Nice hotel with good view. Need to check especially for the shower on the bath room. Some shower hole are stuck with sedimentation of water. It makes the water were not flow smooth and some point were blocked. Clean and service were nice

Horrible room with paint peeling off every wall, cheapest and uncomfortable furniture possible. Bed sheets were stained and toilet was dirty. I booked for two nights and left after twenty minutes. No apology from the reception staff. Moved to Swiss Bel which was much nicer. This is the worst hotel in Balikpapan and should be a one star

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Lousy service at the front desk, snobby employees, and super lousy rooms. Room wasn't ready when we arrived, booked for non smoking room, yet carpet has holes from cigarette butt. Spacious, sure, but not worth the price. Switched room, and it was leaking from the roof. Wall was ugly, looking super old and peeling. 2nd room was smaller but with so much disappointment from day 1, then 2nd room was even worse, too many back and fort complaints and nothing, we just couldn't bother anymore and just be done with them. The only good thing about Aston, was the food. Great and tasty Indonesian food, awesome chef and cook 😋 👌 😋 👌

This hotel is old hotel i guess, room was so spacious and not so clean. There are some stains in the blanket and bed. Toilet was clean. The most annoying thing is the staff in restaurant, especially in egg section, she is not polite and seems not happy with her job, please be nice to your guess.

After staying in about 10 different hotels during my three weeks trip to Indonesia I can confidently say that The Golden Tulip by far outclassed the others, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel generally is really nice, but the resto is too small. The parking lot also too small. There is only one shower and changing room at swimming pool.

Nice hotel, staff is also friendly, but waiting time for lift is quite long. It has outdoor place to hangout and chill with soju for sure. The swimming poll is crowded especially on weekend.

Rooms are clean. Having outdoor pub is nice but the sound can creeps into rooms..

me and a friend are the first waiting list on the restaurant and already waiting for almost 30mins, but they let somebody else to come first and havin a nice breakfast because “they’re standing too long already”. however, they told us to wait at the lobby and they’ll tell if our seat is ready. well, it’s their choice to waiting and standing like that tho. i was waiting at the lobby and starving more longer than them. not professional at ALL.

Easy request food for sahur event not in Ramadhan ,room look like apartment ,you can simple cook noodles ,and you will see ocean on you balcony (junior suite for 3 people's ),good on services

21Aug22 check in waiting 2hrs outside for waiting room readiness. get Room 606, Room are clean. Sofa, TV, mini kitchen set. Single bed. Toilet and shower clean. First come, all good.

Nice clean room with beautiful view.. free breakfast with a lot of options. swimming pool with beautiful view to the sea. Big room.

Not quite good place to long stay, if you plan for long stay, i prefer choose other. The reason were quality of bedroom and bathroom. Then you need extra patient when waiting a lift, just 2 lifts and take so long time. Even though there was lack, the breakfast was good and delicious, the scenery was beautiful sea. Just share my experience 👍Hope the hotel can improve more.

My family went here for a vacation and it was a good experience. The hotel is located at the seaside and the view is beautiful, especially if your room is on the higher floors. There's a pool near the lobby which faces the sea as well. A good spot for taking photos. The room we stayed in was nice and cozy. It was quite big and there were 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a pantry, and a balcony in our room. It could fit about 3-6 people (or maybe more if you try lol). Overall it was pretty good.

No hair dryer, no bathrobes, all furniture in the hotel is dirty. Sadly booked 3 nights with no refund and will never come back!

Having my stay with friends on our staycation it was nice cause the unit we rent has pantry and even wide area for us. There are two rooms provided and also two bathrooms. We can even see how beautiful sunrise is, sadly the balcony we cant open it due to some reateictions.

Check ins can be a little quicker. Some rooms need to be updated, shower pressure needs to be fixed. TVs are old with permanent screen damage. Rooms are spacious, clean, ACs are cold, staff are friendly. On weekends the elevator system is a complete nightmare. 20 some floors only 2 elevators for 4 people each. No sequencing.
