spawn who lives there was the dinner we had at this place. There were five of us and we went crazy on the menu, and with two of us being locals, everything was fabulous, even the booze. Well worth a stop if you're in Baku. Oh the Vorshmact is to die for. Nice place to go. Delicious food. What was surprising that they didn't allow us to pay for food which we didn't like.(probably they didn't like it as well.) Very polite personnel. Even then something goes wrong they find ways to solve the issue.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The food was really good and the service was excellent. When the waitress was unsure of how to say something in English she asked somebody else to explain it to us. I will definitely return
