The rooms were very comfortable. The one we got was good for 4. Breakfast included. The in-house restaurant is currently closed due to pandemic restrictions. The amenities were actually very nice. There's an artificial falls, swimming pool, canopies, ATVs for rent, kayaking along the river, our cottage has its own bubble pool. My only nitpick was the mosquitoes when you're outside. Our car got covered in leaves however the staff were gracious enough to do a whole car wash to remove all the leaves. The owner was also there, he actually helped in the car washing which was so gracious of him considering everything. What a guy 😊 Wish the restaurants were open, we had to order out our lunch, which was delivered to our cottage. Overall, it was a fun experience. Highly recommended. Do bring OffLotion for the mosquitoes.

Beautiful grounds and kind attentive service staff. Joyce was great! The only complaint was the boat wasn’t working and the water was low so we couldn’t do some of the adventures we wanted to.

pleasant overnight stay with friends. glad they allow cooking without corkage fee. we had samgyupsal for dinner and lunch the next day 😃 we tried kayaking for a bit and then the pool. we stayed at a tree house with a mini pool inside. it fits one person only and the water is cold. 🤣

Could not recommend this. Looks beautiful from the pictures, but the place/facilities are not well maintained. The 3 tents our group stayed in were borderline dilapidated, with mold, stains, and rough-operating zippers. Too expensive for the overnight stay price. Overall, the staff was unaccommodating and had an unpleasant attitude, from the reception to the attendants and even the ATV tour guide. Not fit for a customer service role. The ATVs were also poorly maintained. One of the units we rented felt defective and posed a safety hazard. Unfortunately, the tour guide did nothing to assist us and just watched us from the front of the convoy, as one of the units consistently veered in random directions throughout the ride, due to apparent issues in its steering mechanism. All in all, was definitely one of the worst experiences in all our travels customer service-wise, especially when comparing it to other resorts. The only saving graces are the main pool, which was spacious and beautifully landscaped. It cleverly mimics a beachfront setup with shallow waters near the baseline that progressively go deeper, along with an infinity style design extending towards the scenic riverfront view. The poolside loungers are adequately numbered, and we were always able to secure a spot for our belongings. Lastly, the food (El Rio Adventura Cafe) is decent and reasonably priced, serves quickly (10-15 minutes) and had bigger servings than I expected across the board. but we weren't here for that.

The place itself is really beautiful giving it a - 5 since I'm a nature lover. But what went wrong was how they manage of having a lot fees just by going to different caves. (Entrance fee. Tour guide fee. Parking fee. Going to the other caves fee) Was surprise that going to the other caves have fees too. Plus the tour guide was in a hurry. Thought she was in a hurry because we will have a lot of area to visit but no 😟. Other tour guides are not approachable too. Still had fun though coz of the place.

It is where Emilio Aguinaldo established his headquarters during the war. It is well preserved historical place. We had a short trek with my family & fur friend and it was fun. Along the path you will pass through rivers, caves & waterfalls.

Check-in last Feb 25 to 27. Hoping to relax a bit out of the toxic routine. But the first night was frustrating. Trying to rest and sleep but the drunkards on the upper cottage was so noisy, at first I thought they were fighting after getting drunk, we can't even sleep a wink it's past midnight, sana may rules naman sila na, they can get drunk all they want but be sensitive and considerate to others naman who want to sleep. Second night, the waves of the river are very wild and the raft of the camping tent is very unstable it feels like a stormy night at talagang magalaw akala mo nasa elevator ka plus the new occupant of the next camping tent was the same! No consideration and insensitive to others! Ang lalakas ng boses kung magkwentuhan past midnight na din! Our experienced was not worth the high price we paid.

A great place to relax, reflect, enjoy nature, be adventurous and test your guts. Stayed at Glass Cottage 3 (3d2n) Pros: 1. Almost all food served was good and huge servings. Prices are affordable. 2. Cottages are built apart and you'll have your own yard, beds are cozy, beddings clean, ac working well including fans, water pressure is good, ref works fine, area outside the cottage is also clean. 3. Personal butlers are assigned to each cottage, ready to assist with anything. From ordering/delivering food to getting worms for fishing baits.😊 4. Water activities, ATVs, water facilities are safe and enjoyable. 5. Pools are clean. 6. Extra beddings are free. Extra bed may be requested. 7. Cottage price for 4 is fair. 8. Tv has local channels only so you'd be forced to stay outside and enjoy the facilities. Both Globe and Smart has good signal. 9. No corkage Cons: 1. Resto staff seems to disappear at times. I know kitchens can be busy, but there should always be someone available to assist diners. 2. I'm no insect expert, but there could be something better done to alleviate the mosquitoes from afternoon to night. 3. No other activities after 5pm. Resto is only open until 9pm. 4. Glass Cottages are not very private at night because of the blinds used. Although there are signs, people on day trips would still wander into your yard. 5. Glass Cottage top bunk (bed on top of cemented cr roof) albeit comfy, is not toddler/senior/differently abled friendly. 6. Overnight stay won't be enough to fully enjoy the place.

Giving it 5 stars (if I can give 10, i will!).. enjoyed every part of it in spite of some areas were closed due to damage caused by the recent typhoon (and that's very much understandable).. a peaceful walk in the green.. some lovely moments at the park.. fun in the kayak and ATV or those high jumps & swings are some of those you can try!.. the architectural design of the glass villas are awesome.. or you can check on the tents in the camp area which may be fun for the young!.. all in all.. two thumbs up!

A great way to enjoy your short vacation. Short trip from the metro. Easy to navigate via Google Maps. The place looks cozy . The ambiance is great. The place is really quiet. Amenities were great. There's also a place for team building activities. Friendly staff. Many cottage type selection. Good for day day tour better for overnight stay. Highly recommended.

Awesome place! We’re city people so finding SRRA was really great for us! I love how the cottages are spaced far apart and you have your own space and how the glass cottage has its own ref, hot and cold shower and awesome amenities! My kids had fun here and won’t mind coming back!

A great place to spend time rest days with your loved ones. Family friendly and safe for kids. Cottages looks like airbnb's with personal bubble pool and open garden spaces. They also offer free ATV included when you book for a cottage/cabin.

Beautiful resort but bad service.. indoor hot tub just had cold water after being told twice it would be fixed. Shower had no hot water and after repair it worked for only 5 minutes. Staff made me feel like they did not want to take care of the customers.

The place is not well maintained. The glass cottage where we stayed for a day tour yesterday was dirty. Scattered all over the yard surrounding our cottage were dried leaves, plastic bottle caps, and cigarette butts. The glass doors are filled with children’s fingerprints and the table outside where we were supposed to eat are full of bird droppings. It was really disgusting! It meant that they did not clean the area before we checked in. We did not even bother to use the swimming pool because it is not clean and not properly maintained. It was pricey (7k less 10% for off peak discount) for a day tour, yet the cottage that I booked was such a big disappointment! I would no longer comment about the staff since I already read some about them. Mine would be a negative feedback too. I’m so sorry but I absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place.

Our visit to San Rafael River Adventure proved to be a delightful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The experience was everything I hoped for and more. Firstly, the room provided for our stay was spacious and cozy. It had ample space to move around, and the comfortable furnishings made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in the room's design and amenities ensured a pleasant stay. The ambience at San Rafael River Adventure is truly serene. Surrounded by lush greenery and the calming sounds of nature, it was the perfect setting to unwind and relax. Whether you prefer a tranquil walk along the river or sitting by the bonfire under the starry night sky, this place offers a sense of peace that is hard to find elsewhere. The pool area was another highlight of our stay. The pool was exceptionally clean, and the water was refreshing. It provided a great opportunity to cool off and enjoy some leisurely swimming. The poolside loungers and umbrellas added to the overall comfort and made it an enjoyable experience for everyone. While the overall dining experience was satisfactory, I found the free food provided to be unremarkable. It lacked the wow factor that one might expect from a destination like this. However, this minor setback did not dampen our spirits, as there were plenty of other dining options available nearby to explore. All in all, San Rafael River Adventure is a wonderful place to disconnect from work and bond with friends and family. The serene atmosphere, combined with the spacious and cozy rooms, provides an ideal environment for relaxation. Although the complimentary food could be improved, there are several nearby dining options to explore. I highly recommend this retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway in the heart of nature.

This place is far from the city bit a little bit cozy. We've decided to check the place and walk around. One of the reason we pay them a visit because of their river camping but when we were there, we saw many activities like, swimming, ATB rides, Fishing, wake boarding, banana bike, kayak, paddle board and river swing. As I can see, overnight stay here in San Rafael river adventure is worth it. Aaide from activities they have good rooms and restaurant with good food. Parking lot is huge and can also bring your pets. We will visit again with our family or friends. Place have more inatagramable areas.

Pros: The entire place is gorgeous. Every walkway was very inviting. I love the way they designed the place and the lights at night are stunning! We stayed in the stilt glass cabin, and the beds were comfortable. The area we stayed in was nice and quiet. The pools are beautiful! There's lots of activities to do. Cons: I wish they had hot water. The Jacuzzi and shower are cold.

    - Reception area is not 24/7. Went here in the morning around 7:00 AM but no one was in the reception area - Noisy: no curfew during the night. Neighbors were singing until 3 AM! They didn't mind if someone was sleeping, they sang their hearts out and laughed so hard with their loud voices. - Late serving of breakfast. Upon check-in, there is an option on the time as to when you prefer your breakfast to be served. I chose the earliest which is 7:30. The assigned butler is not answering calls and SMS so I had to call the Receptionist to follow up on our breakfast. On my 2nd call, they told me the server was on the way to deliver the food. The food arrived 3 minutes before 8:00.

We arrived early but they accommodated us right away. The rooms are really nice and properly cleaned when we arrive. My wife dropped our room key IN THE LAKE but their staff went out of their way to dive and retrieve the key from the bottom of the lake. We are really grateful to Kuya who assisted us with our water activities.

We booked a family vacation at this lovely place and reserved a Glass Bamboo hut with a bubble pool. We arrived around 7 pm, and the staff accommodated us excellently as we settled in. After a quick bite to eat, we headed to the infinity pool, which was incredibly cozy and perfect for a night swim, even with the curfew around 11 or 12. To activate the bubble pool, simply get in touch with the staff as it operates for a limited one-hour duration. We brought our own induction cooker for some extra home-cooked meals. The package we availed of included a free breakfast, which was a nice bonus. We also tried the kayak, which was a lot of fun, even though it gave us a few thrills as we navigated the river. The swimming falls were a fantastic addition to the experience. I recommend visiting on weekdays to avoid the crowds. The place has a strong team-building atmosphere, with various activity setups in the fields. They offer general restrooms, a café, a restaurant, a souvenir store, and more. We're definitely planning to return soon!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at San Rafael River Adventure, and our experience was nothing short of fantastic! The entire place is a masterpiece of design, with picturesque walkways that come alive with stunning lights at night. We opted for the stilt glass cabin and were delighted to find the beds incredibly comfortable. The immersive blend of nature, adventure, and relaxation is truly captivating. Zip-lining through lush landscapes added a thrilling touch to our getaway. The staff's excellence was evident from the moment we arrived. Our check-in to the Glass Bamboo hut with a bubble pool was seamless, and the accommodating staff ensured we settled in comfortably. The glamping experience was unique, though we did encounter a minor cleanliness issue with the tent. However, the provided electric fan, mosquito light, and the scenic view by the river made up for it. While we had a delightful stay, we did hear about some mixed reviews on the food. Fortunately, our experience was positive, with great meals that complemented the wide range of activities the place has to offer. San Rafael River Adventure is a perfect destination for families, friends, or couples seeking a nature-filled retreat. The beautiful grounds and attentive staff, especially Joyce, made our stay memorable. The only downside was that due to low water levels, some water activities were unavailable during our visit. In summary, if you're looking for a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle, San Rafael River Adventure is a must-visit. The captivating surroundings, diverse activities, and accommodating staff create a delightful atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return! -Jaye Travels (dot) com

Room was excellent, very spacious and very relaxing, ameneties are good as well, However their service is poor. We advised them to serve breakfast at 7 Am, but they served it around 8 am, breakfast is served on a black plastic container, food was cold.corned beef was so cold that you can see the fat solidifying. River is so dirty that i would not even think twice to go in there.

A very good place to treat your family out for summer. They have infinity pool and waterfalls pool. They have glass rooms where the tints are mirror-type. Best: Courteous staff. Very understanding and kind. We saw a lot of fruit bearing trees and they allowed us to get some. For improvement: Cleanliness of cottages. A lot of huge flies kept pestering our food. Hope they could address it. Would have given 'em a 5⭐ if not for this. Recommendation: Ok to visit.

Pros: 1) Place is very green, serene and very beautiful. 2) The concept of the resort including the activities and accommodations is amazing Cons: 1) The swimming pools are very slippery. Me mga lumot yung sahig. My sister had an accident because of this and their people are not trained enough for first aid. 2) Glass cabins facilities are perfect, but the glamping restrooms have no water! Me sapot pa ng gagamba 3) They are burning the garbages and the grass early in the morning in front of the guests. They should be fined for doing this. 4) We ate at the restaurant and we were getting spoons and fork ourselves because the employees are busy chatting or on their phones outside. 5) The employees dont even say hi or hello. TLDR: Very very close to nature and super Ig-worthy. Comfy enough accomodations. Food is so-so and nothing memorable. They made all of the accomodations as something that nature lovers would go crazy for and they used the surrounding scenery as a really good backdop. The glass cabins looked amazing and their alternative glamping accomodations, albeit they look a but uncomfortable, for sure would provide a nice experience as well. Personally, id rather get the cabins as accomodations, but if youre lookign for cheaper options, the glamping tents on land look a lot better and a lot more comfortable than the glamping with a twist option. They have 3 pools, 2 of which - the infinity pool and swimming falls - look amazing in pictures. The floating pool is kind of unique since it's in the middle of the lake. They have lots of activities that you can do, most notable of all would be the River Swing. The place is also huge and you can wander around lots of places to take pictures and hang out. Food is so-so and nothing memorable. You can bring cooked food though and grill so that's preferrable.

We booked the villa with the private jacuzzi. When we arrived, everything is properly set up — from the tables in the patio to the room and cr — it was clean. There's a water heater for your coffee. There's a mini ref and a 2 water bottles complimentary. In the jacuzzi area, there's a nearby grilling and dishwashing station. NOTE: Bring Off Lotion. There a many mosquitos in the jacuzzi area. For the breakfast, they offer "silog" meals. I suggest that you prepare other food . It might not be enough for you. The place is huge and a lot of sightings and activities to look forward — big swing, kayaking, cross the bamboo bridge, swim in 2 different pools, or just relaxing under the trees. I gave a 4 rating because they don't perform temperature checking and health declaration filling. ALWAYS WEAR A MASK WHEN YOU GO OUT.

This is a good place for people who is looking for calm quiet places. The resort is quite spacious and has a lot of trees and plants. They have a few water activities too. This would have been better if they had more activities for kids like fishing or feeding the animals and some playground. Or maybe they used to have these but not anymore. We availed the daytour glamping and it was very relaxing to sleep in the tents. This place is quiet expensive though.

The place, the ambiance and the rooms are really good. The staff are very kind and accomodating. The problem is the Aircondition we struggled a lot specially my client. They keep calling the frontdesk that the ac is not working properly. The technician came late and tried to fix it but we already done in our session. Good thing that the weather is really good.

It is nice place for family or couple who wants to spend private and quiet time. Althougvthe river itself doesn't look so good maybe due to a recent typhoon its water looks like mud and too many debris. There are many things to improve on such as keeping its surrounding well maintained. I found the rate of the accomodations a little too much.

This is a Riverside resort. They have facilities for glamping as well as a tree house and glass houses where you can stay at. They also have grass huts with tables for day trippers. There are two swimming pools where one has a man-made waterfall. They also have plenty of hammocks and swings and there's an obstacle for team building activities. You can rent an ATV to get around the resort and during the summer, you can go boating on the river. There's also a giant swing for daredevils.

Perfect place to go if you want to escape the city. It's near netro manila so you won't need to travel long. The place is serene yet very modern the glass house with a jacuzzi that we rented for a day was so beautiful and comfortable. It has 2 rooms plus a few bunker beds and a loft that can fit 12-15 people. They have exciting activities like a floating play ground, kayak and team building facilities. The infinity pool is very clean also. Desperately want to come back here soonest.

If you want to go to some place to hang out with friends or spend your night with your love ones while embracing yourself with the peaceful nature, then this is the place you need to visit. A very quiet place that you can relax and enjoy their comfy accomodation ranging from outdoor tents to a nice glass cottage. Also works great for team building and reunions. Nice swimming pools with a river view and some river activities. If you're into photography(unlike me), they have a lot to offer when it comes to instagrammable backgrounds.

You cant contact their numbers listed on the website. Some of them work but no one answers. They ask you to fill out a form but no one attends to them. It is so hard to get to someone. If you want to get there might as well book as early as a month before but if you are spontaneous and are looking for a place to just unwind and wanted to do it on the same day this is not the place for you. They don’t accomodate walk-ins which sucks.

The whole place is undeniably gorgeous because of its plants and trees that are perfectly landscaped to match the modern tropical Filipino cottages and houses for accomodation. They also offer glampings and prenup shoots, river activities and diffrent events. We stayed at the Glass Villa with a private bubble pool and a perfect view of the river for 3 days and 2 nights. The house is very cozy, spacious and aesthetic. The staff were very accomodating, friendly and easy to contact with just in case we had concerns or needs unexpectedly. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for its public pools and toilets nearby. I believe they could improve more on maintaining its cleanliness since their rates are very pricey. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will recommend it to others.

The place was amazing, has a calming ambiance, peaceful and chill vibes especially during the night when there are singers present by the bar. The food is great and I guess we're lucky that it's a bit rainy because it made the ATV experience better. Although the journey is a bit irksome because the roads we got into are just bad but I guess it's the LGU's problem. Overall 9/10 experience, would like to return there in the future.

We had our day tour team building activity here. Not sure what package our group got, but food were good, but a lot for us. Very satisfied with the service. As for the activities, the staff were friendly, and they organized the activities for us. We only stayed for day tour so I don't have reviews for the room. For the mini cabin (like balinsasayaw small house made of bamboo, they have plugs, lights, and electric fans). Since the place was open space, there were some ants and insects on the more nature part of the place. Noteworthy part of the place were the animals like chicken, dogs, and cats. Facilities include: billiards, resto, cafe, waterfall pool, outdoor pool, obstacle course. While outside activity has kayak and the jump balloon. Water outside at the time was a bit green (malumot I'd say). Overall the place was a good place to relax. We had a good time and experience. Place: 4.7 / 5 Price: n/a Experience: 4.5 / 5

This place is great for team building. It has fun water activities like giant swing, kayak as well as ATV. The Cafe makes decent espresso drinks, but best of all, a nice view of the river. Facilities are new since the place was opened in 2022. Let us hope they can maintain it, which is always a challenge in local resorts. Improvements needed are, first, better sound insulation for cottages near the parking area, Sedona d, serve breakfast in reusable utensils. The plastic containers they use have more containers inside for condiments, no good for the environment, especially when they dispose of trash by burning it.

Stayed here overnight for a teambuilding activity. Our teams stayed in 2 villas and 1 cottage house The Good: - The river cruise is nice, it's relaxing - Their restaurant , El Rio, is nicely built by the river that you can enjoy views while having coffee. Serving size of their meals are big so price is acceptable somewhat. The Bad: - The outside of our room was not clean - leaves where everywhere, even in the tables and chairs - The sleeping arrangement where 2 pax will sleep in a loft like area accessible by a ladder is accident prone. We were 4 in the room and the 2 of us that were supposed to sleep there slept on the floor of the villa because of (1) safety and (2) heat. The loft area is not cold (aircon was installed lower than the loft) and no electric fan was provided as well. - The service was terrible. (1) When we arrived (which was at night since checkin time is at 7pm), they accompanied us to our room. After sometime, they delivered the food in bilao type-like trays and did not leave any utensils/paper plates so we can eat the food orderly. Their website said there is a butler assigned per villa but no one was in sight that time that I had to walk to the reception area which was far. (2) The food for our river adventure was wrongly delivered to another group that is why we ended up having another set of meal that we did not order. (3) The pools where there are falls are not clean

The scenery here is beautiful and relaxing. I would love to comeback however bedbugs will make me think twice. We stayed in Glamping last weekend and all of us suffered from bed bugs bite - they are a lot. ATV guide service was not good, didn't explain how to operate until we asked them. The machine of ATV given to my sister was always stopping and the guide treats my sister as if it's their fault. Also the guide was using his phone while driving and really didn't bother to assist. ATV is not worth it.

What an awesome hidden gem! 💎 Fun place, great staff, a must do... especially if you have kids. We stayed in a tent on the river, went horseback riding, atv, dune buggy. Great time

  • 1/5 MJ B. 6 months ago on Google
Just expensive. Check in time is at 7:30PM and the receptionist upon our arrival is non-chalant (in a rude way) and not helpful. There's a group of us and she told my friend that she will call once the tents are ready but did not request any mobile number until my friend asked "how?". I also arrived at the Front Desk and she just gave a piece of paper and a ballpen, without telling me what to do (paper has been filled out already by my friend). When I asked about it, no one said anything and just took the paper back. No proper orientation on what to expect or rules or maps are being provided. Unfortunately, all 3 glamping tents are very moldy and dirty with broken zipper... it didn't feel secure at all. The nipa roofs of the tents are dilapidated and neglected, we oftentimes see lizard droppings and creepy insects. Insects can be common when you are in a natural environment but this one is too much and really different. We stuck with what they have given us because it is 3 glamping tents - it didn't feel like a mistake that the tents are dirty and broken, that is really just the type of service that they offer for Php3,600 per night. Common bathrooms are also not regularly kept and maintained as dirts, molds, spider webs and different kinds of insects can be seen on the walls/partitions. Toilet cubicles are cramped, with very little to no room for movement. We had an ATV activity and just wanted to pose for pictures after the ride - it shouldn't take long, we just wanted a shot with their signage and we are making sure not to get in any of the arriving/departing vehicles' way, but one of the staff is really rude, telling us snarkly that we will pay an additional. Additional fees are not our problem, only the way he said it. Mind you, we were not being entitled or rude to anyone at all. They didn't even want to help us take group pictures when asked, but no offense taken on this one, so we had to do it our own. The only good things about the stay are their infinity pool and the tasty foods by El Rio Restaurant.

Food: 1/10. Especially the breakfast that came with our room (glass cottage 15k per night). Super limited choices and included half a cup of rice, a thin slice of apple, and very few pieces of viand served in microwaveable containers. If you are coming here for the food (El Rio resto) it’s NOT worth it. They also offered a 30% voucher on their FB account but the resto staff didnt know about it. Room: not well maintained and expensive for the price, again 15k overnight. Looked great in photos but the floors were dusty especially under the bed. When the ceiling fan was switched on, dust mites fell on the bed. The only saving grace was the view. Pools were okay. When I reserved the room we were not informed as well that majority of the activities were closed because of the ongoing dam repairs.

Did a glamping with a twist by the river, and the tent wasn’t clean. There was lots of hair and wood dust on the side and under the bed. Air cooler was very old and loud; the electric fan and mosquito light provided were a plus. The view by the river is amazing, but if you’re not by the river, the place looks a little undeveloped/ under construction. It was not very well maintained and was not as privy as it looked. The place looks a lot better in the pictures from their website. Activities are great, there is good staff, and food is average. Pools are instagram worthy but has lots of fallen leaves.

Glass Villa 2: This has an amazing view of the river and it has its own bubble pool. It has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a couple of bunkbeds on the loft. Toiletries and towels were also provided. Downside is that there's no warm water available so the shower's cold. El Rio Cafe: Servings are huge and delicious. Downside is the crew was not in sync with the head office (they didnt know that we've already paid in advance) so we were extremely hungry by the time breakfast was served. River Cruise: It's a whole different experience eating delicious food while cruising on a huge boat. The crew were very attentive to our needs. Thank goodness the weather was so fine! Water and Land Activities: There's plenty of them. One day is not enough to try all of them. Overall: This place is great for both small or large gatherings, either for lounging around or for various physical activities. Highly recommended.
