First experience when calling for insurance information for my relative, the staff person first asked why I was calling, couldn't they call for themselves, how old were they...before answering my question as to whether they accepted Priority Partners. Said my relative would have to call themselves to schedule an appointment. I only wanted to know if they accepted the insurance.Then she indicated they were only scheduling 3 weeks out from today. Her tone was condescending and rude. Doctors may be great but staff interaction is a real turn off.

Dr. Yang is very caring and competent gastroenterologist. He listens well and is personable. He has performed four colonoscopies on me and helped me with acid reflex. When Dr. Yang made a referral and we encountered insurance issues, he and his staff worked quickly and tirelessly to find another professional who would accept my insurance and who was also an excellent clinician. The office is well run and I have rarely waited more than a few minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time. The staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient.

Dr. Chuang is excellent and really makes you feel like he is your corner especially since this is a difficult subject. The receptionists are a bit rough though.

Julie - the scheduler is very very rude. I had to call her twice and each time I said “how are you?” And she just goes “ok. What can I help you with?” Harshly. I didn’t know what “GI” meant and she rudely said “GASTROENTEROLOGY”. I almost just hung up and didn’t schedule. It seems like this is a reoccurring problem here and no one is speaking to her about her attitude.

I have much appreciation for Dr. Yang and the treatment plan he’s setup for me. He is always very friendly, patient and answers all my questions. He is open and honest and takes time to discuss my healthcare. A great office team too!

My experiences at FGA have been quite positive. Yesterday I came in for another colonoscopy. After the usual horrible prep it was a pleasure to received so politely and thoughtfully. Everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease and my procedure was over very quickly. Thanks for doing such a good job for me!

Good doctor he never gave up on me. Lots of problems but we finally got the right meds for my severe constipation.

Outstanding care! My colonoscopy procedure by Frederick Gastroenterology Associates at the Frederick Endoscopy Center was so impressive that I would gladly give them six or seven stars if I could. Dr. Mowery, Dr. Grube, and all nurse practitioners who treated me are superb medical professionals who work as a precision team, efficiently performing all preparatory and procedural tasks while still taking the time to answer all questions completely. They are also punctual, starting and finishing right on schedule. I could not have asked for more professional, courteous, prompt, and efficient care than that provided to me by FGA, and I strongly recommend them to anyone who is seeking a colonoscopy.
