As my husband mentioned, we were really disappointed and concerned with their food quality at GRAVY SPOT. I never recommend eating their food in Ballarat. We struggled entire night and continuously vomited throughout the night. My stomach got upset and i really suspect that it was rotten and cold meat mixed in the HSP. As per my observation, the Afghan guy from the counter was not using food safety gloves, head cap and he was touching everywhere with his bare hands and not even washing, sanitizing his hands while making food. Really ugly and don't even have minimum knowledge on food services. Worst food quality and safety standards maintaining by the restaurant. It was maintaining well before the guy was handling but nowadays their standards were very poor because of new manager(Small Afghan guy). I feel we should report to the VICTORIAN FOOD AUTHORITY on their food services. NEVER RECOMMEND their services, WORST FOOD in Ballarat. The small Afghan guy from the counter behaviour is very rude and never accepts such behaviour, I hope the FRANCHISE will take appropriate action and remove this kind of people from their food services if you really wanted to do business with the customers. No respect for customers and a very rude, attitude guy. Never fit for this job. Money eaters, not interested in providing quality food to customers. The only way is, we should stop buying food from them if the FRANCHISE will not take any action. I'll definitely spread it across all social media platforms if FRANCHISE or OWNER will not take any action in a week's time on that guy. Moreover, the guy has put "Please RATE 5* FOR THEIR SERVICES and FREE REDBULL", shame on you to beg like this after providing this kind of service to customers.

This place is great! The place is chilly and cool and the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing. You can tell that making the customers happy is their main priority. The food is pretty good, especially the Kebab it’s 100% worth it.

The place is overrated. Kebab taste is below average. I can only recommend the milkshake but unfortunately the rest of the food is average.

I HAVE TRYED THIS SHOP A FEW TIMES AND PUT UP WITH IT BECAUSE I WAS HUNGRY AT THE TIME.. EVERYTIME I GO THE PRICE CHANGES AND IT IS NEVER EVER HOT FOOD.. AND THEY DONT LISTEN...... CHARGED ME 16 DOLLARS AND THEY DIDNT PUT CHEESE ON AND I PAYED EXTRA AND DIDNT PUT EXTRA SAUCE ON IT AND DIDNT PUT TABULLI PROPPER SERVE..

walked in for lunch and I was lucky to found this spot! Everything was super great. I would definetly recommend it for anyone who would like to taste a total different delicoius Kebab!

The food is so good that when my wallet was stolen last week, Gravy Spot was the first place the thief went to use my debit card. 10/10

Nearly 1.30am when I ordered from this place tonight…. Added extras… requested sauces for free that Uber wouldn’t let me pay for…. Not only did they get every request correct they cooked everything brilliantly! Had to take a star of food after posting this as the kebab meat wasn’t cooked as good as it could have been. The rest was great though So glad I chose not to order maccas

I was really enjoying their Milk shakes then suddenly there was a massive size difference for no reason. Chips taste a bit reheated unfortantly. Gravy is nice and they seem like nice people

Have spent plenty of very early mornings queuing in this place after the clubs have kicked us out, so when my daughter asked for cheese chips and gravy for dinner, I took her in! Firstly the place was absolutely empty and the floor was spotless! I have never seen the place like this! We waited a short time for our chips and kebab and we took them home to enjoy with real cutlery! (1.6kms) Upon arriving home I cut the kebab equally in half and opened the chips. The gravy was dark and properly salty, the cheese really stretchy and yummy, but the chips tasted like they had been reheated! You know that chalky taste after you’ve had them in the fridge for a while! Very disappointing! The mixed kebab was dry and the meat barely cooked, no crunchy meaty bits, no hummus as I’d asked and I couldn’t taste any garlic in the sauce! So, so disappointing! On the upside , the service was excellent!

Wanted something for lunch on a day out at Ballarat and spotted this little shop when not much else was open on a Sunday. Had a medium hsp and serving sizes were generous as well as a free soft drink! Will definitely be back next time I come down that way :)

A great place for kebabs and HSP! Not forgetting their tasty chips with the famous gravy! You can’t go wrong with them, definitely recommends it with their consistency.

They have good food especially chips cheese and gravy. Milkshakes are also good, my daughter's favorite.

Never been so sick after eating a kebab. Lost count of how many times I’ve been to the toilet. Yucky after taste lingering in my mouth all night. Do not recommend. Sunday night 7/8/22 I got the chicken with salad and homus, wife got chicken n cheese, and also wing ding and a serve of chips. Not a fake account only leave reviews when needed. Especially When food is bad.
