the best grilled milkfish in balikpapan, I like the atmosphere and the place is fun, we can see the fish pond and the process of cooking the foods.

One of the best yet legendary seafood restaurant. It serves soft crab too. We can take fresh vegetables (lalapan), sambal, and tamarind vegetable soup (sayur asem) as much. Saus torani (torani sauce) is one I like the most here.

Amazingly fresh seafood, grilled and fried. Simply an amazing atmosphere, with open al fresco dining experiences. Little side gardens, water features and fresh fish ponds where you can make your own selection. Their sides dishes and sambal are also very nice. Didn’t try deserts but I’m looking forward to go again!

pretty clean restaurant with lots of seafood options but depending on the days most fresh water fish was gone! it takes time for them to come after seated. the food is delicious and their hot sauce can't get enough of. price is moderate. the fish is by the one, 1/10 kg. so you pick your own fish and what you want the fish to be done is your pick. one of my favorite to go with friends. you also pick your own rice and soup which I never knew before. just the service, I hope it gets better and more friendly to customers

Decent seafood with variety menus available from fishes, squids, prawns to lobsters to pick within different prices but still considered not too expensive.

Open space restaurant and spacios place.. parking lot are big and its a great place for Arisan, Group lunch/dinner. White rice are free flow, u can take it as much as you can together with the Sayur Asam.

Most of their seafood are alive before cooking, so they are still fresh. The price is quite expensive as they offered the best quality for the seafood they have. You will see many aquariums filled with living fishes and many other sea creatures when you enter this place, and they will cut them for you if you order them. Also they offered 2 kind of chillies, both of the them are delicious and spicy. Most of the companies will dine here to entertain their clients. The offered fishes are mostly 95% sea creatures with wide ranging sea fishes variety. Squids and crabs are also can be found here. If you are a shimp lover, you can find them here too. The drinks are also varies in the menu. If you need rice, they will provide them as many as you like.

nothing so special about it, we ordered for 8 people and they already served it before we even arrived so all food were cold we came, mind you that we were ON TIME! nothing so special, the taste is just so so. I STILL CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY SERVE IT SO EARLY, i mean when we arrived the food is all there ON the table! for what? are you in rush?

One of the best seafood in Balikpapan! I did not have seafood allergy but my brother who has it feels the food is clean that he did not have any allergic at all (he usually has allergy eating seafood). Order lots of food for family function: black pepper crabs, bandeng Torani with special sauce, shrimps.. and all are tasty yet portion is good to share. They provide free flow various sambals to pick up from anytime you want, and sayur asem. Bandeng Torani is a must to order when you were here: they didnt smell dirt, clean, boneless and tasty too. My brother order to bring to Jakarta and they last for 3 days at fridge.

I'm enjoyed to have experience at Rumah Makan Torani. While the overall impression was positive, providing constructive feedback on improving the service timeframe for certain dishes could enhance the overall dining experience for customers.

This place is quite big that most likely no waiting list needed if you get here. The food is fresh, they have this kind of space where we can choose the fish, crab, oyster, prawns, squids etc by ourselves. Given the price, service, and the taste itself, it’s really worth it.

All the taste are yummy and tasty, but the crapt is small compare to kenari and dandito

Always super crowded at lunch time. This is my second visit for lunch and the table is almost full. In spite of this, the food is served quicker. Half an hour. On my first lunch, I ordered grilled fish and i had to wait for an hour to get it. Others came after me and ordered the same food were given first. We complained until 4 times before we got the food.
